This Chevron gas station has the lowest price of all neighboring Chevrons, at least 2c to 5c. You can pay at the pump with your credit card or save $0.05 if you pay cash. They also take Safeway gas rewards if you shop there. This gas station also has a car wash which is used by some patrons. Never a line here, you can normally get in and out quickly. Only 4 stars as they have some rather large potholes as you exit the gas station which should get fixed to avoid a possible flat tire. 4 stars. read more

Who writes reviews about gas stations? Well now I do! This station's location makes it somewhat of a pain to get in and out of when traffic is really busy but that doesn't concern me. Gas is gas. You drive up, insert card, fill your tank and drive away. The inside of the building is decently clean and you can grab a coke and a stick of beef jerky in seconds. Come here if you want a good quality car wash for a decent price. For around $10 you can your car washed by hand and then dried by hand. It is with great sadness that I must write a negative review of this, my favorite and long-trusted Chevron gas station and car wash. Today, only an hour ago, my car was damaged by their wash attendant for the first time. That might not be enough to justify a negative review, since accidents can happen. The problem is the abysmal customer service that followed the damage. But I am conflicted even as I write, since this place has generally pleased me in the past. So first the positives: near to my house (3 blocks), full service yet economically priced detailing, a thorough automatic car wash, and gasoline with Techron cleaner built-in. The prices are a little high, but that's the corporation price structure and not the fault of this location. The workers who do the detailing (when you pay to have vacuum service and interior cleaning) are awesome and bust their a** to make your car look great! For that reason, IT BREAKS MY HEART THAT I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. This morning I took my red Saturn sedan in and I got a $12 level 2 wash (auto wash plus hand towel dry). They gave me the usual too-short "pre-wash" and I looked past the way the attendant lazily missed several spots. Oh well I said, it's still worth it. Then the auto wash, which is always cool because the walls are open and there is an interesting view. Then the dryer, strong and hot, almost completely drying the car. I run the windshield wipers a few times after the car exits the dryer, since there are water spots on the windshield. THEY WORK FINE, just like they did when I left my driveway this morning. The attendant takes his greasy drying rags and quickly dries the car. The rags leave their usual grey streaks on the window, making me wonder why I skipped the detailing. The detailing is the only way to fix the marks left by their nasty rags. He is rough and definitely NOT gentle as he lifts the windshield wipers to dry under them. He's done, I thank him and drive away. On the way home, I run the windshield wipers to clear the gray streaks and THEY ARE BROKEN. I pull over, and try to fix them by hand. Nothing I do works, they WON'T WASH THE WINDSHIELD ANYMORE. With a great sigh and a low-hanging head, I drive back. I know they won't pay to fix them, that's why there's a sign waiving their legal liability. I guess all I wanted was an acknowledgement that they screwed up, maybe an apology of some sort), and a motivated desire to make sure this doesn't happen to the next customer. I got none of those things. Instead, I got an implication that it was my fault, a total lack of sympathy or empathy, and no indication that they would even bother to tell the attendant who had broken my wipers so that he'd be more careful. Now I have to drive further to get my car washed in the future. :( read more

Over ten cents less per gallon than neighboring stations? What the heck?? Ah, saves me wasting gas to save gas by pumping gas at Costco! Minus: the gas station pumps are only one way. I thought the pumps would be like the ones at Costco, and be able to carry around the other side, but did not. They had the best service. I'm a new driver and they knew helped me get into the spaces and out of them. They cleaned my car really well! Highly recommend! There's someone that comes out the side to ask which service you want so don't worry about buying gas if you don't need it. I wish I had more to tip them. It's a simple no-nonsense automated car wash - $25 for a basic wash with vacuuming and window cleaning later. The people at the vaccum and window stations worked hard with decent attention to detail. To All, DO NOT use this place unless you want to pay for their "deluxe" services. I took my truck through the "basic" wash, and I have never been so disappointed. They used to charge $7 for a great wash before the management changed. Now, they turn off half of the brushes, the soap, and the blow dryer that used to dry the windshield, etc., when you get the $10 wash. My truck looks terrible....black streaks where they turned off brushes so they didn't touch, my windshield was completely wet with grey spots, etc. My wife called them to complain, and the manager was totally rude and defensive, and told her that the $10 wash was just a rinse, and that the "lite" blow dry was enough to dry the windshield. NOT ACCEPTABLE, only 1/2 of a wash! read more

I stopped in to have my car washed here a week or so ago. I didn't read yelp reviews before going in and having the wash done. The machine is pretty old and run down, but I needed a wash so bad it didn't discourage me. I had it done and as the service men were vacuuming and wiping down the inside I started to read yelp reviews about the scratches left on people's cars. I got really nervous because the machine is pretty run down. After the men were done I inspected the car and it was in perfect shape! The inside was cleaned soo well to! I was very impressed and definitely will be back! Not sure what other people were mentioning about this place leaving scratches but my car came out in perfect condition. read more

Got the Platinum Wash for $40. They did a pretty good job vacuuming and conditioning the inside of my large SUV. I would say it is just as good as the Classic Car Wash on Almaden and for a lower price. I think I've paid close to $100 for the same service there, so I'll definitely be trying this place again before I return to Classic. read more

This 'uncovered' car wash was quite the experience. Very expensive compared to typical Chevron car washes. Not the typical driver thru car wash- attendant at the front and end to pre-rinse and hand dry, but expected to tip on top of the already pricey wash. This is the best exterior car wash in this area. I am not a fan of classic car wash but if you want your car vacuumed it's a better bet. As far as the exterior goes (not to mention the cost of gas) this place can't be beat. They always have good prices and the pumps are fast and reliable. The only thing that saves this car wash is it's cheep. I like the fact that its a touch less system that does not have a bunch of spinning brushes to ruin you paint. They also do hand dry the car when your done, but I'm sorry to say they always miss spots that leave water spots and don't do very well on the rims. For the price it's OK and you get in and out pretty quick but after a few visits I'll be looking else where. This was the worst car wash that I have ever experienced . There was so much dirt left on the vehicle that I spent 30 minutes trying to wipe it down and clean it myself, and as the workers started packing up and leaving they left me wiping down my own vehicle. I spoke with management and explained that this was the worst wash that I had ever received and there was so much bugs and dirt left on my vehicle that I had to wipe it down myself management said okay. I was thinking of coming for a full detail for over $120, but if they can't wash it right how can they wax and detail anything. The carwash is distinctly low quality. The marks from bird shit and tree sap are still cleraly visible and wheels look dirty. It not expensive but there are lots of places that for $5 or so more wash your car much better. Also you have to request the free token for the vacuum cleaner when you get the receipt otherwise you won't get it. The gas station is just a gas station. read more

Then I tried to get gas and the nozzle kept coming out and then it wouldn't let me put anymore gas in my car. I am a fanatic about my 1999 Mustang GT Convertible. I have been to many other more expensive car washes, but I find this one to be extremely convenient and quick. And the price is right too. I get "The Works" for $12 which includes a spray-on wax and Armor-All on the tires. The whole thing takes about 5 minutes and I never get out of the car. There are brushes, but mostly strong water and soap spray and blowers that blow most of the water off. There is a guy at the end that towel dries the car. It's still a little wet, and I go back to work and get the drips with a chamois. An added bonus: unlike Robertsville that gouges you for gas, this Chevron station has some of the lowest prices around. If you get the $12 wash, they knock a few more cents a gallon off. No frills, but quick, efficient and inexpensive. read more
