Walking up to the little building you can tell it is a labor of love and it shows. The flowers are beautiful, and the place is tidy and well kept. The staff (I think the family that owns it) greet you with a smile and make sure you have everything that you need. Granted, the course is simple, (it was designed in the 50's) but you get to ring a bell and everyone cheers when you get a hole-in-one. You get a commemorative bumper sticker as a trophy! There is a chance to spin "The Prize Wheel" on the 19th hole. They still have one of the original obstacles (A little windmill, still working) and one of those penny grocery store mechanical horses that kids can ride for free! In an age when people require fire spitting robot pirates and exploding dragons to be entertained, it's nice to remember what it was like to go to a small amusement, run with pride, and enjoy a simple, outdoor activity, and company of people that you love.

Overall the course is very run down, needs a lot work and is not well maintained. The young man working was patient and kind and gave us new balls when they got stuck in the tunnels (obviously filled with debris). They also had go carts that actually had pretty good speed and the track isn't too bad either. That was probably my favorite. We ride the bumper cars, and did the arcade. The only thing that wasn't working was the jumping trampoline. Other than that EVERYTHING was open. Which most places you go to almost half of the rides are down. That's not the case here. After spending a long time in traffic and arriving excited, we were told the venue was unavailable for several hours because of a private event. There was no notice online, no update ahead of time, and no effort to help families who had already made the trip. It was frustrating having to completely change plans at the last minute with kids who were looking forward to spending the day there. Better communication and updated information would make a huge difference and help avoid wasting customers' time and energy.
