When he finished I went to check the piano and noticed all the buzzing notes were the same. No improvement. I asked him kindly if he could please adjust this one note in particular that is buzzing very loudly on my brand new Kawai grand and he just dismissed me saying maybe next time as he walked out and left me checking the piano without a care. He just walked out of our home as I was checking the piano. Didn't even give me a few minutes to check out the piano. Never in my 20 years owning pianos and having them tuned two to three times a year did I experience a tuner not give me a chance to check out the piano or even show him or her what's wrong with it. He just walked out without a care after lying in the beginning of the tune up that he would take the time to check my concerns. My wife and I were very disappointed with his attitude and his work. I would never have him come back here. Not even for free.

I discovered Gary's service while I was Christmas shopping at Sam Ash for my daughters. They had his business cards sitting on the counter, and I noticed that it read "Piano Tuning & Repair" which I thought was ideal. I asked the salesman there and he said that everyone liked Gary's work, and he came highly recommended. The first time he came over he not only expertly tuned the piano, but also fixed two bad keys on the spot for a reasonable charge. That was about 5 years ago and he has done our tuning and service ever since. Once you meet him you will instantly know that a) he is professional - easy to schedule and always on time, b) he is extremely knowledgeable and exudes confidence c) he is honest and he's not just looking to make a fast buck off of you.
