This particular 7-ELEVEN can be hit or miss. Today was somewhere in between. It was a very quick visit. I decided to buy $5.00 worth of Super Lotto and Fahram completed my transaction, and I was on my way out. I didn't buy anything on this visit. The store was somewhat clean, trash outside was full, and I have noticed that they had some baked goods in one of the aisles that were on sale. Cookies, candy 2 for $3.00. This is the store on Moorpark. I have been here numerous times and no matter if they are busy or not, you can't just get your items and get out. The clerk will ignore you for 10 minutes while you stand at the counter. Seems it's more important, whatever they are doing, than to take care of their customers. I was first in line and waited.... soon there were 5 more people in line u til they decided to work the checkout register. I find this very off-putting and super annoying. Why not just wear a button that says "I couldn't care less" about the customer. I HATE this store. This doesn't happen at other locations and I try my best to avoid shopping here. read more

I can see why this store has a 2 star rating. It's Pie Day 3/14/26 ordered 2 pizzas. A pepperoni and a meats pizza. My roommate walked to get them. When they got back I opened them and they were not cut, no biggie. I started cutting the meat pizza and it looked a little weird. So I took a bite. It was a barbecue bacon pizza. I was a bit disappointed but thought I'll try it. We had tossed the boxes so I figured I would just keep it. I tried 2 little squares because that's how I cut mine, and it was awful. All I could taste was a horribly overwhelming BBQ taste. Nothing else. We called they said bring it back, I said the box is gone and I tried to eat it. They said put it in something. So I did. I put tinfoil in the bottom of a paper bag and my roommate took it back. They laughed and asked if it was a joke. No refund, no partial refund. My roommate just tossed it. What were they going to do with it anyway. It's not like I was trying to to get something for nothing. We took it back. Just plain rude and God forgive me for this but the 7-Eleven stores in Florida, even in dumpy little towns are better than this. This is in Sherman Oaks! In the Valley! Management needs to get in here ASAP. The attendant tried to charge for a soda even though I clearly had just ice. I tell him he made a mistake and proceeds to give attitude like it's my fault he's working here, he still didn't want to change it for the correct price. It really shows because this is one of the dirtier 7-elevens I've to. The soda machine is always sticky, floors are dirty, cup station looks like it hasn't been cleaned since they installed the machines. Employees need training at this location ! Just encountered an employee that couldnt read the lottery payout tickets to see that I was owed money. All 7-Elevens are basically the same, let's face it. It depends on who's running it, who's at the register, how they stock the store, etc. Here's my experience with this one and I'm the only review you should pay attention to - all the one-star reviews are of similar stripe and I have never had an experience like that at this particular location. But first, let's get one thing out of the way - they don't care whether you like them or not - no 7-Eleven cares so leaving a one-star review doesn't hurt their feelings and you're not keeping people away. The only issue I've ever had at this store, and I'm not sure why this is, but some of the people who hang around outside the store are, well, let's be super nice - sketchy. They look like they'll either eat the head of a chicken or kill you. But the good news is, it's also a location where the police hang out late night, so that's reassuring. That said, I've never seen any of these sketchy-looking people actually eat the head of a chicken or kill anyone. Inside you'll find the stuff you find at every 7-Eleven. They've never been out of anything I've wanted. Some of the other reviews complain that the cooked food looks rank and old. Let me tell you something, if you're going to a 7-Eleven for the cooked food I don't even want to know you. The folks behind the counter have always been cordial and nice. Never had anyone be mean or scowl at me, but then I'm an affable nice old Jew, so they may sense that. I'm outside most of the day traveling for work. I picked up a slurpee here today and was so Hott and thirsty I drank to the last drop, until I saw what looked to be a.. "Wait a minute that's not a?!?!?" Yes. There was a pubic hair at the bottom of my slurpee cup. I immediately felt sick, as I drank the entire big cup. As far as 7-Elevens go, this one could do a little bit better. It's a 7-Eleven though. So if you're just looking for a convenience store, this is one. The things that make this 7-Eleven a little lower on the "totem-pole"? Well, there selection is really poor. They don't have all of the flavors of soda you might be looking for, or all of the different flavors of potato chips, or candy. Also, they're pretty bad at running the register. There's usually a line to check out, and there's usually only one person running a register, while someone else just stands around and chats with them. Also, the food stuffs that 7-Eleven usually has always seem to be out of stock, or not prepared. And last, but not least, there's usually something wrong with the soda-fountains or the slurpee machines. So you may, or may not, be able to get what it is you're looking for at any given time. I would normally never take the time to write a review about a 7-11, but in this case, I had to. I would actually have given no stars if that was an option. I went in to get an iced tea and accidentally used one of the cups that was supposed to be for some frappucino type drink. When I went to pay, the owner or the manager of the store wanted to charge me for cup because I guess it must cost him a little more than the ones for the iced tea and sodas. I explained that I didn't realize that I used the wrong cup, and he was incredibly rude and nasty to me. While he tried to save a penny on his stupid cup, he lost a customer. Went there to get a cup coffee while in line the gentle wabted to get 2 sodas for 2 dollars the rude cashier stated he could not puchase the sodas like he wanted to so they go back and fourth for a minute. I also noticed that if you order from Amazon and don't have a place to ship to, you can select this local 7-11 and they have lockers for your goods. Advice. They do have a wide variety of coffee to choose from if you're in a rush and don't have time to stop at your local shop. Check out their ice coffee, it's not that bad. Usually they have beer specials on bud & miller lights. They so have IPAs. For food, I'd probably stay away. I know they're really pushing their pizza, but it doesn't sit well the next morning. This is thee best 7-eleven I have ever been to!! Great service, and always clean and freshly stocked. I enjoy starting my day by visiting this excellent location. The manager bicky is always nice and pleasant, and his employees are awesome too!! Frank, korina, tilak, singh, and the rest of the crew are always so pleasant that I have come to consider them as family, and I have come to know each employee personally, and have formed very special and unique bonds with each of them. 7 people in line. 1 cashier. This happens more than it should. Especially when there are other employees in the store. None of them seem to care that a line is building. Times to avoid this location- 3-4pm on school days and an hour before lotto sales end. Maybe my standards are too high considering this is a 7-11, but having managed a quick service store, I expect more.
