Absolutely do NOT use this service. We agreed on a price for a junk car, twice, and upon pick-up, they offered $150 less than what they offered over the phone. I strongly believe it was because my wife was there with the title, not me, because I'm the one who made the negotiation, and they thought they could take advantage. They suddenly claimed the offer was lowered because the car didn't have the original catalytic convertor, despite the fact that the very last thing we talked about on the phone was that I had the entire exhaust system replaced three months earlier. Even the mechanics at the shop where the car was stored were shocked at how unprofessional they were. My wife had to take the offer because she had no other option. Waffa responded to an ad for help starting a car I have. he made a sight unseen offer on the car. I negotiated down from what I wanted for it, he countered with a still low offer. He hadn't divulged his company name until I informed him that, no, I wasn't handing it over to a tow driver, e would have to come and sign the responsibility release for the state and sign the bill of sale and show ID. Oh, then he wrote a nasty letter to me; "You know what I think I think you have no car your just fucking with people It looks like you have nothing better to do Have a nice life" The e mail before this he finally divulged that he has this company and seemed desperate to get the car without showing up for his lowball offer. Cash 4 Junk are Liars!!! A Joke!!! Don't do business with them!!! I can't express the amount of disappointment I have in this business. The owner, which was rude in every conversation, stated an amount to purchase the vehicle for. He sent another driver to pick up the vehicle and pay my father for the 98' Astro van. As he met the driver and happily in agreement of the modest offer, the price was dropped in half stating reasons that were never addressed in our initial phone calls. Not only did they take advantage of a SENIOR CITIZEN at the time of the transaction, this company owner and employee lied. For what was found to be $130 extra dollars in their pocket, they decided to pull a fast one on a SENIOR CITIZEN. This is a low-life type of thing to do. When I called back on my father's behalf and expressed how taken advantage we felt, he hung up. Cash 4 Junk needs to close it's doors and never do business again. Moe assured me as long as everything was intact he was going to give me my estimate, but later said my muffler was replaced and not oem so he deducted 40%. He at first tried to have me mail him the signed title and everything and would at a later time send me a check. I didn't fall for it, but I'd stay away for sure not worth the headache. read more
