Fun fact: Guthrie's was my college foodie favorite in Tallahassee, FL. Seeing this location on our route (when we stopped for gas) gave me all the nostalgia feels and we had to pull over, STAT! The hubs had never heard of Guthrie's, but graciously accompanied me on my trip down memory lane as I squealed with glee, and enjoyed it as well. Although it's new (3 years old)-- this Guthrie's is the cleanest I've ever seen a fast food restaurant in my life. I pray they keep that up! The manager took our order and was so warm and friendly. True to form, I ordered a "Gut box" for old times' sake, and it was as perfect as it was circa 2003! The chicken tenders were fantastically golden. The buttery toast had that crispiness (not soggy from steam in the box like the other guys) to it that I love. Those fries were perfection as well.
