No lines! Sanitizer available. The young staff were very professional and extremely happy. The prices were within range. They did offer Military discounts. We played miniature golf, got on the go carts and water bumper cars-got wet! Leave your purse in the car. We had a great time! Even won a free game of miniature golf!

This is by far the most scenic and picturesque miniature golf course in the Estes Park region, plus, the course is well designed, playful, and modern! There are water features, sand traps, and tunnels. You can choose Mountains or Meadows- two separate 9 hole courses. The whole family will have a blast. It is situated along the river, with a view of both the mountains and meadows! There are also snacks, a go kart and bumper boat area, plus bungie jumpers for the more adventurous. A really great family destination!

This is a nice, "good, old-fashioned" place for kids and families to have some fun together. It reminds me of my childhood and how fun it always was to go to different parks like this, and it's really great that these places haven't all disappeared so parents who visited these spots as children can enjoy these places with their own kids now. Oh, nostalgia... ;) There are go-karts, bumper boats, bumper cars, a train, mini-golf, snacks, a food place...lots of that old-fashioned fun I was talking about. There are ticket packages for all the activities so you don't need to pay a bundle for a bundle of things. There is an age minimum of 2.5 and luckily the two toddlers in our group were old enough to participate, not that anyone carded them or anything. The employees here were surprisingly friendly imo. Honestly, I was very impressed with their service. I kind of wish I took down a few names just so I could give them props here, but I was preoccupied with my youngster when I was there. I really expected a bunch of annoyed teenagers, but the staff here were very polite and professional. Nice job! The facilities seem well maintained too. Flowers were even flourishing when we were there. If I were back in the area, I think we actually would try to go here again. As my toddler grows u a bit, I can only see her having more fun at a place like this!

Awesome fun with the family! I recommend buying the 100 card and using it early in the day. They load it with $140 value plus before 12 you get 10 percent off!!! We had a blast on the go karts and bumper boats!!

I like the golf course. Pretty and somewhat fun. I'm from Florida so the mini golf there is pretty spectacular with fun themes.

It's a fun place to take the kids for a couple hours. I spent $100 for 3 kids to play for about 2hrs. The staff is really friendly.

Looking for a time capsule then loon no further as you have found it right here at Lakeside!…read more This park really is awesome as you can tell it's been kinda just left to the elements of time as everything here just felt like the 1960's which was totally cool with me because its unique to any other park I've been to in the country and that alone created this incredible vibe! It seems like they are only open at night which is awesome because I love going to the park at night as it creates a whole new atmosphere that the day can't match from the sights and sounds you can't really go wrong with a night at the park! Lots of this park is very run down like it really needs some help which made me kinda sad but happy to see it's still in operation if I had the money I'd totally fix it up and keep it nostalgic to its roots like get the roller coaster going and what not! Wild Chipmunk alone was worth the trip here as you don't see many coasters like that being operational anywhere a true gem in the coaster world! Their train ride was awesome too takes you to the edge of the property around the lake making for a long fun ride that we totally loved! They offer all day wristbands or tickets since we only rode a few things we went with the tickets making for a bit of a saver for us money wise so just plan accordingly if you choose this path! Overall this park is awesome I'd love to see it get the love and respect it deserves as I can tell this is a very valuable asset to this community and I hope to come back here again at some point because this truly is up there with my favorite parks I've ever been to straight up a vibe here the whole time!

Is it dated? Yes. Are some of the rides and games out of order? Yep. Does it need a good scrubbing?…read moreIt does. Are the workers friendly? Not especially. If you can get over its shortcomings, Lakeside is a pretty fun place to go, and at 116 years old, it's pretty OG Denver. My husband and I took our son this afternoon (they open at 2 pm on weekends) and had a sweltering good time. They gave a new (to us anyway) entrance process. Parking is free now, and after you park you empty your pockets and do a bag search, which was no big deal and I'm honestly surprised it took as long as it did for this to happen. After security the experience kind of tanks. They had 1 person at the entrance doing admissions and NO SIGNS. Seriously, Lakeside, if you read reviews, PLEASE post a few signs at the entrance with the fees so people can decide what they want as hey wait and do your poor employee doesn't have to go over it while everyone waits. My family waited 40 minutes to get in today, and the fact is that that was 40 minutes of lost opportunities for us to have fun and to spend money at the park, and that is just speaking of my group.

The slides and attractions were really great, we actually appreciated getting in some exercise carrying tubes to ride start locations but if it's you and your younger kids, you're gonna be carrying that sucker by yourself! (Or purchase tube valet but it didn't seem worth it since you still have to take tubes a little ways down to enter the ride). The Journey to the Center of the Earth is a must-do, and we liked the very tall body-slides as well. The staff were actually great, all very friendly, asking how we enjoyed the ride. Super personable for teenagers so great job to whoever does their customer service training. We did purchase a few food items and they were expensive but good, especially the fries. Definitely would recommend this place for a hot day in Denver.

We just happened to be driving up to Grand Lake to do a scenic drive around this gorgeous lake and came across this go karting place that my kids wanted to try out! It's a mom and pops kind of place, which we totally LOVE to support especially when it has a story w/ a BIG heart behind it. Check in was super easy, they give you tokens for go karting or bumper cars. Since it's a small place, the wait didn't take too long. Our family of 6 was able to rent 3 doubles and raced each other. The crisp fresh air and the view of mountains in the background made it even more special. The carts ran very smoothly, the exhaust weren't smoky like alot of places, and they even make it fun by pouring out buckets of water to make the grounds slippery during the ride.. felt like we were on Mario Karts. ;) For the bumper cars, I can tell the owner controlled some parts to make us spin just to give us a good laugh. I loved that! Just observing the place, I can tell there was so much labor of LOVE put into this wholesome fun fun fun place. There was a repair shop with a cart hanging waiting to be restored with lots of tools hanging - the owner must be a super handy man. This past weekend marked 20th year anniversary for Rocky Hi Speedway and we had the priviledge of meeting the owner! Such a friendly guy and my obervation were all correct. Sad to see this place up for sale since it hasn't gotten much foot traffic, but gathering from our convo I felt like he would love to keep it running. Therefore, I would like to put this place on the map and give a special shout out to the guy who put all his heart and time into building this place! Thank you for providing my family such a fun, safe and family friendly environment to enjoy the rockies! I really hope this place will stand for generations to come. We'll def be back!
