This appears to be a money-making scam at the Porter CVS on FM1314 (and possibly other CVS stores that I haven't been to??). They have signs posted that there is a "shortage of pennies". I picked up $30 worth of pennies at the bank on Friday so even if there is a "shortage", they are available. So when I paid for my items at the checkout, I received my change back and it was $.03 short. When the clerk handed me my change she said "I don't got no three cents". I'm not sure how much $.01 to $.04 adds up to over the day and night each day, weeks, months and years, but it seems that if the store isn't going to make the correct change available, they need to be rounding up the change given instead of shorting the customer and pocketing the difference. And how about teaching your clerk how to treat the customer and speak properly!! read more

Terrible experience at this pharmacy. I went in to pick up my prescription, and the customer service was absolutely unacceptable. The staff behind the counter were rude, dismissive, and acted like helping me was a huge inconvenience. I waited over 30 minutes for a prescription that I had been told was already ready for pickup. When I asked politely for an update, the pharmacist gave me attitude and barely looked up from the computer. No explanation, no apology, just a cold "it's not ready yet." I had to stand there watching them chat with each other and move at a snail's pace while I was clearly not feeling well. This is medicine -- not a fast-food order. People come here because they need help, not to be treated like a bother. This CVS pharmacy is so pleasant. I was just helped by Daniel. I picked up my medications. Simple as that. Out the door. Continuing my day. Highly recommend. Stress free. That's how it's done. I usually I have a very positive quick transaction here, and the pharmacist, Daniel, is a big help! But today, a young lady that works the front named Kim, wouldn't help at the register and then when she was asked, and I told her my medication was by the register where the pharmacist put it, she turned around and called me a "bitch" to her coworker. I told her she's very rude. She told me she wasn't going to help me. But did it anyway. I was appalled! I'm 42. I get she's a kid, but what in the world did I do to her? If she's going to work there she needs to be professional. read more

Very chaotic store. There are no staff attended registers, which creates a situation where the customer works for free, doing the job of an actual employee. Trying to find help when I see 2-3 employees standing nearby and chatting, while ignoring the help button, is infuriating. I'll be going to Walgreens from now on. read more

I went to Walgreens and waited for 30 mins in the drive thru only to tell me my insurance wasn't covered there and it would cost me $160. I went to CVS... I was 3rd in line and got my prescriptions within 10 mins... and my insurance covered it 100% no copay read more

COVID Vaccination process was horrible. i don't understand the point of making an appointment if you still have to wait an hour (past your appointment) to be seen. no sense of urgency from the staff to resolve issue... get your vaccine somewhere else! read more

Really poor customer service. The operations manager Angie refused to return a bag of cat food that I purchased from there. I go to that location all the time and have spent hundreds of dollars at this CVS. They never greet me, or ask me if I need help. They are not friendly. I called corporate and they told me that she could have searched my receipt just by using my phone number. I ended up returning at the Kingwood location with a digital receipt corporate sent to my email. This location sucks!!!! I have 2 incident reports and am waiting to hear back from the area manager. Angie told me to never return to that store. That's fine I can spend my money elsewhere. read more

This pharmacy never ceases to disappoint. 6 people working in the back and only one taking care of the 7 customers in line at 730pm. It's worth noting that I've always been treated very kindly personally but the last three times I've been here I watched as someone has either been talked down to been browbeaten. Last time I was here the pharmacist almost made some little old lady cry because she didn't understand what compounding was not had anyone told her that this Rx doesn't compound so after feeling like an idiot she also wouldn't be getting her medicine. Today the guy in front of me waiting in line for 15 minutes and they still didn't have his stuff ready that was supposed to be done hours before. I am, unfortunately, a victim of convenience or this would be the last Rx I would go to. read more

Every time I come to this clinic I wait no less than two hours. Currently I've been waiting for an hour while the NP or PA, or whatever she is, is taking to someone on her cell and phone about being reimbursed for something. There are NO patients in her room. Happens every single time. After waiting 2 plus hours, I finally go in the room. She's asking questions and tells me how they shut the water off and she had to pee but had to use hand sanitizer. After being in the hospital in Arizona three days ago and again in Conroe yesterday, I went to drop off three prescriptions from both hospitals. My Arizona prescription was declined and questioned as not being on proper paper - makes me feel as though I am being accused of forging the script when it was carried in my wallet straight from the hospital. They refused to call the prescribed and now I have to do their work so that I can get a valid script filled. PISSED. read more

This pharmacy isn't even worth 1 star. They are liars and thieves and know nothing about good customer service. Over the last year l have been shorted 7 pills that l know of. A few of my prescriptions are 2 pills a day and at the end of the month if you are short a pill you know something is not right. About 4 months ago l started counting all my meds when l got home. 2 months ago l was shorted again on one med and at that point l was running out of those pills 2 days before the others. That means l was shorted 4 times in the last year. Another med is off by one pill and l was shorted again this month on a third med. I confronted CVS and spoke with Cindy, who was very rude. I spoke with the store manager, Donna, and asked for the pharmacy manager, she said she was over that person and would help me. After explaining the problem she insinuated l was a liar, because they triple counted their pills. Yea right! I immediately transferred to another pharmacy. And then decided to call corporate and that person was nice. She told me their policy was to double count. And that this store needed to relearn customer service and quality control was lacking. Something along those lines. I do not recommend this store. lf you do use them, count your meds in front of them, because they said there is nothing they can do once you leave the store. read more

Pharmacist J/ female was very rude on a continuous basis. 10:00 am and once again a different week at 4:00pm. I was dropping off a script and she said she did not have it, she never checked the computer nor the shelf. Just swung her head in a big no. I left the drive threw and I went inside and ask another person at the drop off desk and yes, plenty was on the shelf. I have been a customer with this pharmacy for over 20 yrs. Have 3 daughters, so I was there often over the yrs. I know several of the pharmacist that have retired. I miss them and their standards on customer service. This pharmacist is not concerned at all with keeping business. The others in the pharmacy look stressed working with her as the tension get's high. read more

I have been going to this CVS since it opened at this location. In the past five months or so, the pharmacy service has went downhill. The people were what made this place special before, but now, getting a prescription filled here is like pulling teeth. I often have to wait up to ten days just to get the pharmacy to realize I had refills on my prescription, or otherwise it would be ignored..even though I had I requested a refill in good time so I wouldn't run out. This happens time and time again and I am seriously considering switching pharmacies. read more

This location is horrible. Every time I come to pick up my prescriptions there is something wrong. They either make me wait thinking my prescription is being filed and they actually don't have it in-stock or they have messed it up in some other way so irritating. read more
