This Chick-fil-A is great, especially if you have children as they have a play area in the back of the restaurant and it is a hit if you have kids under 10 I'd say. The chicken is always great here and I prefer the honey mustard sauce over most others, but everyone seems to love the Chick-fil-A sauce. read more

This chick fil a never disappoints! We have started driving from Hendersonville to this location because the food is always fresh and the employees are very competent. Chick fil A really doesn't need to be reviewed. The food is consistently good and the draft is consistently friendly. Top tier for fast food. The reason I give 3 stars is because of the crowds and cost. Last time we went, my wife and I got meal deals and our daughter got a kids meal. We also got 2 milkshakes. The total was over $40. I never really write a review unless the service has just been horrid. I have supported this business since they opened. It has gone downhill terribly. They rarely get my order right. Always weird excuses for why they don't. All my items are never in the bag. So disappointing. I've spoken with the manager more than I care to. I have only gotten their chicken sandwich a few times, but for whatever reason, the bun it's on is always and I do mean always stale! I don't know why that is and maybe none of the other customers mind the stale bread . Highly disappointed in Chick Fil A tonight. During the time where sanitation is needed most, hair was in my food! I ordered a chicken sandwich + bacon. Unwrapped the sandwich, took a bite. As I take my bite, I feel hair in my mouth. Long black hair. I remove the top bun and see a string of long black hair on the bun. Disgusted is an understatement. I'm more appalled by the fact that while the Coronavirus is going around, this happens. Usually when I come to this chick-fil-A I go through the drive through, but this time I decided to dine in. Long story short, the floors were so greasy I almost slipped and fell. Went through the drive-through for a breakfast meal today. The line is normally long and that was the case today as well. I have no complaint with regard to the line. However, the order-taking regimen was sorely lacking. Two lanes were open and customers have the expectation that orders would be taken for each lane in an alternate fashion. Today, that failed. Several customers were serviced from one lane while we waited for the order-taker to ask for our order through the speaker. Further, when she finally came on, she had the temerity to ask if our order had been taken yet. She had no idea what was going on in the lines outside, but I didn't show my frustration and said "not yet" and then gave her my order. Once I gave my order and made it to the transaction window and saw inside the building, it became clear that there was a group of ill-trained employees moving around with pace but not with efficiency or effective service for customers. What is wrong with our Chick-fil-A on Henderson Road in South Asheville? That is the question that I have asked myself for about five years. I travel a lot on business and visit Chick-fil-A every chance I get. Why is it that every time I come home and go to my local Chick-fil-A either the food or the service Just is not what I've come to expect for my Chick-fil-A. This afternoon I ordered a 12 count nugget. When I open the box I saw the smallest 12 pieces of chicken I've ever seen. On top of that it was cold. Of course since they're only drive-through I didn't find this out till I got well down the road and did not feel like turning around and coming back. Something needs to change at this Chick-fil-A. Why is it that every other one from Georgia to South Carolina all the way up to West Virginia that I've experienced is fantastic. This one just flat out is not. This chick fila is the worst! I avoid this one at all cost but sometimes it's closer if I'm out this way anyways. I always regret it. The drive though line is horrendous. Super slow. It's not the employees taking the orders, it's the window. A lot of the employees here need to learn how to smile. The restaurant inside is filthy. Every time I've been in there the tables are all disgusting and the floors always super greasy. They don't keep their condiments stocked and the high chairs are so gross. I love Chic-fil-a so this is not a food quality review. My wife and I thought we would get a milk shake and a ice dream with a sandwich as this location was close by. After waiting in line to finally give our drive-thru order, we were informed (9:30pm) that they had no ice dream or shakes available for the night. This is infuriating to me because this happens often. Why are ice cream machines always seem to be down toward the evening? BECAUSE THEY CLEAN THEM BEFORE CLOSING! So by pulling this 'McDonald's ploy' we, as customers, can't order what we came for at this location. Please keep your service and food options until CLOSING TIME!!! She didn't make eye contact with us and absolutely never smiled. Looks like she is ready for the weekend because she was completely checked out. I expect much better customer service than this from a chick fil a. She also failed to ask me if I wanted any sauces and simply walked away after handing us our drinks. This morning I ordered a catering platter. Unfortunately I put in the wrong date. When I arrived I was greeted with the epitome of customer service. The manager informed me that unfortunately their computer had the wrong date. Rather than inform me that I was dumb and put in the wrong date she said it in a way that didn't make me look bad. She then went out of her way to get the 40 minis made and given to me. Outstanding customer service with a customer blunder. This operation is top notch. Thank you. This CFL is all around excellent. Most of the time I go there mid-morning to do laptop work. The coffee is really good. Of course like most CFL's lunch is very busy. But they do a good job and I have never had a problem. The franchise owner Larry Meadows has an excellent management team. Oh and one more thing the background music is quiet not overpowering like most other fast food restaurants. read more

This is by far the worst Chick-fil-a I have ever been to. The drive-thru takes an average of 15 minutes to order and pull up to the window. I have let one too many times with the wrong order, and been furious. If you go inside the wait it just as long! I don't understand how you can have a full staff behind the counter and still not have your act together. This location is the dirtiest Chick-Fil-A I have ever gone into. Maybe the dirtiest fast food place I've ever been to. We eat here frequently but recently we have started opting for going through the drive through and eating it in our car or taking it home. The employees "clean" tables with wipes-- they look at the tables to spot grease or crumbs and ONLY wipe those spots. When my family had a diner in a gas station growing up I would wipe the tables clean for quarters to play the arcade games in the store, and if I cleaned tables like these kids I never would have received my quarters (and our sanitation rating wouldn't have always been a 98-99). I've been tempted to ask them the last time they did a deep clean but I'm afraid of the answer. To top it off there's always 2-3 managers working there when we come in and the store is in that state. Slow or busy, it's always gag-worthy how dirty it is. I'm convinced there is some sort of vortex around this Chick-Fil-A that keeps anyone in the store from learning how to clean or hiring anyone who knows how to wipe down a table in a restaurant. Food is fine except sometimes the chicken on the chicken sandwiches is extremely thick, undercooked, and juicy. This is the south and we like our fried chicken but no one wants fried chicken that's juicing as much as a middle-aged woman on a new juicing diet. read more
