Dr. Hartleib took great care of me! I had several fillings from my adolescence that had cracked and needed replacing, as well as some new decay due to having very deep grooves on my teeth. All in all, it was five appointments total to get everything taken care of, and every one of them went as smoothly as they possibly could have. First of all, the staff is all incredibly friendly, they use your name and make you feel welcomed. Very bright and wide open rooms, with X-ray equipment folding completely against the wall instead of hanging over your head, which was especially good for me, because I have mild claustrophobia as well as sensitive teeth which can make any trip to a dentist or periodontist quite stressful, so it helped a lot with my nerves. In addition, they have fuzzy blankets, noise cancelling headphones, or a television in each room. When we did my consultation, there was one tooth where a cavity was possibly touching a nerve and based on X-rays, Dr. Hartleib said a root canal may or may not be necessary; they would just have to wait and see when they got in there. Afterwards, he said that it was right on the edge of touching the nerve, so he used a new technique where they took 98- 99% of the cavity, and sealed it off in hopes that any remaining bacteria will die from the lack of oxygen and a root canal can be avoided entirely. Wow. A big save of pain, time, and $$$ to not have to do that! They also had me do a sleep study, which sounded bizarre to me at first, but because due to my proclivity to decay, they wanted to make sure I didn't have sleep apnea, which I had no idea could be causing dental issues! Turns out that I didn't, but that kind of thinking (staying constantly up to date with new studies, making lifestyle connections for their patients to prevent future decay, and checking every possible box) is what made my five appointments, yes, unbelievably, very pleasant. Dr. H did a fabulous job, and was a pleasure to have him work on my teeth, and the two assists that i had on my case, Josie and Erika were absolute gems as well. Dr. Hartlieb is by far the best dentist I have ever been too. He has transformed my smile into something of beauty. In fact, many people comment on how beautiful my teeth are who do not even know that I have had major dental work performed. I use to never want to smile that large before, but now I smile as big as possible when photographed. I just finished cosmetic and needed dentistry with Dr. Hartlieb. I am extremely pleased with my new smile. Dr. Hartlieb is an artisan that strives for perfection. He is great at communicating the process and reasoning for what he wants to do. He is a very good listener and will not finish the work until you are happy. After the first insert of the veneers I analyzed each tooth and said what I felt could be improved on. He agreed and the veneers got sent back to the lab. Each tooth that I wanted improved on either length, width or color came back perfect. His biggest challenge for my case was matching my older upper right bridge with my new upper left veneers. Matching the color was a real challenge that came out perfect. Dr. Hartlieb's equipment for photography and video are State of the Art. He was able to show before and after shots of potentially what my new look would be. Both Dr. Harlieb and Dr. Ching are fabulous dentists, they are very professional, do incredible work, and all of my procedures have been totally painless. No matter which Doctor, I am scheduled with I am always pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and general concern for the patient. From the moment you walk in being greeted by a smiling Lee at the front desk to the assistants with tremendous attitudes combined with the comforting witty doctors. What a nice touch, Dr Ching! Your craftsmanship is much appreciated. The critical color match is excellent, the structure is a natural matching sculpture, floss clearances are great, I had almost no discomfort afterwards from the numbing and it was was limited to a very small area. I thought you spent very little time fitting and trimming the tooth compared to all other dentists that I have experienced, and when I drove home I felt it was a bit tight and we would adjust it on Fri. Had a sandwich, forgot about it, an hour later realized the fit is absolutely superior.
