Country home cooking at its best. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I ordered the catfish and it was obvious that it was fresh and hand battered. My wife had the country fried steak with gravy. I tasted the gravy and almost asked my wife ti share it was so good. The menu is always changing so you can eat there often and not get bored with the food. Oh, and the portions make sure you don't leave hungry. It is great for groups with the cozy tables and the family style service. This was our first visit but it became a weekly treat. read more

I'm stuffed. Ate way too much because it's so good and they don't skimp. They want you to be fed. Veggies are seasoned, cooked perfectly and taste like grandma's. Good cornbread. Country fried steak was good. The chicken and dressing was insane. So, freaking good. I was good with the veggies, that would have brought me back. That chicken and dressing, almost made me stay. The $12.95 price includes tea and dessert of the day which was peach cobbler with or without ice cream It was better than Cracker Barrel and Mary Mac's which says a lot! Steal of a deal and so good! I've been eagerly waiting for this restaurant to open and even checked a few times to see when they would. This place stands out because it's a buffet with a unique twist--they serve the entrées and sides on a lazy Susan, and you have the option to eat as much as you want with refills included. Dessert and drinks are also part of the deal. While waiting, they offer cornbread and biscuits, which is a nice touch. However, I was disappointed with the food. Most of the sides were cold, and the only hot item on the plate was the fried chicken. The chicken was juicy, lightly breaded, and seasoned to standard. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were cold, and the refill was watery. We ordered two refills of mac and cheese, but it was cold every time. The peach cobbler was a ok it was better than most places. It had a cakey texture, wasn't slimy, and came with a scoop of ice cream on top. The pricing was on the higher side--$73 for three people. The base cost was $70, but there's a card fee of nearly $4. Additionally, they don't allow to-go plates. I asked for one because I didn't want to waste the leftover food, but the waitress explained that they don't allow it, citing concerns that customers might ask for extra food to take home. While I understand the policy, I wasn't asking for more food--just a way to save what we already had so it wouldn't waste as we saw the other waitresses dump the remaining food in the trash. This restaurant has potential, but my experience didn't meet expectations. With some improvements, it could be great. read more

My first time going with December 13th 2025. I've placed three orders never was offered the peach cobbler need drinks that was supposedly coming with the meal I paid extra for the peach cobbler one order and it was so small I asked for extra and they gave me all crust or bread. Never gave me my drinks order desserts with the orders I don't think that I will ever go back there. I paid $40 and some change but that those three orders and no drinks or dessert That's a laugh within itself. And I never got a receipt for my order so that's another negative. read more
