The dispatcher was the absolutely rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever encountered and said she would not be sending a cab because I missed the call. I called back immediately while looking at the cab. I don't know how any business can function like this. I am a tourist in this city and this was the absolute worst. She says he was doing 40km over in some places. She felt extremely uncomfortable in the car and had him drop her off at a neighbours house. I left a private complaint hoping the owner would sort it out and speak to his driver. Paul Wilson asked me to call him and proceeded to defend his drivers every action.

Took driver 1 1/2 hours to pick us up. Dispatcher kept assuring us cab on its way. When he finally got there, he did not bother to check other entrance to Mt St Louis Moonstone where he had been instructed to pick us up. Strange behaviour - did not know where we were going or how to get there - seemed thick, dull, stupid. Later cab company owner asked us if it appeared that he was on drugs. The cab company did not know where he had been for 1 1/2 hours. Found out that driver had been stopped by police and charged with obstruction while driving one of their cabs not too long before this incident. Then found out ... from Midland Police Department .. that this driver was driving without a license. He is being charged with this offence as well. Shame on owner who still had this man driving for him. Shame on dispatcher who kept assuring us cab on its way Shame on driver for being so irresponsible.. Cab company owner should also face consequences. My daughter participated in the extreme sports event Tough Mudder that day. She did an amazing job, completing every obstacle and finishing 16 kms with her team. She was exhausted, cold, wet, hungry ... covered in scrapes, scratches, bruises and mud (even though she had hosed down). It was dark, everyone else had left the location ... even the security staff. She was in tears! The weekend had been planned to take the stress of f of her so that she could concentrate on doing this event. The Union cab experience ruined her Tough Mudder experience. When she needed to get back to the B&B - have a hot shower, soak in the hot tube, and have a substantial meal ... we were waiting on the side of the road ... with her cold, wet, and shivering.
