This gas station makes me really angry, but I can't stop going back! The lot is full of deep pot…read moreholes, and the pumps are so old, dirty, and out of date. Sometimes the gas is cheaper then across the way, and sometimes it isn't, but it is a convenient location between Valley Ranch and Oakhurst, and close to the schools in Porter. I go here most often, but only out of convenience because I always run out of gas when I don't have time to stop. The pumps are always sticky, and I carry hand sanitizer in the car at all times just for this place. They seem to never have the receipt machine filled, either. I'd say about 80% of the time the machine doesn't print my receipt. Maybe more often. I thought that when the new Stripes moved in across the street that the prices would become more competitive, but maybe I will start going over there instead? Stop & Drive has great cash deals on gas, and I won't set foot inside the convenience store because I just don't get a safe vibe.

The area around the gas pumps is usually pretty clean. You can tell the staff goes through and keeps all the trash picked up. The inside of the store has always been clean and the staff is all very friendly. Anytime I have needed to buy something and didn't want to have to go to the grocery store they have always been well stocked. This location has large enough parking to allow for big trucks and trailers. There is also a large drive-thru car wash on site. I don't usually look or care about the price of gas but the prices here are standard for the area.

This appears to be a money-making scam at the Porter CVS on FM1314 (and possibly other CVS stores…read morethat I haven't been to??). They have signs posted that there is a "shortage of pennies". I picked up $30 worth of pennies at the bank on Friday so even if there is a "shortage", they are available. So when I paid for my items at the checkout, I received my change back and it was $.03 short. When the clerk handed me my change she said "I don't got no three cents". I'm not sure how much $.01 to $.04 adds up to over the day and night each day, weeks, months and years, but it seems that if the store isn't going to make the correct change available, they need to be rounding up the change given instead of shorting the customer and pocketing the difference. And how about teaching your clerk how to treat the customer and speak properly!!

When I asked politely for an update, the pharmacist gave me attitude and barely looked up from the computer. No explanation, no apology, just a cold "it's not ready yet." I had to stand there watching them chat with each other and move at a snail's pace while I was clearly not feeling well. This is medicine -- not a fast-food order. People come here because they need help, not to be treated like a bother. I won't be returning to this location, and I honestly don't feel comfortable trusting them with something as important as my health
