Really happy with my nails and the overall experience at this nail salon! The owner is extremely friendly and attentive. They are so careful and precise with your nails. Their prices are incredibly reasonable. I love that this business is a Latino run salon! How cool! To write an unbiased review, I did not reveal that I too, am Latino. The few times they spoke Spanish, they never spoke a bad word about a customer and that meant a lot to me. I appreciate how slowly and delicately they removed my dip nails as to not ruin my natural nails. I sent over my mom who was really impressed and very excited to try them out. I was a first time customer and now a last time customer. I had some gel removed and had my nails cut down and a no chip manicure that last exactly 3 days. The nail technician I had did not speak English nor it seemed did she have a lot of experience doing nails. Their color choice is outstanding, and Jane, who is the lead aesthetician, always has great recommendations and runs the salon with organization and humor! I am a one-color person, but the artistic nails I've seen others get are nothing less than spectacular! The lady was rude and said she wouldn't recommend just fixing the nail without a full manicure. I was confused and asked why???? I stopped going to see Jane a while back. Her and her bf are just money hungry. At first they're super nice, anything tu get you in the door. After that it's just about money and time. Between the constant rescheduling and price changes I had enough. They say they have their prices posted when you first come in. But when you're done and it's time to ring up, they charge whatever they want. But the real reason I stopped going there is because of how unsanitary and disgusting that place is. Glitter all over the place and there's never any other choice of pink/nude for the pink & white ombre. Just this unrealistic Barbie bubble gum pink that doesn't suit POC. Was in the area with my sister so we called and asked for an appointment late notice. They were nice enough to squeeze us in. The setting was so tranquil I almost fell asleep on the pedicure chair! My sister and I usually come here . The quality of the work have gone down. My nails usually last more than 3 weeks, the acrylic start lifting after a week. My no chip pedicure last a week. On the top of that the nail tech cut me with the scrubing stone, I have to go to urgent care for infections. My sister no chip didn't last either. The color was not clean properly on the fingers. I left in tears due to the lack of professionalism. The actual girl who did my nails was nice but didn't know how to do a manicure. It looked like my 5 year old niece did my nails. The nail tech did ask Jane if there was something wrong with nailpolish but Jane said no its fine when obviously it wasn't. Jane proved she is a racist because she was chatting and laughing with all her caucasian customers but was beyond rude to me and not even caring about the fact that her rudeness made me cry for a service i paid for. The other owner Jane is a nice person who does great nails but has to learn who to work well with customers!! Shop is clean. The ladies there are nice. My pedicure was mediocre. The nails look good but the bottom of my feet were not properly scrubbed. They were dry and rough. My no-chip sucked. I got the no chip for a special event I am supposed to be attending for the following week. 3 days after I got the no chip, they started chipping! I love Janet and the crew at Charming Nails. I came into the place once after a terrible day at work and I had an amazing manicure/pedicure. Now I go their 1-2 times a month for their services. The women are very professional and friendly. I have never heard them saying anything inappropriate about other people's ethnicity. They are great and making room to serve you if you call ahead. The color selection is amazing and everything is very clean and professional. My one gripe is that the no chip manicures only last about a week or 10 days (at the most) and I feel disappointed paying for a no chip and it not ever really lasting a long time, so I'll stick to the standard mani/pedi at Charming nails. New ownership. They doubled the price on EVERYTHING. I go to a very high end salon for eyelash tint and eyebrow tint. TOGETHER its 30 bucks. If you go to this NEW OWNERSHIP you'll pay over 70. Only one lady does nails so you can't get in. I went in for hand no chip. Not only was it 40 bucks! My nails were filed so crooked, I had to redo them.
