Happened to be in the area so I tried this location. I ordered a gallon of unsweetened tea for the lake. I waited about 20 minutes to the side and noticed the 4-5 people behind me got their food first. I stood and stood while nobody asked me if I was waiting on something. I finally asked the teller that I ordered from if he could check on my order. He walked around the side grabbed the tea that had been sitting there for a while and apologized. I understand it's a busy location but there were 12 people behind that counter, not one asked me if I had been helped. Won't be back to this location again. read more

I've had nothing but great experiences from this Chick-fil-A location and I've probably been there over 100 times. I did, however, notice this last time that all of our chicken sandwiches were definitively much thinner than normal. We had 6 sandwiches so this was not a one-off. I think it sucks what our economy is doing to restaurants but my recommendation for Chick-fil-A is to keep the quality and raise the prices. If the sandwiches are thin again I just won't go anymore and that would be a shame. read more

This location is really great. They have clean restrooms and the food comes out fairly quickly. If you dine-in they bring your food to your table. I thought that was pretty nice. The employees here mess around a lot and gossip amongst one another a LOT but they are kids so it is what it is. Their counter tops are really clean and their condiments are well-organized. They got my order wrong but fixed it right away so that was ok, too. If you are getting drive-thru, I would check my order if I were you, though. read more

Making your money at the Mall doesn't make me wanna bust your doors down. In fact, I didn't want to eat here. I had my opportunities and other choices in the area. I didn't object when the choice was made. First, the Chicken Biscuit is one of my favorite breakfasts of all time. Add in a honey packet and you've got a gold medal. Do I frequent the place? Within the last year, twice. Little Rooster was with me so I ordered his first kiddo meal. One strip with my choice of side. The fruit cup cut into small pieces was a treat for my son. He ate roughly a fourth of one strip with maybe 5 bites of broken up waffle fry. I had the Grilled Club combo. The sammy made the grade with the seasoning on the chicken; some points off for circular bacon. So why the 4 star nod? They stock plastic baby place mats inside the restaurant. They also offer free Cheerios in small plastic containers sitting in plain view at the register for your child. The sub $3 kids meal with real healty-ish choices for my son is enough for my endorsement. I've been impressed with the chicken biscuit for years. I worked 10 minutes down the road for several years and I was never let down by this location. I may never spend this many stars on a fast food chain again; but for today and this location its worth it read more

Terrible service. Order messed up and a very combative manager. Seemed to want to tell me the ticket on the order had 3 entrees. When I explained I never ordered 3, he told me I did. When I said I don't even see 3 entrees on the receipt and that I didn't I was told I was being argumentative... when I asked him to show me where it says it, he told me he suddenly never said that and it's no longer on the receipt. With the mindset of just wanting to leave, I asked what I needed to do just to get the order I paid for and he just kept being very odd and angry. Even condescending. Was very angry when I went thru the drive thru and my order was wrong after I drove 20 min back to work and it wasn't what I ordered. My ticket was correct too! I ordered a southwest salad with chicken strips and creamy salsa. My friend wanted the same with Avacado ranch. They gave me a nasty fruit salad with grilled chicken with creamy salsa.... Ate here today while in Austin. This location always gets so packed! Plus we came at lunch time. I am more than impressed with the service and of course the food. It's chick-fil-A what can I say? It's always tasty and painfully addictive! But when reviewing a specific location apart of a larger corporation this will certainly be mostly based on the service. I was only encouraged to do this because of a recent change which I'm unsure is a corporate change or a store based change. Since the reopening the workers now request a name for the order which isn't necessarily out of the ordinary. But i believe the workers are being trained to use our names to be more personal with their customers. In theory this sounds great. But am I the only one who feels a little unmoved, or even uncomfortable? I'm just trying to get my morning chicken minis not feel like suddenly I'm recognized. Of course the workers are super nice. But this specific change has almost made me feel a need to avoid chic-fil-a recently. Personal opinion and not against the business or the food which is why I won't give this a bad rating. read more

I hate writting bad reviews but unfortunately this chick-fil-a has failed me a few to many time. Orderes two spicy chicken sandwiches and a medium sized fry. When I arrived home found that they had given me normal chicken sandwiches. Not really a big issue because all of there sandwiches are amazing but the thing that upset me was the fries. 6 frys in a medium order. I get it waffle fries are bigger but common, you can see how empty it looks. This location has on almost every occasion messed up my order. Its a shame cause I love chick-fil-a and but it for my friends all the time. I needed something light and asked for wraps which were delicious, my husband's shared his fries and were really good too. Not sure why the customer service here is so bad, its amazing at any other location. We called in an online order and made it in line by 10:30, but when the employee came to our car it was 10:31, and she tells us they stop at 10:30 and wouldn't be serving us our order and we can have lunch instead. I have never had a bad experience at a Chick-fil-A. But today was my first. No order takers at drive thru. One finally walks up and proceeds to chastise me on what I did wrong, no apologies, just chewing me out saying to place orders with them, and then denying when we told them they weren't there. Really, we sat there for 3 minutes with no one coming up to us in drive thru lane. No one around. Then, half our order in the bags was missing. Had to drive back to retrieve it. Again with the denying...This time denying that anything was missing. (We gave them our bag back to prove it.) Just admit or apologize if the customer feels like there was an issue... Whatever you think of Chick-Fil-A's corporate philosophy, I'll give them this--they probably would have handled the oil spill fiasco completely differently, and their marketing strategies are truly Blessed. Good for them. Incidentally, I think He would be vegan. But if this is what we're getting in the afterlife, then it's time to pig out in this one. No matter how you dress it up, dry chicken is dry chicken. What's up with that? Do people really prefer it that way? I couldn't tell what made the Spicy Chicken spicy--it might as well have been some injection from a laboratory solution labeled "heat." It comes out of nowhere, and pretty much overpowers everything else. The best thing about the carrot-raisin and cole slaw sides was using them as cooling mounds of gelatinous goo for intermittent tongue soothing. I'll end this and attempt to delay my inevitable journey to the hot place by pointing out this 620 S location is one very nice fast-food restaurant, bright and clean with faux flowers on every table, a huge and happy indoor kiddy playscape, and a nicely groomed staff all smiley and eager to please. Baked Lays are a good thing, and Coke Zero rocks. If you're avoiding high-fructose corn syrup, you need to be careful of what you order in here, and if you're low-carbing, ask for lettuce wraps and go nuts with the various chicken incarnations. As I'm driving down the street passing my 16 month old kid waffle fries, chugging on a peppermint shake, and scarfing down an "original chicken sandwhich", one thought comes to mind...damn I wished I owned a few of these places! They must rake in the dough!!! The car lines at this location is enough to scare you away at a glance, but I decided to brave the exhaust fumes and give it a go. To my suprise, it was very efficient and fast with the use of both an order and pick-up window. Sometimes they even have a real person in the parking lot taking the orders!!! Efficiency at its best! But honestly, that milkshake was delish...The holidays are always an excuse for me to indulge so a peppermint shake was the ticket. This is a great place to bring your kids since there is a playscape inside and kids love the chicken bits which are white meat and not parts like the golden arches serve. I don't normally feel the need to rate a fast food place but this is two thumbs up! read more

THEY ALWAYS TRY TO FIX THE ISSUE AND FOR THAT I AM GRATEFUL! they always offer to replace them with fresh fries but the problem is not lack of freshness... they just aren't cooked all the way? Maybe? I don't know if the fryer needs to be turned up a few notches. I've even asked for them extra crispy and they are brown and soggy. idk what is going on that only this location always has soggy fries. Great fast food with a very friendly staff. Moved from the greater NYC area 6 months ago, so the cleanliness, freshness of the food, and exceptionally pleasant staff roped me right in. Their spicy chicken sandwich is a must at least weekly. Their salad is quite extensive (romaine lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, croutons, and sunflower seeds) all for $2.15. Breakfast is a nice surprise as well. All in all, nice selection, pretty healthy for fast food, and quick service. read more

I usually love Chick-fil-a but it is very unfortunate that the order pickup for online orders takes longer than going through the drive through a lot of times. It is almost as if they make the order once you arrive. Why should I order it in advance when it still takes as long if not longer? Just not a great system. Also, today I was picking up food and there were 5 cashiers in the window messing around. There was an incredibly long line but there wasnt a single car at the pickup window for a long time. Usually chick-fil-a is known for how fast they are and their great customer service. I am just not seeing this at this location. read more
