Called Chicago Towing to haul my mechanic's tool chest during a recent move. The driver was on-time, confident about what needed to be done, and meticulous when loading / unloading and strapping down the tool chest (see the pictures). I really appreciate the work completed since I've never had to move the tool chest before so I was nervous about damage during the move. If it were possible that I could give Chicago Towing 10 stars, I would. You simply don't find this caliber of service in Chicago--anywhere. My car has sat idle in my building's parking garage, collecting dust since before the pandemic began--meaning since 2018. In those six years, I've been vainly searching for one towing company in the city that appeared even remotely like they wanted my business. The experience has ranged from abrasive phone dispatchers who obviously hated their jobs, to not having drivers or trucks available, being too busy or not having certain tools on their trucks (i.e. air compressors), to not answering the phone at all or wanting to charge your credit card in advance of showing up. Chicago towing is the exception, and they are exceptional. This was the absolute best, most professional and most pleasing experience with a tow company ever--especially if you get a chance to work with Robert (do yourself a favor and ask for him by name). After General Motors was unable to repair whatever was wrong with my General Motors engine a few years back -- and charged me over $500 for it -- I phoned Chicago Towing this week to see if I could just get my car started to get some servicing before this winter sets in. They called me to confirm, texted me to confirm, then the driver Robert texted me to confirm again and provided his precise ETA. He showed up on time, knew exactly what he was talking about and had my vehicle running in less than five minutes. He also gave me about another ten minutes of good, knowledgeable, no-nonsense advice and counsel about my car, the payment process was seamless and he even made sure I was parked straight before leaving. These guys actually deserve to have Chicago be a part of their name. World-class service in a world-class city; extremely rare in the towing business. Chicago 24 hour towing was extremely easy to reach and schedule with. They scheduled a towing service to ensure my car would get to the dealerships in time for my appointment. My car would not start after a dinner party. Thought it was the FOB battery and couldn't open the car doors. When I called to request service at a specific time (and not right away since I had to get to work and decided to use Uber), there were no problems and it was incredibly easy to schedule. This is a good company. I needed a flat tire changed. They sent me a text when the driver was dispatched and got there and got the job done. The person who answered the phone was really nice and was on top of it. Sometimes when you call some of these companies they are confused, rude, communication between dispatch and drivers is bad, etc. I felt this owner knows how to run a business. Adrian L. Was the driver who picked up my car today. Long story short my exhaust center bracket broke on the skyway and I made it union station area with it scraping on the street the entire time. My insurance reaches our Chicago Towing and within 30 minutes of my phone call speaking to dispatch Adrian showed up. He was extremely polite, respectful, funny and genuinely nice guy. He asked me exactly where I wanted my car dropped off and what I wanted him to do. He called me when he arrived to my house, called me when he was dropping the car to make sure he put it where I wanted it to be and left my key where I asked him. Our car broke down yesterday (Friday - 2/21/2020) while I was traveling and my wife called a couple of different towing companies. Chicago towing was one of them, but the price seemed a little high so we decided to go with a different towing service. However, the Chicago towing company employee, Emil, then started calling my wife and sending her pictures of himself from his personal phone. We blocked his number and will be filing a report with the Illinois Department of Human Rights for Sexual Harassment against Chicago Towing on Monday. Will contact CPD as well if IDHR recommends it after calling them on Monday. read more

Very professional company. Fast response despite the current weather conditions. I called in and the man who answered the phone was professional and friendly. My car was stuck in the snow/ice in my alley thanks to some ruts left by the garbage trucks and I somehow managed to pull the plug for the fuel pump out when I was trying to rock it out myself. Robert was the tow truck driver who responded to me. When he got to me he told me he wouldn't be able to get down my alley because of how it's set up, but, he didn't let that stop him. Two previous tow companies saw the location and refused to even help. Robert helped me get the car started and into my garage. He was friendly and professional and had me out of the snow in a matter of minutes. Based on my experience I will definitely be keeping this company's information for future use and will recommend them to anyone that needs a tow. Do not use. I called and was told my tow would be there in less than 45 minutes. Waited and hour and called. Was then told sorry but will be another 35 minutes. Waited another hour and was told the driver will call me. After 2 hours and 15 minutes called and told them to forget it. Do not use this service. read more
