I have enjoyed getting to and from the airport many times with Chey because ultimately Chey Cab is reliable. She and her drivers are always early and always excellent drivers. They're also very patient while waiting for late flights! Chey always has a treat for my dog and isn't offended when he turns up his nose at it. One time when we pulled into the driveway, she led him over to the back yard to do what comes naturally - without being asked - while I was getting my act together with the carrier and the luggage. The dog and I were BOTH very grateful! I told her I felt like she deserved another tip for that extra service, and she laughed and said "for just standing here holding onto a leash?" I just used Chey's limo service for the first time (first of many, probably) for a trip to the airport to start a vacation. I expected it to be professional, but I was catered to beyond my expectations. The car was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the driver (Chey herself) was very easy to work with. You can obviously save a little money on rides like this by using an app & rolling the dice, but there is a huge difference between going that cheap route (and I say this as someone who has done some driving for Lyft) and getting hooked up with a ride that has everything taken care of so thoroughly. I used Chey's car service for the first time this am. The communication was fabulous, from booking to reminders. This am, they were at my house 15 minutes early - which I truly appreciate. Since this was my first time using this service, I always have a bit of nervousness about whether or not someone will show up. Early arrival allayed those fears. The car was clean. Comfortable ride, safe, and reliable, but pricey- $100 one way from SW Woodbury to the airport is pretty steep. This was also not communicated with me and I had no idea how much the travel would cost until I saw the charge to my bank account. I'd still pay it again for the comfort and feeling safe. read more

Chey is outstanding! I found Chey Cab here on Yelp and noticed there were quite a few top-notch reviews of praise. I gave her a call the night before I needed a ride to check her availability for the the next day, which happened to be St. Patrick's day. Apparently St. Patrick's day is a busy day for cabs due to the large number of celebrators who make the smart decision not to drive. Chey said she already had full schedule for the next day but that I should contact her a few hours before I needed a ride and she would find someone for me if she couldn't do it herself. She ended up not being able to personally fulfill my request because of the high volume for the day, but she took the time to find me a ride by reaching out to her network of drivers and eventually found me a driver named Osman. Osman arrived early to pick me up in his immaculately clean vehicle. He knew exactly where to go by only the street address I provided and took the shortest and quickest distance to get there (according to Google maps as I looked beforehand). He was also very personable, friendly, and maintained a great balance of conversation while paying attention to his driving and other drivers on the road. Needless to say, I felt very safe and it was actually enjoyable. I am happy to have found such a great place that I know I can trust to call if I need to be somewhere on time. What do you call a limo/cab service that has to modify a scheduled airport pickup because of your connecting flight delays, and arranges for a colleague (Osman: one the the nicest, most considerate gentleman ever) to meet you at the taxi area, right on time. Chey cab was a great experience! The cab looks like a normal taxi from first glance. Once inside there was red lighting, it smelled good, Chey greeted me with a smile and handed me her iPad to pick music. She was super friendly and picked a good route. I love unconventional cabs, I tend to take car services and as far as I've found she is the only good option from St. Paul . They arrived on time, in fact let me know they'd be a little early, texted when they arrived, the car was a very nice huge clean sedan with a bottle of water in the door, the driver was pleasant. The reviews about the reliability were correct. The negative is that the system to make a reservation is clunky: you make reservation online or through text (no live person) and it takes very long to get initial confirmation. (Maybe they are driving or trying to find a driver?) I could be wrong but it took maybe 2 hrs? I repeatedly asked in texts, online, and in person of the driver what the cost would be. I got zero answer. Even after I arrived at first destination from the airport the driver could not tell me the fare but said it was through the office and they didn't have the info. I had to guess at a tip. (I was very generous.) I had no choice but to use them going back to airport as you can't cancel 24 hours before ride or you lose the money they already deducted from your account. (It was an emergency trip and I had no access to a computer to check my account to see what they took out.) When i finally landed back home on the other side of the country I got an email: $110 each way to Minneapolis airport from Long Lake for the 'economy sedan' ride. That may be acceptable for this maybe 30 minute ride. (They also have more luxurious rides you can take.) So maybe this gives you some idea: good car, reliable, nice driver, terribly slow reservation process with some errors that were corrected, good texts after reservation finally confirmed, and not transparent fees.) Be sure when making reservations to select the Minnesota time zone so they have your correct arrival time. Best wishes. read more
