I haven't had a full eye exam in a long time. This was the best exam and experience I have had in years of wearing glasses. Dr. Eric Tseng and his assistant were the best. I will NEVER go to Vision works or America's Best ever again! Dr. Tseng was thorough and took his time to give me the best exam. He explained everything to my understanding. The assistant (I feel so bad because I don't remember her name) was so helpful and assisted me with my granddaughter so I could complete my eye tests. She was so sweet and caring which made me feel so very comfortable. My wait time was a bit long, but as I said, this was my very first visit. So it's hard to say if that regularly happens. This is a review of my 2019 office visit. As always my visits are never rushed and Dr. Tseng is just awesome! I walk through the door for an exam and glasses and walk out feeling informed and knowledgeable about my eye care needs. I cannot say enough about my Optometrist, to me he's the best! The extra steps he takes to make sure my prescription is correct and his nutrition suggestions are always so appreciated. Finally had a chance to meet his wife which is also an Optometrist and she was just as friendly and delightful. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. Well, now that I owe my eye sight to Dr. Tseng, I think the least I can do is write a glowing review! I went in this week thinking I'd scratched my eye. Nope! Thankfully, Dr. Tseng knew immediately that I was dealing with an emergency and sent me straight to a retinal surgeon. If he hadn't, I might have lost some vision or worse. I was impressed on my first few visits when he did more than the routine eye exam. He really looked at the health of my eyes and recommended eye drops and better contacts. I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Tseng and his staff. My eye exam was thorough and we took our time with some elements -- I never felt rushed or like I was putting him out. As a result, I left with greater understanding about my personal eye health. I was getting a prescription to order glasses online, and Dr. Tseng gently suggested I consider their frames. I wasn't budging, but I didn't feel pressure from him, either. From what I understand, they have a wide array of frames available, so they can certainly meet needs on that end. horrible horrible place... ordered glasses 12/19... still not in... and now we're told... they were lost and we should call our insurance company... we didn't bring the prescription to our insurance company... glasses were paid for and not produced! and they never called us... we always had to call them and discover one excuse after the other. read more

The Chicagoland eye associates staff is HORRENDOUS. I brought in a pair of my own frames which were sent out for prescription lens. Two weeks later I was told the frames were melted. I ask for the frames to be returned 2 weeks later... Nothing. I inquired about the frames and immediately the young lady at the front desk was nasty and rude needless to say that conversation did not go well FOR HER. I purchased these frames in Hawaii and despite them being melted and the young lady having no real understanding of what happened exactly or the process to follow I was very patient up to the point of the disrespectful tone she set in our conversation.
