    Osmanthus + orange

Finally got to try this place out recently after waiting a bit for the hype to die down. Spoiler alert, the hype did not die down. We came in around 11:45 on a Monday and they were packed; all the tables were taken, and many others were waiting near the entrance. A friend of mine had found out I was heading here and highly encouraged me to order online ahead of time to save time and also asked me to pick up her order as well. I ended up picking up my order (2 drinks) and hers (6 drinks) with no hassle. Both of our orders were promptly ready by the time I went in. With a quick friendly exchange and order confirmation, our orders were packed up with care in multiple bags for easy transportation. For my order, we ordered an osmanthus tea + passion fruit with konjac jelly with perfect sugar, and an osmanthus tea + orange with grass jelly with less sugar. Both drinks were very light and refreshing. Even at perfect sugar, it was not too sweet. You could really tell their tea, and ingredients were made with the utmost care and were of high quality. Initially, I was skeptical about trying this place out because tea in general is a hit or a miss for me for feeling after effects, but the tea I tried was not too strong. This place is a bit of a drive for me, but I will definitely come again when I find myself in the area.

This was an amazing place! I loved being able to watch the workers make all of the drinks; carefully measuring and brewing the tea and then placing the drinks into cute little containers that you can carry like a bag! The green milk tea tasted delicious and the boba was the perfect amount of chewy and flavorful! I won't lie, there was a bit of a wait and it was quite busy BUT you are paying for a QUALITY drink. I will be back with friends and probably too many times!

I had a late lunch in the area over the weekend and realized how close I was to Chicha Sanchen so I decided to stop by around 4:30 PM. The place was busy with plenty of customers waiting for their drink orders. Although there were a few tables, they were all taken. Fortunately, their waiting area is pretty spacious. I placed my order at the self-serve kiosk and chose one bubble milk tea with 50% sugar and one classic fruit tea with original sugar. I was then given an ETA of 74 minutes! I asked another customer waiting how long she had been waiting and she said 30 minutes and received her order shortly after so I decided to stick around. Just a little over 30 minutes later, my number was finally called. The drinks were tasty, and I definitely appreciate the quality ingredients, especially the tea and boba. However, I don't see myself going out of my way to return. Pro-tip: order online ahead of time!

Finally came back and was actually able to order some drinks. I came by with friends last night and it was not busy. We ordered three drinks. 1. Volcano bubble tea 2. Orange lemon pouchong tea 3. Honey lemon green tea We placed our orders on the kiosks so there was little to no interaction with the workers. When our drinks were ready, our number was called out. The inside is clean and spacious. The three drinks were all really good and refreshing - perfect for the hot afternoon.

I had a really great experience here! My friends and I came by around 1pm during the week and there was no line! The inside is very bright, clean and modern. There was an ordering kiosk, but Samantha took our orders at the counter. I liked how simple and straightforward the menu was. They were giving out samples of their Honey Osmanthus Oolong tea and if I hadn't been craving milk tea I definitely would have ordered that tea! Our drinks were ready pretty quickly. The drinks come with a rope to carry it on. I really enjoyed my drink. I would definitely come back here.

Chicha San Chen now has a location in AZ! If you know about this popular boba tea chain, you would know that it is award winning and known for its high quality ingredients. This location is by the Chandler Fashion Center in a plaza with a solid amount of parking spots. Inside, they have their signature modern interior with a couple self-ordering kiosk machines. I got the Orange Lemon Pouchong Tea and wifey got the Osmanthus Mango. We really enjoyed the flavors in both drinks and it was the perfect beverage to cool down from the heat!

I'm so happy that we have Chicha Sanchen in Arizona. I love that they brew tea as soon as we order and everything's fresh. Got to try Key lime pie tea and Osmanthus Oolong with boba and cream, their tea is definitely so good and it's a good mix of tea and milk or cream if you like boba. Also boba is chewy! Yet I went back again and their boba seemed to be a bit hard, but I know they just opened and everyone's learning.

Very interesting boba spot! You pick your tea, flavor, and topping or can choose from one of their signature drinks. I choose the cassia black tea with cream and taro balls at a light sweetness and less ice. It was pretty busy when I went on Saturday afternoon so it took a while for drinks to be ready. The drinks have a nice presentation with a twine rope to carry them. My drink was delicious and I really liked the taro balls. They have tea tastings at certain times but I didn't get to experience it this visit.

I came with my friend on a Saturday afternoon and was so surprised there was no line. While we were looking at the menu, Chloe greeted us and helped us with our order. She gave us a sample of the black tea with cream, which was amazing and exactly what my friend needed. I wasn't sure what to get, but she recommended the mango oolong tea and I loved it! She also let us try the fresh boba and glass jelly and explained that they make the boba fresh. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. The store was clean and had a cute aesthetic. I also loved the adorable cup holder that holds the straw and really adds to the presentation. I can't wait to come back for the tea tasting!

For the price and wait and the taste of the tea, I didn't think it was anything special. It's one of those places where you go just to say you've tried it. Service was nice but it does take long if it's your first time as they explain their concert and give a sample. I was able to sample the Cassia Black Milk Tea. I enjoyed it and asked for that along with the mousse on top. I should have paid more attention and ordered it properly but I forgot to mention milk. By the time we got our drinks, left and then tried it, I realized I got just the Cassia Black Tea with mousse. It was so disappointing. I didn't feel like coming back to get it corrected because I didn't want to wait. We ended up going to 85 degrees bakery and got a caramel milk tea with sea salt foam for less cost and it tasted delicious. I wouldn't come back again.

Pro-tip: If you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend coming here just yet while they are still training people. If you order online, the estimated pick up time is absurdly off for example I ordered at 3:16 PM and the estimated pick up was 4:44 PM but then I got a text at 3:46 PM that it was ready. Highlights: I've visited Chi Cha in Vegas, so it was exciting to see an opening in Chandler. The café is really pretty, spacious, has lots of seating and smells delicious. They have a fair amount of tea options to choose from along with toppings and additional added flavors. Personally, I prefer their teas like jasmine tea, putong mountain tea, honey osmanthus oolong tea over the milk teas. I love the option of adding konjac jelly. Lowlights: The service is really slow as they are going through what I assume is training struggles. It takes almost 20 to 30 minutes for your drink to be made even though they have a bunch of workers dedicated to only making drinks. They give too many toppings for the amount of tea that you get. Their milk teas are too diluted and milky tasting for me - I've tried with cream and milk, and I prefer milk teas from other places that have a stronger tea flavor.

7.10.26 - had today off to get some last minute things done before my trip and stopped here on my way home. The place is bigger than I expected. Very open space and bright inside. To the right, there is a tea tasting station with little dishes filled with different teas you can smell. Tea tasting has scheduled times so check their times for the next one! Next to it is a wall of items for sale. On the left is where you order and can watch them make your drink. There were already some people waiting for their drinks. All tables were filled but luckily no line when ordering, so it was quick for me! Two employees at the counter helped and they were very knowledgeable about the flavors of the different teas and explained the process as well. I was debating between the black teas. Wasn't sure what Cassia was and she told me it smells like vanilla. They have samples containers you can smell. She was right! The Cassia smelled sweet so I went for this one and chose the cream with taro ball. My drink was ready in about 8 mins and it was delicious! Perfect level of sweetness for me and the taro ball was so soft and chewy. I only wish it was a larger size for the price. $8 + $1 tip. Curious how the mousse option tastes so I'll have to try that another time.

(soft opening at time of review) This has been a highly anticipated opening after it was announced a few months ago and I think they picked a pretty good location being next to Chandler mall and just a mile or 2 from the ranch 99 plaza. I have had friends explain they waited around 1-1:45 hours on the first day and my visit was quite quick surprisingly. I went in with no line, and while the place itself was busy, the drinks didn't take too long and I was out in less than 30 minutes. The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable when it comes to explaining their teas and recommendations and offered an orange and lemon tea to sample. I can definitely see this place staying quite busy for awhile but don't let it deter you from going. The tea quality is good, the interior is clean and I enjoy their tea tasting.

So far I've tried the oolong roasted milk tea and the classic milk tea. For toppings, I've tried regular boba and sago. There are usually a couple gals behind the counter, watching the screen while you place your order ... waiting patiently as you peruse their many choices, trying to decide which tea to order. They are super friendly and very helpful. This visit we ordered the ginger chai, vanilla bean cream latte. I preferred the ginger chai, but my sister thought hers was betters. Our second visit we ordered the orange bianco, along with the cream earl grey milk teas. Both also wonderful. Today we ordered the raspberry chocolate milk tea and cocoa cream matcha. I may sound like a broken record, but yes, they were wonderful. It is NOT a boba tea shop; it was, but no longer. The croffles are also great. Some other cafes bog down their croffles with toppings and sugar, but here they put just the right amount. They're not cloyingly sweet. I highly recommend getting the sugar on the regular croffle. It caramelizes and adds a pretty sheen and crunch without taking away from the croissant base. It is very clean and quiet inside during less busy hours. TeaMakers has a medium-small amount of seating featuring both hard table tops and a comfy couch sitting area.
