5/30/26: this was our first visit. We have been back twice already. The environment is very chic and pristine, extremely well decorated. There are usually a couple gals behind the counter, watching the screen while you place your order ... waiting patiently as you peruse their many choices, trying to decide which tea to order. They are super friendly and very helpful. This visit we ordered the ginger chai, vanilla bean cream latte. I preferred the ginger chai, but my sister thought hers was betters. Our second visit we ordered the orange bianco, along with the cream earl grey milk teas. Both also wonderful. Today we ordered the raspberry chocolate milk tea and cocoa cream matcha. I may sound like a broken record, but yes, they were wonderful. It is NOT a boba tea shop; it was, but no longer. Incidentally, if you come the "back" way, entering off Warner vs Dobson, the signage on the back side still says Ni Hao. :-) Since we've already visited them three times, I think it's pretty clear we would highly recommend their teas. read more

TeaMakers & Company is a fantastic new addition to the locally owned small tea shops in the area. They're a Korean owned cafe and definitely exude that Korean cafe style in their operations, decor, and menu. Every detail is thoughtfully curated and you'll feel comforted and welcomed by the employees. They have fantastic tea quality! If you love tea, you will not be disappointed. The croffles are also great. Some other cafes bog down their croffles with toppings and sugar, but here they put just the right amount. They're not cloyingly sweet. I highly recommend getting the sugar on the regular croffle. It caramelizes and adds a pretty sheen and crunch without taking away from the croissant base. It is very clean and quiet inside during less busy hours. TeaMakers has a medium-small amount of seating featuring both hard table tops and a comfy couch sitting area. With their current setup, you can fit a group of up to 4 at their biggest tables. TeaMakers & Company excels in everything already despite being so newly opened. I truly do not have any constructive criticism to give at this time, and I've been there multiple times already. read more

I found this spot on Yelp while I was looking for matcha in the Chandler area. TeaMakers is located in a pretty northern part of Chandler. The spot is very clean and tidy. There are a couple tables for studying or hanging around. I was debating on getting the strawberry matcha or pistachio matcha. I ended up getting the strawberry one since that is typically my go to when I get matcha at a new spot. The matcha wasn't overly sweet and had a nice strong tea flavor. My gripe is that sometimes, the matcha just tastes sweet and doesn't have the complex tea notes. This paired really well with the strawberry portion of the latte. It had the right amount of sweetness. I will definitely back to try their other matchas as well as milk teas. The staff here was really friendly, too. Parking-wise, there are a ton of spots in the plaza. read more

We recently visited this tea shop and had a wonderful experience. We ordered a medium (16oz) Iced Black Sesame Latte with oatmilk for $6.45 and a medium Pistachio Cream Latte with oatmilk for $7.45. Ordering is done through a self-service kiosk, but it's set up so the staff on the other side can immediately see your order and start preparing your drink, which makes the process smooth and efficient. The gentleman working there was very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is open and bright, though not very large, giving it a cozy yet airy feel. When our drinks came out, they truly looked like beautifully crafted works of art--we almost didn't want to drink them. Thankfully, we did, because the flavors were fantastic! We went to TeaMakers 2x during our weekend trip to Chandler which speaks volume to our experience. The cafe is spotless and the menu is creative and entirely homemade! I am a huge coffee snob and my black sesame latte was probably the best latte I've had in years. The espresso was super smooth and the all their syrups and cold foams are homemade. They also make drinks on a scale so you know you are getting a consistent product with just the right balance of ingredients. I really enjoyed that attention to detail. My friend and I decided to check this place out after seeing it on Instagram and being intrigued by the croffle. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was moderately busy with 1-2 other people in there. I had to try the black sesame latte, as this is not something I see offered everywhere. This one was decent but not the best one I've ever had. The black sesame flavor was not as prominent as I would have liked it to be. The star was definitely the croffle! I finally found a place that makes banana pudding matcha! I've been searching for a place in AZ that makes this and stumbled across it by accident. This place took over Ni Hao Tea. The owners seem like a sweet older couple. Both greeted me as I walked in. It was pretty dead for Saturday (5pm) but at least I was able to order right away. Originally came in here to get the pistachio matcha but spotted the banana pudding matcha when the owner scrolled to the matcha section on the tablet for me. Of course I had to get the banana one instead! It was delicious but pricey!! I believe it came out to $10.50 with oat milk. They use quality matcha though. I tried this tea shop before, when it was under a previous name so I was curious to go back and see what the newer menu was like. My family has been enjoying TeaMakers and Company since it opened. I seriously am always recommending this place. The inside is very clean and relaxing and is a very good place to meet friends or study. I've placed pickup orders more times than I can count, and have also met up with friends and studied there a few times. The drinks are all so amazing!! My family and I have tried at least half of the menu and everything I've tried has been a new favorite. I am always torn between trying something new or getting the orange bianco milk tea, pistachio matcha, or Seoul coffee. They are all very balanced and not overly sweet and you can taste how much care for quality and detail was put into building all of these drinks. They also have options like lactose-free whole milk, oat milk, and 2%. The owner and staff are also always very friendly and always happy to help. Last July they had a banana pudding matcha that was really good (pictured here next to my usual pistachio matcha), and they have had a really good and unique variety of seasonal drinks in the past. I've also tried some of the croffles and those are also very good. I love trying new cafes but the quality and balance of TeaMakers and Company almost always wins in my opinion. read more

I remember coming to this location for a Yelp event awhile back when Ni Hao Boba Tea was in this space and really enjoyed the iced Hokkaido milk boba I got here. I came back tonight and was hoping I might find the Hokkaido style milk boba here but sadly, this place does not offer that style of milk tea. Nor do they have any boba here. This place changed ownership back in November and when I did let the woman working tonight know that I remember it was Ni Hao prior, she told me the place had changed. She then added that the place is now better quality. That left a funny feeling for me. Like why throw the previous company's reputation under the bus? I guess she was trying to impress to me they have even better items. I guess I can be the judge of that right? Their milk tea offerings are limited and you have less than 5 choices. The woman working suggested the Creamy Earl Grey milk tea, so I agreed. I asked her if I could get it less sweet and she says they always make it less sweet. I'm like ok. Second funny feeling emerged. You order on a digital screen and they do offer a hot option but when you choose medium, the order says either 12 or 16 or. Not sure which size I got. There were 2 customers in front of me and I waited a few minutes for my drink. The lady was nice and brought the drink to me and then proceeded to instruct me to drink from the slanted curve side of the cup, as the lid was shaped with a tall curved lip that has a small hole. I wish she hasn't done that because the Earl Grey hot milk tea burned the top of my lip. I wondered if she realized how hot the tea was. So that was 3rd weird feeling of my experience. But despite the weird interaction, what I will say is that the Earl Grey milk tea (hot) was delicious and one of the best I ever had, so that was great. But, I didn't enjoy interacting with this woman at all and now have to go nurse my burnt top lip. I may give this place another chance but hoping I don't have to talk to this woman when I come back.. read more

Did you know that tea is the second most consumed beverage in the World? Can you guess what is the first most consumed beverage is? It's water, of course! For our first visit, we came to this place as the Golden Trio (take that, Harry Potter!) and had a lovely time filled with black sesame lattes, salted caramel cream earl grey milk teas, some strawberry matcha, and a croffle to share. While not my favorite black sesame latte in the valley, the salted caramel cream earl grey milk tea is where it's at. No surprise though as I'm a big citrus/bergamot fan and earl grey is usually my tea of choice. The croffle was a delight. It's sweet, crispy, and the candied sugar shell on the exterior was a lovely added texture. On the second visit, a duo of us shared a croffle, the Seoul coffee, and a strawberries and cream smoothie. I think the croffle had been sitting for a couple hours since the candied crunch from the first time wasn't present this second time. As for my strawberries & cream smoothie, it was a nice drink. The Seoul coffee felt more like a milk drink with a hint of coffee. I usually like my coffee strong so this was a let down. I'm enjoying Teamakers & Company. It's a great spot to catch up with friends and loved ones at. Give this place a go! I'll be trying the Jasmine milk tea and the orange bianco milk tea next time. read more

Korean matcha is lacking for me. Pistachio matcha 3.5/5 Cocoa Cream Matcha 2/5. Lactose milk is now extra:( . I like matcha to be more bold and umami but these taste a bit light for us. Legend has it that in 2737 BC, Emperor Shen Nong discovered tea when leaves from a wild tree blew into his pot of boiling water. It's a good thing a wild mushroom didn't blow into his cup or he might have been poisoned. Either way, I'm glad I'm on the safer side of food history. A trio of us came here on a weekday to see the new owners of this place. It was a great decision. The place was clean, spacious, and not too much decor had been adjusted minus some new knick knacks here and the removal of their Instagram wall. I ordered the salted caramel earl grey milk tea and had some of the black sesame latte as well. I really enjoyed the salted caramel earl grey milk tea and recommend it to those who enjoy the rich flavor that salted caramel brings. The croffle was also a nice treat. No further notes. TeaMakers is a lovely coffee & tea cafe with delicious tea and always friendly service! My daughter absolutely loves the croffles here and Miss Jess is always so wonderful to her! My daughter frequently asks to go to TeaMakers and is excited (though shy) to see her! My wife and I love the drinks here and they are so good that we cannot really get drinks from other shops any more. They are delicate and not overly sweet with a fantastic depth of flavor. My wife loves the Creamy Earl Gray and Chocolate Raspberry. I'm a big fan of the Matcha Cloud -- so refreshing and a lovely taste. Best tea I've had in Phoenix. Can tell it's loose leaf tea. I ordered the orange milk tea and the strawberry matcha latte for the missus (she's the real tea aficionado). Off the bat, very clean milk tea flavor. The tea flavor comes and stays even on the aftertaste. Throughout the sip though you taste the milk and the orange which complements the tea flavor very well. Really enjoyed it. The matcha wow. Real strawberry like puree on the bottom? Doesn't taste artificial. The matcha is a higher quality than I'm used to getting matcha drinks in AZ. Pretty solid boba spot conveniently located across the street from Lee Lee Market. After looking over the menu, we decided to order the fresh taro milk tea with twenty five percent sweetness and the honey milk tea with lychee jelly, regular sweetness. You could tell the taro milk tea was of higher quality. However, even though it was twenty five percent sweetness, it was still a bit too sweet for our preferences. The honey milk tea on the other hand, wasn't as sweet as I had feared it would be, and I thought the lychee jelly complimented it well. Service was fast and friendly. A Tucson-based Boba Place that opened up a location in Chandler! Always love seeing small businesses expand. Drinks i've tried here: - Taro Milk Tea - different from other taro drinks as they use real mash taro that's made daily - Matcha Latte - just sweet enough and has a pretty distinct taste. I find that some Matcha Lattes/Milk Teas are a little bland sometimes, but this one isn't - Jasmine Milk Tea with Strawberry Cream - One of my favorite drinks here. The strawberry cream is delicious and makes this drink a bit more floral. - Strawberry Matcha Latte - I wasn't sure how i'd feel about strawberry puree in my matcha, but this was surprisingly good! The location is modern and clean and they have board games. The boba has been mostly consistent. They also sometimes host events here and i love that! So happy this place exists! TeaMakers stands out by using real tea, getting the sweetness level just right, and using quality ingredients (including no high fructose corn syrup). I tried two drinks: the raspberry chocolate and matcha strawberry. Both were absolutely delicious, a good mix of flavors that didn't at all taste artificial. I also had the croffle which was the perfect mix of a crunchy exterior and chewy inside. It's obvious how much the owners care about the craft of tea-making (hence the name!), based on my conversation with them. The service was lovely and the environment cozy and comforting, with jazz playing in the background. Great spot to either meet up with a friend or get some work done.
