It's always a little intimidating coming here and seeing the lines all the way up the block , however their Drive thru lines with 50 cars in them moves wayyyyyy faster than a McDonald's drive Thru with only 5 cars in the line. The line moved quickly , and with the heat still at its high. The staff are always out there moving fast and very friendly too. I ordered the 30 piece nugget meal and when we got home, my daughter actually counted them and we had a 40 piece instead of 30. I'd like to say that it may have been an honest mistake. This Chick-Fil-A is always super busy but they're always prepared. Long car lines are no match for this business. They have lots of pleasant, competent and customer service focused staff members ready to take take your order and provide it for you in a super fast manner... and did I mention that they always ask what condiments you want and your order is always correct?!! I really appreciate that there's multiple extended covered drive through spaces so that no one has to get wet to order. The Cedar Hill location gets a lot of business from local teachers, and yet they won't honor educators for this one day. I talked to the on-site director who claimed the store had already donated sandwiches to schools that had requested. They have honored this every prior year. What gives? Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast foot spots. The food is decent and not too terribly priced. I paid about $16 for a kids meal and adult grilled chicken nugget meal combo. The service is usually exceptional. The servers constantly walk around and refill drinks, get napkins, get condiments, clean floors etc. My only complaint is the lack of seating near the children's play area. The back of the restaurant has a ton of empty tables that are not being occupied, but the tables near the children park are few. I'm not going to sit far away from my child playing. He's THREE. He needs to be in my sight at all times. I literally stood for 10 minutes holding my purse, two meals, and two drinks while my kid played because there were not any open seats nearby and the manager would not allow me to sit inside the play area with my food. I told him I wouldn't eat the food inside; I would just sit, but he said that food and drinks are not allowed in the play area. He offered me a table in the back near the restroom and I told him that I would not leave my child out of my sight. Two kind ladies watched/overheard me speaking to the manager and allowed me to sit with them so I could keep my son in sight. I thanked them for their kindness and watched as my kid played for about 30 minutes. If I could offer any suggestions to this establishment, I would recommend they rearrange their seating to accommodate for families. I am a rule follower so I complied with their restaurant rules but had I known, I wouldn't have had my kid start playing before he ate. Just a heads up for any parents in the future... On April 7th, I placed a mobile delivery order Chick-fil-A. Before completing the order there is a disclaimer that states: Your order and payment will be processed by DoorDash, and a dasher will deliver the order to your door. Don't worry, you will still receive Chick-fil-A One points for your purchase and be able to redeem Rewards with this order. However, upon completion of the order, I realized that the point were never applied to my account. I contacted the store that processed the order(#799) and spoke with an Ashley, that stated since the order was completed via DoorDash, I was not eligible to receive points for the order. She apologized and provided me the number to Chick-fil-A Care. Once I called the number provided, I spoke with a Nicky and a Christy(supervisor) who agreed with the previous person that I spoke with. I advised each of them of the disclaimer on the Chick-fil-A app that states otherwise, they told me that I was incorrect and not eligible for points. I am extremely disappointed by this experience. We have been going here for years, and have recently noticed how things have improved even more over time. Since they revamped the restaurant and drive through area, the service is quicker, but still accurate and extremely friendly! I love how the staff is always helpful, friendly, and appreciative... even when they have been standing outside in all types of weather helping the numerous drive-through customers. I've seen adult employees and other businesses who don't even act as professional and courteous as these employees do. The system Chick-fil-A has going now, is extremely effective. This was a mere mistake that ended hideously. I don't frequent this store often. The day 7/3 I returned to this location for lunch right around 11 AM. I pull in the drive thru area unlike the previous set up or the set up at any location that I've visited, their drive thru is divided and shared with mobile online orders. With that being said me being the first person in line I drove into the first lane closer to building. Unfortunately, for me it was the mobile order lane. Now before I could get an understanding after no one coming to take my order. I let my window down and ask if someone was working over in this lane. The rep responded "that's for mobile order you have to drive around" I looked back and now there's a line (a crowd). I asked is there someway you could just take my order I don't have the time to go back and stand in that line. Answer "No" you have to go around. I requested a manager, ask him the same question answer "No", Asked for his manager "Aisla" companies by another manager answered the same question "No." I drove around parked in nearest parking space got out of my truck and was met with a gang of Chick Fil A manager and teammates yelling "you Can't park here, You can't Park Here" there were parking spaces and I am in a hurry under the circumstances, so I took pictures of parking spaces, got in my truck went further around and there were more parking spaces. I then got out proceeded with my point of business which I had desired with chick-fil-a. My thoughts, customer enter into the improper lane to order drive thru, in most cases people Monday- Friday are on some sort of business engagement. So time is of the essence, I would have explained the matter, honored customers request to proceed with order, making it clear that customer understood the mistake that was made! Chic fil bae -- before all else. No other way to describe my feelings about chic. I love food; good food and chic fil a seems to always make it's way to the top of my cravings list. This location seems to stay busy, but the service is impeccable. The drive thru line is constantly moving and they usually keep 3-4 people outside to take orders and pay as you make your way around the building to pick up your order. Everyone is engaging, happy and kind. I have a theory about happy workers. It's not very profound, but it seems to me that if all of the employees are happy it is a pretty good indicator that the company, management and behind the scenes workings are also worthy of a 5 star review. read more
