Where do I begin.. this is my second time getting eyelash extensions, but first time at this place. I found this place on google and they had very good reviews! I was hesitant because I believe you get what you pay for.. they were the cheapest place I had found. When I arrived the lady at the front desk was not very friendly. Also the girl who did my lashes was not very informative. The first time I had mine done the lady talked me through everything and asked me questions about what I wanted. This lady jumped right into everything and I had no idea what she was going to do. She didn't even talk to me to inform me during the process. When she was done I went to put my contacts back into my eyes. She quickly jumped right onto her phone. I was not sure if she was going to walk me to the front or if I was suppose to open the door and let myself out, which in my opinion is very unprofessional. A week later, and my eye lashes are pretty much all gone. The first time I got them done they lasted for almost a month. Also the biggest red flag about this place is that I have PINK EYE IN BOTH EYES. I will not be coming here again and I wish I never wasted my money. This was my second time getting eye lash extensions! I don't usually do these types of things regularly, but when there are special occasions like weddings, why not!! Julie was my stylist both times and she was awesome! She helped me choose the right type of lashes that suited my personality! She was very friendly and made sure I was okay throughout the process. My most recent eye lash extensions are still on and it has been about 2 months already! I still get compliments on my lashes! I came to this spot due to a place that over permed and ruined my beautiful lashes. A place named (THE LASHE SPOT, on 1866 n Damen Ave in chicago).Until my lashes grow out, I have no choice but to get lash extensions. I told EMEL what I wanted, nothing too obvious or heavy, due to my line of work and to be more on the natural side. She picked a size with me and figured out the amount of curl I'll need to hide my natural lashes and did just that! They turned out lovely. She is such a doll. Time flew by as she applied my lashes. After researching several places for lash extensions, a friend of mine referred me to Chicago lashes! It was my first time ever getting lash extensions done! So I was a bit nervous. The place seemed perfect as it's in my neighborhood! Once I made an appointment to come in, the receptionist Aliya, comforted me and assured me I will love the service once done and that I will get addicted and that I will keep on coming back for more. And boy was she right! She told me in advance that it was a 2 hour procedure and to be prepared. Aliya set up my appointment with Moon. Moon was amazing! She took her time and made sure I was not in any discomfort. When she was done with my lashes she explained how I should care for them. However when I got in my car a few lashes fell within 5 minutes. I had called back and Aliya apologized and set me up again to get my lashes fixed. This place is great! When you walk in and be greeted with a smile and encouragement, like how Aliya does....it definitely makes you want to come back! I definitely recommend this place! read more

I highly recommend this place, they have the nicest technicians ever, the environment is just perfect. I got my lashes done by kathryn, honestly she's great and very nice. Her work is just amazing I got no allergic reaction, they look beautiful, and the most important thing is I was so comfortable while she was getting them done for me. I have no idea how this place has such high reviews. First, let me start off by saying I have had eyelash extensions for 6 years now. I had an AMAZING lash stylist, but recently moved here from Europe and sadly had to find a new stylist as I can not live without my lash extensions. I have NEVER had any kind of bad experience with lash extensions and I even completely remove them every 6 months to check how my natural lashes are doing. I take very good care of my extensions and my regular refills are around 4-5 weeks. I researched my available options, read all the great reviews on yelp and went here to fill in my eyelash extensions and was COMPLETELY unsatisfied. First off, I was a new client there and yet the stylist didn't bother asking me any questions about my preference of shape, length or style that I would like. She didn't ask me if I am sensitive to regular glue, or if I have any allergies or wear contacts, literally nothing. I thought that maybe she is a total pro and she could tell what she needs to do by looking at the extensions I already have and that's why she wasn't asking anything. I was completely wrong! The shape was nothing like what I had on, the thickness of the lashes were so thick and she glued the lashes onto my skin and not on my lashes. The lashes were rubbing onto my skin and at times onto my eyes that they hurt. The lashes stayed on for a week after all the painful rubbing and scratching and when they came off, my lashes were completely ruined. My natural lashes had become stubs. It took me 3 months of not wearing make up around my eyes and applying castor oil 2 times a day religiously to get the health of my lashes almost back to normal. I am horrified that this place exists and that it has such good ratings. read more

She navigated me through the whole process and was very mindful of how I was doing. I love this studio! The technicians are all so great! I've had my lashes done by many different girls and my lashes are perfection every time. They are so gentle and take really good care to make sure there is no discomfort. I travel from Chicago just to come to this studio because the quality and service is outstanding. Shirley the office manager is so sweet she always helps me book my next appointment and reminds me to get my punch on my loyalty card. After 5 fills the 6th one is free. I love Chicago Lashes and everyone who works there. I like all the receptionists too. They always listen to my stories and also help give me advice about other beauty services too. Aliya was especially helpful several times. She made some suggestions that really helped me. Although I don't have to get my lashes touched up too frequently I actually go in more often because they are so friendly there and I use it as a self care day. I appreciate all the girls there. All the lash experts are good. It's just a mater of what you like. I've never had a problem and I get a lot of compliments on my lashes. It means a lot because I work in the acting and modeling industry and it feels great to get compliments on my lashes form big directors, like Mario Van Peebles on Empire. I had never even heard of eyelash extensions until very recently, but since I'm extremely lazy with makeup, I figured I'd try them! I was really nervous throughout the entire 1.5 hour appointment, but after I opened my eyes, I was so impressed! Giselle gave me really beautiful, natural-looking but noticeable eyelashes, and I don't even have to wear mascara with them! I'll definitely be returning to have her do them again. LOVE them! She was a total sweetheart and made me feel comfortable the entire time. She gave me a volume set with a cat eye look and I was so happy with the turn out. I've been to Chicago Lashes (Skokie) three times now. The first two times were for fill ins. And just yesterday I had a full set. The last two times I've had some sort of reaction to the lashes. First time I could feel the fake lashes "growing out" just after a week of having them on. After my most recent appt. my left eye has been extremely irritated. I have done nothing different and can only assume some how it's because of the lashes as the burning sensation is the same when it sometimes stings during application. It's disappointing because I paid $120 for a full set and my left eye is bothered and red from irritation. I've seen Moon all three times. She's super sweet, nice and pretty meticulous besides a couple times she's hurt me during application overall the service and what you pay is just ok. The salon appears clean and well kept. The last three times I called I was able to be seen right away within a day or two. read more

I started getting my lashes done about a year ago at a different salon, and ended up switching to Chicago Lashes in Skokie just based on their location. I'm really glad that I switched. Their pricing is amazing, and they offer great package deals (3 fills for 150). They also offer a punch card, so every 6th fill is free! I've had my lashes filled by about 5 different ladies there, and they all do a good job. Bambi and Julie are my go to's, but everyone there knows what they are doing. I would say that my only criticisms are 1. The space is small, and you are basically sitting in 1 small room with some other beds, not very private. Not a huge deal. 2. The appointments often start a little late. They are usually pretty booked, so I suspect that if someone starts running late, it affects your appointment. It's generally only a few minutes, but I've had a couple appointments over 15 minutes late, and when they only book you for a 1 hour fill, it can make a difference. Still 5 stars for me though, the quality of their fills is great! read more
