I know this because my last transaction was at this gas station, and immediately after, I started seeing fraudulent charges on my account. Even though the gas prices are always good, I strongly urge everyone to check the card readers for skimming devices before inserting your card. It's frustrating and inconvenient to deal with fraud, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same experience. Be careful!

On our last trip to San Jose, we were having trouble with the air pressure sensors in one of our tires. We needed air, and we needed it right now! Dear Hubby went in to get change for the machine. He came out very disgruntled, because the woman in the store was flat rude to him. Apparently, the machine was working, which is something that can happen. Being rude about how you give this information to a customer is something that shouldn't ever happen. Hello - customer service, anyone? DH was still grumbling about it several miles later as we tried a couple other stations that also had non-working air machines. At least they had signs posted to that effect. He was feeling offended at the way he'd been treated, so the feeling lingered. It's not likely that we'll be paying for gas at this location again.
