I understand things happen -- they're just contacts, it's not the end of the world -- but the lack of communication and customer service is disappointing. The lens quality of one of them is so bad that it is blurry, and you can't see through the lens. The other glasses were uncomfortable to wear as well. When I went to my ophthalmologist, finally, it was determined that BOTH pair of glasses had the wrong prescription! I had been trying to work with the store from the beginning and they kept just cleaning the lens and adjusting the fit and then the 30 day return period expired and they said that there was nothing they could do! The only reason it expired is because I kept trying to work with them. Absolutely no one would ever return my calls, I would call customercare make a complaint and they would assure me that managers would call me back to no avail. No one ever called me or addressed this situation. Even when I went in in person and showed them a note from my ophthalmologist saying that the prescription in both classes was wrong. No one has contacted me! I have had to write corporate the CEO and General counsel to see if I can get any resolution. This was close to $600 worth of glasses with me having a $300 out-of-pocket. At first, I was simply asking for them to remake the glasses; now I am just asking for my share of my money back so I could go somewhere reputable and get glasses that actually have my correct prescription and that I can see out of! I have not been able to use these glasses. They are totally useless. One you cannot see through because of the blurry haze due to the inferior lens quality (and wrong prescription) from the in-house lenses that were from Lenscrafters and the other is simply giving me a headache because it is not the right prescription. I seem to have to squint even with those glasses on. Dollar store glasses are definitely better! Do not shop here! (Noah is very nice but the quality of their product is horrible and Lenscrafters does not standby their products and has no customer service) Maria the manager at the store kept promising me that the regional manager Amanda would call and neither of them ever called me -EVER- despite numerous efforts! Horrible, horrible quality products; horrible, horrible customer service. Find another place! I have Human Compbenefits insurance, I just got of the phone with them after I received my new cards for the upcoming year. I was charged, and I let it happen without thinking, $461.00 for a basic frame with progressive lenses. The frames were 0. The options were over $400. Insurance agent "Why did you get the tier 4 premium options on a basic frame?". I was never given an option. I took his word for it. I will NEVER do that again. The tier 1 option was included. He charged $189 for tier 4. Anti Reflective tier 1 $60 I was charged $135 for tier 3. No options given. The Dr is always complete caring and comprehensive. Watch out for the crook that sells you frames!!

Drops went in at 3:55 and the Doc didn't return for a half hour, after saying she'd be back in 15-20. I made the appt at 3:00 with another meeting at 4:30 figuring never in life would an eye exam take longer than an hour, let alone 90 minutes. Maybe my expectations are a bit too high. Who knows?

Took me back for initial exam and dilation then sent back to the waiting room for another 1.5 hours. I asked the receptionist and she offered to reschedule but was dilated and it had been 2 hours already! I asked again and she just disappeared! There were already 6 people waiting, all looking quite lost, with one receptionist, who also looked lost. I waited u til 8:45 and after hearing the receptionist speaking to another patient who arrived well after me, and telling him it would be 1-2 hrs, I've had enough! I stepped up and told her to cancel me, I'd find a Dr. and practice who actually care. As a side note, the practice used to offer a full service eyeglass technicianand hundreds of frames including contacts. Now there're handwritten signs all over the office stating "No glasses, No contacts, Sorry." One more thing, I received two text messages to confirm my appointment at 8:30, which I promptly answered. Then I received 3 additional phone calls over the previous week from a number and listing I didn't recognize (MEDULA & KUBAL) so didn't answer and they went to voicemail. As I had noted the vision in my right eye declining I ended up getting shuffled around amongst various specialists, finally ending up with Triso M. Lara, MD, an ophthalmologist specializing in retinology before getting some answers. I really can't state enough good, not only about the dedication and competency of Dr. Lara, but also of his entire staff; all top flight professionals as well as polite caring individuals. In one rather long day setting (they take their time with you) I went through a battery of test and examinations, even with blood stream dye injections in order to check the blood vessels within my eye, and the results of each test were not only shown to me but the meaning of each fully and in detail described. They want you to not only know, but to fully understand their findings. With me, it wasn't one thing but two. A combination of cataracts and dry age related macular degeneration, not all that uncommon for someone my age, 72. So now, finally, I know. So a thank you Dr. Lara and a thank you to his staff for getting to the bottom of what I had going on in my eye and helping me out.
