Vila Brazil - Cedar Hill is a MUST TRY! From the moment I walked in, the staff was so attentive and polite. The service alone made the experience feel welcoming right away. Now the food... where do I even start? There was a station with so many different options ranging from veggies, starches, breads, and more. There was honestly so much that I couldn't try everything, but my favorites were the empanadas, the rice with beef, and the meatballs. They also had a salad section that I thoroughly enjoyed. There were so many fresh options to choose from. Next up...the stars of the show: The Meats. Once I turned that card over to begin, there was no stopping! Every meat that came around was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. OMGGG the parmesan chicken was delicious and juicy. There were still several meats I didn't get to try because there was just so much food. I also tried a few things that were new to me, like the Brazilian cheese, grilled pineapple, and a Brazilian margarita. That Brazilian cheese was sooo good that I can't even fully explain the taste. It almost reminded me of a pancake with syrup, just less sweet. The grilled pineapple put me in the mind of a cobbler but with a grilled twist. Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday with his parents and the ambiance, staff, food, and service was all excellent. I loved that the were understanding about my three year old having a meltdown! I enjoyed the pasta and other chicken dishes that were available besides the meat. I only gave it a four star because it felt a little rushed the guys with the meat sometimes would ask once and if you didn't reply fast enough they'll walk away. But everything else was really great and special, we came in on a weeknight so maybe that's why they seemed rushed?. Anyway, if you are in the area definitely check them out! read more

My wife and I dined here for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The interior gives a warm and relaxing feel with comfortable atmosphere. Everything looked very clean. We were greeted at the door and seated with no waiting. Roy attended to our drinks and explained how serving worked (green / red). No sooner did we return from the salad/ hot bar and the proteins were presented. From lamb to steak and chicken and ribs they just kept coming. EVERYONE we came in contact with were very nice and hospitable. Always being asked if we needed anything. The salad and hot bar may have less choices then Brazilian BBQ but, Vila Brazil was perfect for celebrating our anniversary. If reservations are your thing, I suggest using the website. I called during the day and used the automated service (twice) but Did Not show a reservation when we arrived. Excellent service! Wonderful food! I highly recommend the spicy picanha! The meat melts in your mouth leaving behind a burst of flavor that overwhelms your senses! Had a great dining experience at Vila Brazil in Cedar Hill. The food was hot, fresh, and consistently well-prepared throughout our visit. The servers were attentive without being intrusive, and the gauchos came by frequently with a great variety of meats. When we requested specific cuts, they were brought out quickly, which we really appreciated. I also ordered a custom-made cocktail, and the bartender took the time to explain the recipe in detail--such a nice personal touch. The customer service was phenomenal. Never once did we have to ask for tables to be cleared or drinks to be refilled. The servers were so attentive and professional. And the food.... Yummmmmmm! Not one to leave negative reviews but our experience here last night was not good! Service started out good and then as it got towards closing it was like we were forgotten about. As soon as we sat down we asked for a wine list which they did not have. They just proceeded to list off wine types. We found one online and they let us know they didn't have any of those in the restaurant. We were still being open and asked if we could at least sample something which they did. From here we still had an open mind and were excited to eat. We've been to many Brazilian steakhouses and this one's meat selection did not have a variety and most meats were dry and overcooked. We also requested certain meats that took forever to bring out. Sometimes they would bring out meats and only serve some of our table even with green cards facing up. On top of all of this 3 of 4 people in our group woke up in the middle of the night throwing up and with stomach issues. Pretty sure we got food poisoning. We will not be going back!! read more

For dinner - We saw Rodizio swords with large hunks of lam, ribs, spicy beef, top sirloin, glistening fajita flank, tender spicy beef, Parmesan chicken, bacon chicken, chorizo, picanha, THE best roasted pineapple ! The market table has vegetarian options, fish and soo many things to try, it's a feast on its own. So well taken care of it made us feel like family. Never even an empty water glass. We chatted up the owner to find that that he grew up in Brazil and brings all his hometown flavors here to Cedar Hill. They offer *salad bar only, *weekend lunch special and are fantastic for groups.. we've already been back for *weekend lunch. The Food was very good. I'll give it a 4 and not five only bc the early rounds of the meat were on the well to well-done side of the cook. I prefer medium rare steak and the chicken was a bit overcooked on the first pass. I simply requested the meat at a different temp and they promptly brought out meat cooked to my preference. The buffet is significantly stocked with cold and hot options. Black bean stew "Feijoada" was excellent and it paired well w braised collard greens. The space was also redone from the previous tenants (Crab n Bar) and was concerned about the lingering "crabby" smell but that was not an issue.
