I figured I could have begged for management but since we were the only table in the restaurant with about 6 others coming in to order while we're there it was known that we were more and more unhappy as the service droned on. Management didn't come to see if we were enjoying since this was our first time, when I asked for a substitute I was charged anyway and I'd begun to read the other reviews and saw that management has a completely defensive position when addressing customers who have opinions so I saw that as pointless contact (I.e. the restaurant is supposed to be Caribbean food and even though some dishes are named "Haitian" I notice the owner reminds it's not Haitian or Jamaican...confusing to me) We paid. He gave up and handed the phone to a third person. I don't know who he was, but his Asian accent was so thick he was barely intelligible. We both got combos (half sandwich and half salad). We agreed that the salads were still larger than we expected even at half-size. I got some variant of a BLT as the sandwich, and liked it. The salad (primarily spinach with other interesting veggies) was good. I usually like balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The version here was really strong and slightly bitter. I'd go with some other dressing if I came back. My wife liked her meal (she had different sandwich and salad variants as well as a strawberry-based dressing that she liked).
