If you are going to take the ski lift up, you might as well take the Howler back down! This is one…read moreof the longest alpine slides I have ever been on and priced about the same. And because proceeds go to support the local winter sports club, it felt good splurging on this activity. My partner did have an issue with his slide not wanting to go at one point on the way down, which took away some of the thrill, but we still had fun.

Waivers are accessed via scan codes and electronic. Ticket prices were reasonable. Staff were friendly. And we're done. Total disclosure: if you have all the time in the world and aren't bothered by waiting in lines, lines and more lines - there are no downsides. If you're like most of us and waiting in the heat, under the full brilliance of the sun, watching the younger staff chill in their shaded watch towers is a bit (ok, a lot) frustrating, pass on the Howler. If it's the fall, when the weather is cooler and you've got a few hours to spend in line and are happy to trade that for a semi fast 10 minutes slide - the Howler is for you. Did we enjoy it (finally)? Yes. Did we also need to take showers afterwards? Yes. Did we arrive when they opened at 10 am and still sweat out a**es off? Yes. Did we consider and reconsider asking for refunds and leaving? Yes and yes. Did we create faux trauma bonds with everyone around us and commiserate in line? Um, yes. What would've made things better? Shade. Offering water to customers and not to staff only. Communication, re: why every fourth chairlift was being used instead of every chairlift. It's the little things. Would we go back? Absolutely not.

We had a very positive experience at Fun City for multiple reasons this past week. Our group (age 1…read moreto 73) visited this place twice on our recent vacation to Estes Park and not only did we have a blast with all of the activities, but the staff went above and beyond to help us when we had a problem. My husband's car keys slipped out of his pocket on the go carts. One of the workers diligently searched the car after we discovered that they were missing, but they were not immediately found. My husband also searched it awhile later and when we had finally given up and assumed that they had been lost somewhere else in the park, a manager and owner came to the rescue. They insisted that they wanted to try one last time to locate the keys and actually picked up the heavy go cart and disassembled the bottom part of it, revealing them in the bottom of the car. I have been coming to this amusement park since I was a child and highly recommend it for the mini golf, bumper boats, go carts, rainbow slide and the arcade games...as well as the incredibly helpful and caring staff!

Most of the workforce is made of minors whom are underpaid and overworked. The kids working here are paid a Whopping 12.60 an hour at starting wage which is atleast what I made, which after my research is quite literally the minimum they could pay them. One cent less an hour and they would've been breaking the law. They have ZERO job transparency which means I was working for the first two weeks having no clue what I was making after looking at my paycheck It became clear it me why they never told me my starting rate when I first Applied. And sometimes you are asked to work more than 8 hours on Random occasions which is ILEGAL. No legally required breaks are ever given, You are told to eat your lunch at your ride when no customers are around, which is hardly ever. They fail to give their Minor workforce their Mandatory 30 minute break. Which if you didn't know if an employee is under 16 they are required by law to take a 30 minute break if they work at-least 3 hours. But here they have 14 and 15 year olds working for 8 hours straight At the same ride with no breaks for straight peanuts. No one really seems to talk about The Horrible work environment this place has, and I hope they better their ways. If this review is ever deleted, you Would Know why.
