I picked up $30 worth of pennies at the bank on Friday so even if there is a "shortage", they are available. So when I paid for my items at the checkout, I received my change back and it was $.03 short. When the clerk handed me my change she said "I don't got no three cents". I'm not sure how much $.01 to $.04 adds up to over the day and night each day, weeks, months and years, but it seems that if the store isn't going to make the correct change available, they need to be rounding up the change given instead of shorting the customer and pocketing the difference. And how about teaching your clerk how to treat the customer and speak properly!!

When I asked politely for an update, the pharmacist gave me attitude and barely looked up from the computer. No explanation, no apology, just a cold "it's not ready yet." I had to stand there watching them chat with each other and move at a snail's pace while I was clearly not feeling well. This is medicine -- not a fast-food order. People come here because they need help, not to be treated like a bother. The renovation brought about an entirely new, Sephora style make up counter complete with an in-house cosmetologist. Their make up products are a bit more high end now, offering Boots and No 7 products. The tried and true drugstore favorites like L'Oreal and Revlon are still available, but they offer a lot of new organic and skin sensitive products for those of us with skin issues. There are also cotton swabs, mascara wands, and lip brushes so you can sample the make up. Everything is cleaned before use by the woman at the make up counter. I got a mini make over done one afternoon because I needed some new foundation. Walked out with foundation, eyeliner and some new brow pencils! The general Walgreens staff is very friendly and always knowledgeable about coupons and specials happening in store. I always feel comfortable having them help me locate something I need, and they are quick to ask if I need assistance. Overall, the best Walgreens in Kingwood, if you ask me!

Jane quickly let me know that there'll be an extensive wait because they prioritized appointments first. Once I told her that I'd purchased my tires from Walmart and had a road hazard warranty, she consulted with the Manager on Duty, Tony, and they were able to service my car immediately. Funny enough, no holes or punctures were found in the tire.... Now, I am just hoping that this isn't a fluke. Nonetheless, I appreciated their kindness and consideration after I explained that in order for me to get to work (30 miles away), I needed my car to be serviced. This Walmart was one of the most organized I've ever seen; it made the waiting time manageable as I was able to easily maneuver through the clothing aisles and came across some cute sale finds and even some Harry Potter items on clearance!
