Surprisingly dirty on the inside. Food all over the floor and under the tables. Several of the tables had crumbs and sauce all over them. Someone was wiping the tables but it looked like they were wiping the crumbs directly on the floor. The kitchen area looked clean so we still ordered but got it to go. Food delivery was quick and everything was at the right temperature but the cashier acted put out when we asked for sauce and the chocolate milk for the kids meal. The worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been too. The drive thru line is a nightmare and has no order. Asked 2 workers what line to get in and both times was told something different. The workers do not try to get food out in a hurry. Just take their time, talk to each other while people are waiting. Card readers dont work and their customer service was not like most Chick-fil-A. We had Chick-fil-A catered to our office yesterday from the McArthur Dr. Jackson St. Location in Alexandria, LA. The lady that brought the food was rude. She never made eye contact with anyone speaking to her, she was 45 minutes late with the delivery and never apologized for it or offered an explanation, she didn't set up any food, she didn't do the regular Chick-fil-A setup (this doesn't bother me but if you have a job you should do it all correctly so that you don't miss steps in future deliveries). I work in a very busy Dr's office and our physicians had to go to other clinics to see patients starting at 12:30 so they waited as long as they could then just had to leave without the lunch we were depending on from Chick-fil-A. The lady didn't bring any plates, napkins, forks, or cups. When I called about the plates, forks, napkins, and cups, I asked for a manager and the young lady that answered the phone said that you have to specifically ask for the "lunch setup" and if you don't use the words "lunch setup" you don't get the napkins, plates, cups, and forks. The crazy thing is that we order Chick-fil-A pretty regularly and I never specifically ask for "lunch setup" and we still get the plates, forks, cups, and napkins. We didn't even get mints!!!! What the heck is going on???!!! To top off the whole situation, there was a dead gross bug on my apple (I will post a pic of it) we asked for extra polynesian sauce and there wasn't extra (that's our favorites). The bug is easy to look past because I'm sure that no one deliberately put it in there but the customer service really sucked. read more

This chick fil a used to be great, you could go in and order your food to warm smiles and friendly staff. Those days are long gone, like everything else in Alexandria it has just gradually went downhill. The last several times I have been in, the service has not been good, the staff and managers act like they don't want to be there, and for a restaurant that prides itself on service, I'm no longer impressed. Tonight (7/25/19) was the final straw. I go in about 8pm, they weren't busy at all. I ordered 2 meals, received 2 drinks, and got the dressing for one of my meals which was a wrap. I waited for about 15/20 minutes and after I watched 3 people get their food who had ordered after me I asked the manager on duty very politely if she could check on my order. After bringing me 1 meal that was ready and just sitting there, I told her that I should have a wrap meal also, then she asked for my receipt and said that I wasn't charged for it, I said that I was given 2 drinks, the dressing for the wrap, and that if I wasn't charged for it I would pay for it. So she asked the cashier who rang me up if he charged me for it and told him to "fix it" because I wasn't getting it for free. Luckily the cashier realized his mistake and brought me a wrap, I didn't get the fries but I was not about to wait any longer for those. Mr Duncan is very nice and runs a tight ship but when the responsible managers and owners aren't at work the service is all around horrible. On a side note I've watched this particular manager give away free stuff to her kids, and friends on more than one occasion. I'll be going to the mall location from now on unfortunately. read more

Usually a good place but today is the service and cleanliness were lacking. When we were in line, there were four people standing around behind the counter with their back to us and only one person taking orders. We had to ask them to take our order. Wow thought I was at MacDonalds, I spoke to 3 people and not 1 "my pleasure". I placed my order through drive through and it was not correct. My drink was off all carbonated water with very little coke, I gave it back to the girl at the window and told her she needed to correct the fountain , of course she said I don't drink soda so what you want me to do....... when I told her my order was not correct she added the fries and charged me separate which was higher than the Meal cost. This is the poorest Chic-fil-A I've been to. They are under staffed and mismanaged. The place was dirty. It was 1:45 on a Monday. One of the employees was refilling the sweet tea on the customer side of the counter. She spilled sticky sweet tea all over the counter, floor and credit card machine. We're stuck with a poorly ran Chick-fil-a. The Jackson Street location in Alexandria has been a disappointment since its opening. Most of their problems are with order accuracy and speed of service. On previous visits, my orders typically have a mistake. Like no cheese on my biscuit sandwich, getting breakfast tots when I ordered a cookie crumble yogurt, or even a drink mistake. Today really took the cake. I decided to use my Chick-fil-a app and order breakfast. I ordered my food at 10:02, took the five minute drive to the restaurant and got there around 10:10. The drive thru line was long, but I had selected drive thru as my pick up option. So we wait and wait and wait. I finally get to the window to pick up my order and it is 10:39. I get my one drink, then the other, then the drive thru attendant talks to her co-workers for a minute. I'm still waiting on another drink. I tell her that I am waiting on another drink. She hands it to me. Then while she's asking which condiments I need and as I'm speaking, a kid getting trash interrupts me to say something funny to her. I tell them I've waited in Drive their for over 27 minutes, she laughs, he laughs. So I said, yeah real funny huh? He walks away laughing, she understands that this is a problem. The other workers are in a frenzy. It takes two managers to get my food out to me. Mind you, there is a line behind me as well. I pull away from the drive thru at 10:47. I get home and my food is incorrect. I call and speak to someone, don't even know who. They take my name and ask me to keep my receipt and they'll replace my sandwich on the next visit. I ask why service was so poor today. She said it's because of the Dixie Softball World Series in town. I hang up and eat my wrong sandwich for breakfast. My kids food was fine. We did not get any straws, one napkin for three meals and no spoon for a yogurt. This location needs help in a bad way. read more

Try though you might, I really don't think you can find a better fast food joint than this Chick-fil-a. My friends and I come in here probably at least twice a month if not once a week, and we've never had poor service, a bad experience, or even seen a rude employee. Everyone's really nice and always has a smile when they talk to you. And the managers are usually out in the actual store area watching the floor. They even run food sometimes. What can I say? I love this place. It's a fast food place that doesn't smell like grease and the workers treat you like royalty! They support so many local events and schools so you know your money is going to a good cause. I won homecoming queen in high school and I went with the homecoming court to CFA on the day of our parade and a manager came out and told us that our meals were free! Those spontaneous nice gestures and good customer service has made me a loyal customer. Not to mention they have amazing soft serve and their food is SO freaking good. Eat more chicken!!! read more

The staff could put just a little bit more of a smile on their faces (not all of them seemed unhappy, but most), but other then that the food was delicious as always! DO NOT use for catering! The worst chick-Fil-A I have ever dealt with. I'm a pharmaceutical sales rep and ordered catering for an office to be delivered at 11:00. They were over an hour late and never called to say they were running late and were not apologetic at all! I called at 11:30 to ask where they were and they put me on hold for 10 minutes and then said they would be there soon....and didn't arrive until 30 minutes later. Absolutely unacceptable! When they did arrive there was no sense of urgency or apology. There also wasn't enough food - I ordered salad for 30 people and they brought 12 dressing packets. When doing a catering lunch for an office it's unacceptable to be late, much less an hour late. When staff have an hour lunch break and have to wait the entire hour on food to get there, it's absolutely unacceptable. I went to chick fil a on friday morning. I sit down behide one of the employee. And the employee try to clock in and the owner told him to not clock in until the truck gets there. Thats plain out rude and ugly. The owner should change her attuide and try her employees better. And if she doesnt, I'm not coming back to this chick fil a, I will go to the one in the mall.
