Literally one of the worst pharmacies ever. They have NEVER had a prescription ready for me, even when I get a text saying it's ready, or when I've replied YES to a Walgreens text asking if I need them to fill it ASAP. I don't understand why this is so hard for them to do the thing they are supposed to do- fill prescriptions. I only come here because it's a few blocks from my house but honestly I'm just going to start going to Costco for my scripts because they know how to do their job. read more

This specific pharmacy keeps on disappearing us. So my daughter has a GJ tube and I administer her meds through her tube, about 3 weeks ago her pediatrician prescribed acetaminophen MAPAP which is a liquid version making it easy to be put through her feeding tube. Then I got a call NOT FROM THE PHARMACY but from my daughter's clinic saying the pharmacy called them and said that the medicine was not approved by insurance because it's OTC. I said fine that's not a big deal I'll buy Tylenol I said it has been approved before with no issue but no problem I can purchase the syrup version. Then all of the sudden like a week later I got txt saying the medicine was ready for pick up , I thought they couldn't process it right? I found out my daughter Drs found out that they didn't processed it so she reached to the pharmacy and just like that they processed it and I got it delivered. Which is good. Then today, my sister actually receives a txt saying she has 2 medicines: a lidocaine cream and Tramadol pills. She doesn't take those meds, she hasn't been to the doctor or anything. She calls the pharmacy and whoever answers her is in a rush and doesn't even acknowledge my sister. the only thing she said was: oh, thanks for letting us know bye! And hangs up the phone. My sister felt uneasy because she can see they have charged her insurance already so she just took a drive to the pharmacy because over the phone they just hanged up on her, at the pharmacy she said they told her: oh yeah we cancelled it and ignored her. They didn't even apologize or anything at all. They need either a complete new team members or just a hardcore training. They're horrible read more

So tired of going to pick up my medication only for them to tell me that it's not ready. It's ridiculous that I have to argue with them to fill my prescription on the spot by showing them the text messages from Walgreens texting service saying that my prescription is ready. Absolutely appalling experience at this Walgreens Pharmacy. The level of customer service here is shockingly poor. Every visit feels like an exercise in frustration, with staff who are not only slow and unhelpful--but downright rude. Most recently, I asked a simple question about a generic version of my medication. Instead of providing a clear answer, the three pharmacists behind the counter looked at each other, rolled their eyes, and laughed. One of them pointed at my old prescription bottle and, with clear irritation, said, "Don't you see, it's by prescription only?" I tried to explain that I'm not in the medical field and didn't understand the abbreviations on the label, and their response was to laugh again. I left feeling humiliated. Have been a pharmacy customer for a long time. Find the pharmacy staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. Occasionally there's a mix up with if a perscription pick up is ready or not, but staff always work on the discrepancy and rectify. Also keep in mind that lately with Rite Aid going out of business, all other pharmacies are swamped with new customers. I recommend this Walgreens pharmacy. read more

My local neighboring neighborhood Walgreen's with good customer service and a nice familiar Walgreens layout. The shelves stay pretty stocked and there is never a rush or a huge crowd here though the parking lot, wide a spacious, seems to keep with a regular patron flow. The entrance and exit are very wide driving in and the classic automatic door entrances make distancing very easy. They have pretty wide isles and great snacks and deals and vitamins that keep me coming back when in need. Solid seasonal items that go pretty fast depending on the holiday or time of year. read more

I downloaded yelp just to say how bad this wallgreens is. I went here in late april to get some photos off my disposable camera, and i still havent gotten anything back. I went back there atleast 5 times over months asking what happened to the camera and just never had any sort of update. They must have lost them somehow and now ill never get those pictures . read more

Typical drug store in The Valley. Crappy neighborhood where you are likely to get mugged at night. Parking lot is too small, dirty, poorly maintained with potholes and smells of urine from the homeless relieving themselves. Store inside carries full assortment. Neon lights and cheap vinyl tile floor make for the usual depressing ambiance. Employees must be getting paid by the hour, because they clearly don't care much about customer service. Person at front desk could not be bothered to give direction in store. Lady at photo counter let me wait forever before bothering the help. Frankly, I didn't expect anything else from this store, so it's 2 stars for meeting my expectations. read more

One woman in particular, Veronica is consistently abrasive, rude, and almost confrontational. I have consistently filled my orders here due to the convenience and location, but after the treatment I received today I will be switching. DON'T USE THEIR FEDEX PICKUP!!! I went in having diverted two packages here, and according to the employee, the packages were arranged in "a big mess". It took them twenty minutes to find one of my packages, and the second they couldn't find at all. After forty five minutes of looking, I left empty handed with promises the manager would call. One of my best Walgreens pharmacy experiences I've ever encountered. I came in for a COVID-19 test and Glenda was assisting me. She was EXTREMELY helpful to me and my entire family that had to get covid tested for travel. We had a bit of an issue with getting results in on time but she was able to solve all of our problems instantly. Thank you Glenda for the amazing customer service! Do not come here for a COVID test if you need one in 24 hours. We were traveling and required a Covid test for our under 12 year old. They didn't get our Covid test in time and we had to Jay to get one at the airport before our flight. This was super stressful and frustrating. read more

OMG, The absolute worst service ever. The cashier wouldn't look up from his crossword puzzle the entire time he "" assisted us"", he acted annoyed to be disturbed from his reverie. Everytime I go to this pharmacy, I have an issue. EVERY TIME. Today, it's 4pm & pharmacist isn't here; on break for 30 mins. They won't even TAKE the prescription to get it started. And it will take at least an hour to fill it. So I guess I'm supposed to wait for their fucking pharmacist to get off break for 30 mins, then wait again for an hour for the script. WTF kind of business practice is this?!? Last time, my doc faxed over my script, but 5 hrs later, they STILL didn't check fax machine. This store is a horrible place. The aisles and shelves are cluttered and disorganized and the store has a general dirty feeling to it. I came in because I wanted some sugar free candy and the shelves where so unorganized I had to literally sort through a pile to find something. Also while I was in the store I was forced to hear about how the employee feels like the "customers take advantage" of the staff "like when you rape a collage girl then ask her for sex after" let me repeat this was AN EMPLOYEE saying this. When a customer said it was not appropriate he told her to leave. There where other employees in the store and they all just joked about how crazy he was. I think one of them was as manager because another employee said something about him doing manager mark down. While I was trying to check out the employee who had been making all the comments said maybe a total of 2 words to me. He spent my entire checkout time talking about how he is going to be on set all night someday that week and will be so tired when he is supposed to be working at the store. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions. Whoever provided customer service training here needs to go teach the Van Nuys store how to treat customers. I was looking for a specific item and I love that Walgreen's lets you look up where a item is in stock. So I saw that they had a few in stock. This Walgreen's is only a 4 min drive from my home but I never noticed it before. I had to use my Google map to guide me here. I went in and the store was practically empty and everyone was helpful. So different from the Walgreen's that is 2 min from my home. Don't get me wrong, both have great customer service but I'd rather shop here since it isn't as busy. Since it was empty u actually walked around and grabbed a few more items that I oils balance in my arms so an employee offered me a shopping basket! So very appreciated. I will definitely be back. every time I try to get my medication filled here it's an extreneous effort. my doctor sends my prescription to be filled and it never does until I call, i get varying and conflicting information about my prescriptions each time I call, and today when I went to pick up my prescription that they said would be filled by yesterday, they told me they didn't have it despite my doctor sending them verification to approve the prescription already. read more

I just left my friend's place when I suddenly got a diarrhea scare and headed to this wallgreen. not only did the cashier say that there restroom was closed for the night but so did the manager. all I wanted to do is not shit my sweatpants. I even tried to threaten them at the end saying I'll shit on your doorstep which honestly I was turtling by then. the manager quickly got on the phone which I suspect was a call to the police. why not let me use the restroom. I know that it's an hour before closing and you probably already cleaned it and just say to every person who wears raggedy clothes to fuck off politely but if you would have told me to clean or make sure not to leave a mess I would have. I bought a two pack of long handled lighters for $3. They turned out to be cheaply made (I should have known) and very dangerous. I used one once and took them back to the store. I wanted to exchange them for something of equal value. Because I didn't use my walgreen's card to buy them and did not have a receipt they denied the exchange. The sku showed it came from their store but I wasn't allowed to return a dangerous item for a fair trade. My wife and I probably spend four to five hundred dollars a year at walgreens... oops, not any more.
