I've been to Polba Tea a few times and I really like it! I've been on a strawberry matcha kick lately, especially when I'm craving something sweet. Polba Tea's strawberry matcha with boba hits the spot everytime. The sweetness is customizable and I usually opt for 50% which is still sweet enough for my taste. I also enjoy their cheese fries, which is powdered cheese and the fried tofu. Both make for great snacks and the portions are generous enough to share or a meal for one. Service is fast and friendly. I'm not a fan of boba, but I love tea and coffee. So far everything I have had here has been pretty spot on and very good. Some of the drinks can't be modified much because they just can't, so those ones are a little sweet sometimes- but if you get extra ice, it kind of helps out. Service is always super good and friendly; they are always ready to help or answer questions. Decor is pretty neat in here, you can tell there is thought that went into putting things places. After a long morning of shopping, my friend and I were in desperate need of pick me up treat(s). We couldn't decide what to get so we stopped at Polba since they have a wide variety of menu options. I was craving a tart but creamy drink so I ordered their Raspberry Matcha and OH it was delicious!! I really like the fact that you can edit the level of sweetness of your drink. I tend to lean more towards sweet drinks so I went with 75% but 50% would've been good too! I added sea salt foam because I've been on this sea salt phase lol but I don't think it really enhanced the drink as it's already perfectly delicious on it's own. I noticed they also sell the drink everyone goes crazy for at Community Goods in LA. Matcha & Latte Einspanner. The next time I stop by I def want to try & see if it's as good as CG (which i'm sure it will be). We also ordered a savory + sweet snack. Popcorn chicken & Biscoff Waffle. Colorful, creative, and cozy I visited Polba Tea for the first time and I'm already excited to come back. The shop is super cute and colorful, with a fun, welcoming atmosphere. They have a self-ordering screen, which made the process smooth and easy. I really appreciate that their drinks aren't overly sweet -- when I chose 25% sweetness, it actually tasted like 25%! A lot of places say that, but few get it right. Their menu is creative and vibrant, with lots of unique drink combinations and fun toppings I haven't seen elsewhere. It's definitely a place that puts thought into their offerings. Also, they stay open until 10 PM on Sundays, which is later than most tea shops around -- perfect for a late-night treat. My cousin informed me last week that this place now has the banana matcha drink so I made a stop here Saturday morning. At around 10:45am, it wasn't too busy but there were a few people in at the time. The place is cute and has some tables where you can chill or study at. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. I've been looking for a place with banana matcha. I realized after I saw the menu that it was banana toffee matcha and not banana pudding matcha. I still ordered it anyway though since that was closest to what I was looking for. The drink was good! It did have a stronger toffee taste than banana. Im not a huge boba or coffee fan. I rarely get boba cravings. Maybe I drank boba too much when I was young growing up in Hong Kong lol Anyways, this boba place is at the same plaza where my go- to Frys is! I've seen it but never tried! Came here with a group of friends a few nights ago and it was empty when we arrived. We weren't greeted when we walked in and the few employees working just looked at us. We placed our orders on the kiosk and sat down to wait for our drinks. Our drinks were: 1 Banana toffee matcha 1 Strawberry matcha 1 Oreo brown sugar milk tea 1 Caramel brulee brown sugar milk tea 1 Tiramisu milk tea 1 Strawberry croffle All our drinks came out at different times and by now the place was pretty busy. My caramel brulee milk tea was way too sweet for my liking and not enough ice was given. The ice melted fast and so it got warm quickly. The banana toffee matcha was plain and tasted just like milk, nothing else. The strawberry matcha was good and actually tasted like strawberry. The tiramisu milk tea had no unique flavor and tasted like pure milk. The Oreo brown sugar milk tea was ok - this one had a good amount of ice. My friend didn't like the croffle as he said it was too dry. Customer service was non existent as the employees were not friendly. Not sure if they were shy or just didn't want to be there. One of the best matcha's I've had here in Arizona! We got the Matcha Einspanner and the Banana Toffee Matcha, and they were both sooo delicious! Great matcha flavor and the color was nice and vibrant. My only critique would be that we were not greeted when we walked in. With this boba shop having a self serve kiosk, the employees do not interact with the customers much. It would've been nice to just hear a "hello!" or "welcome in!" upon entering. It makes a big difference. Other than that, I'm already planning a trip back here. They even offered a stamp card that gives a free drink after 10 stamps. I needed a Monday afternoon pick me up, and this place did the trick! I ordered the tiramisu coffee and added boba. It was delicious, the perfect amount of sweet, and the caffeine from the coffee definitely helped me get through the remainder of the day. The inside was nice, plenty of seating and even some games if you plan on hanging out for a while. They also had a self service cash register set up. The people working were all really nice. Inside, they have a nice modern setup with about 5-6 tables for seating. For their menu, they have a good selection of different milk tea, fruit tea, coffee, matcha, and slushie drinks. Wifey and I stopped by for some refreshments after our dinner and got the Wintermelon and the Classic Milk Tea. Both drinks hit the spot and were definitely not too overly sweet! The people in the shop were nice, my review is solely on the boba drink I ordered. I got the Thai tea with boba and egg pudding. The drink was so watered down I was very disappointed, especially when I saw the pictures before I ordered - a good Thai tea has a dark layer and a milk layer that creates the orange when mixed. This drink tasted like it was very watered down and the boba was also a bit rough and not very chewy. I can't believe they have a 4+ star rating, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. My son and I make it almost a mission to try all the boba spots close to our house. This place has been open for some time so we finally made it a couple weeks ago to try out their drinks. We ordered the brown sugar fresh milk with boba and a butterfly pea tea also with boba. My son ended up liking my drink more and his was just okay which makes sense why he stole mine. During the summer i love to stick to the refreshing teas over milk teas. Everything was okay. Just not sure if I'd return anytime soon. read more

CONS It's located in a dark side of a plaza, but it's well lit inside. There was a strange smell inside that I couldn't put a finger on. And the screens were so hard to read that I needed a paper menu to order. PROS The boba was decently priced for large size, and the roasted oolong milk tea was pretty good. I decided to stop by getting some drinks and food after stopping by the pharmacy. I would agree there was some kind of smell in the place. Their drinks are okay and the food is sub-par. My question to the owner: How are you able to charge the customer for these ridiculous prices? First of all, the workers closed the lid on these two snacks. I was pondering how small the portion size of these snacks were if they were already hiding the goods before getting to the table. I believe these snacks cost from $6.50 to $6.99 each. There needs to be more quality control on the food items. The popcorn chicken and french fries were a joke. I was served one full-sized chicken nugget with a bunch of small bottom-of-the-bag leftover nuggets. The portions of the french fries were meager as well. Stopped by for drinks and food and was very happy with everything! I really liked the Lychee Tea with lychee jelly. We also got Thai tea with crystal boba and Brown sugar boba fresh milk tea. I really liked that the drinks weren't super sweet! I even ordered another Lychee tea with lychee jelly to go for my honey (can confirm he also liked it!) For food, we ordered Grilled Pork and Egg roll Vermicelli noodles, Broken rice with grilled pork and fried egg and chicken wings. The flavor of the grilled pork is delicious. Finally a boba place that's less than 5 minutes away. We've only been here a few times and have only tried the strawberry and taro slush, but so far it's all been tasty. Vietnamese couple working together to make you smile outside and inside by making you tasty Boba drinks to satisfy the cravings you have for this devilish nectar drink! It is the little things, like only a 1/3 cup of small grade ice in your drink, so its cold but you actually get a decent quantity of beverage rather than 3/4 ice and very little drink, that makes you feel cheated by the $7 -$8 price. This shop the prices were great $4-$5 and good quantity with a real quality flavor drink and boba selection. I had regular boba in my Taro and crystal boba in the Red Guava butterfly Boba. Polba Tea, what a great spot. There's a lot of seating inside. The A/C is cool, the drinks are okay, and they serve food. I got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the Oreo Matcha Creme Brulee to try during their opening weekend and they were tasty. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was pretty and tasted standard to everywhere else but I was hoping the Oreo Matcha Creme Brulee would be like this place out in Las Vegas. It sadly fell short. I didn't really get creme brulee or Oreo. While Polba Tea is an excellent place to sit around and have drinks with friends, I don't think I'd go out of my way to stop in.
