My son wanted to try this place out, so we stopped by one evening over the summer. It's tucked away in a Publix shopping center so parking is good. The interior was fairly nice & had a few tables if your wanted to stay in. They serve Boba, Tea, Slushies, smoothies, & more. I ordered a raspberry smoothie mussels. The smoothie was as expected; nothing extraordinary, but tasted decent. I also ordered a pack of macrons; they had a pretty good selection of different flavors and had a clear sleeve to pack a grouping of them to-go. The macaroons were tasty as well. The shop had a good variety of selection, I'm sure most folks could find something of interest here, but it seemed to be priced a little on the high-side.....not prohibitively so, but notable. After a short 10 mile ride I came here to enjoy a smoothie. This is a quaint little place with seating indoors and out. Atmosphere is very laid back for hanging out and having a relaxing time. Plenty of menu options to choose from tea to yogurt to smoothies and juices. I grabbed a strawberry banana without boba. It was good and smooth and full of flavor. I will NEVER be coming here EVER again. I went in and ordered the California dreamin with the green apple fruit jelly only to find a bug in the jelly. I have been going to Chewy Boba for over two years. The experience this evening was subpar. Not the frozen yogurt, but the staff. The two young girls working spent 100% of the time talking about high school nonsense, loud enough that we could all hear every little detail. When attempting to address their unprofessional behavior there was one who was particularly rude and condescending. Her mother should be disappointed and ashamed of the rude way she treats people. If my daughter (or son) acted that way, she would quickly be reminded that there is no room for condescending little jerks. If the owner would like to contact me, I'd be more than happy to discuss this further. Needless to say I'm looking forward to Menchi's opening. That will be our weekly spot, as Chewy's has become someplace that I am no longer comfortable frequenting. I wouldn't take my children as they do not need to be exposed to that type of nonsense. read more

I'm so glad that I was finally able to try out this place. I ordered the Winter Melon Milk Tea with Lyche jellies and strawberry boba. Personally I don't think I will be getting boba or jellies in it next time. Wasn't much of a fan of that part of the drink but did love the almond flavor milk tea. This 3-star review is for their new additions of the standard frozen yogurt bar. They added the boba tea and macaroons section lately. I was thrilled to discover that there's a boba place so close to my house. I ordered the lychee tea with boba. If you had boba before, you would know what I mean when you have the cravings for that chewiness of boba. Well, sadly to say, the bobas that I had were hard. I mean HARD! It was definitely not cooked all the way. Didn't they taste it before giving it to the customers? I was very disappointed. I've never written a bad review on yelp before. I've been to chewy ever since I was in high school and I am now a senior in college so I can be considered a pretty loyal customer. But I am disappointed in this chewy, just this specific location. I ordered yogurt for my younger brother, 3 boba drinks for my sister and my other brother and myself. My sis got a boba milk tea and it tastesd so weird and i can't even explain the taste. As for my drink, I am very disappointed, I got an avocado smoothie WITHOUT BOBA because I can't have boba. The blonde girl with short hair took and made our orders and she gave me the avocado boba WITH boba, i was just gonna drink it whatever but i really can't drink it without getting the boba too so I asked if she can take the boba out, i told her that she can take the drink back and just take out the boba so she doesn't have to make a new one but she said she can make a new drink, the new drink came out tastes nothing like avocado smoothie! It tastes like milk blended with lots of ice. And the thing is the first drink with the boba tastes ok and when i told her to remake it, i felt like she gave me an attitude and gave me back such a bad drink, making feel very uncomfortable to ask for a remake. Lemme tell you what, I let me 5 years old brother tried it and he said gross! So you can imagine how that taste like. I think the management needs to retrain the girls, they really do need to work on there customer service!! I don't think I would ever come back here.
