Cute place, ordered our food fine, 4 bucks for a fountain drink plus tax, 13 dollars for 2 pasta shells 14 for fettuccine, insane prices and insanely small portions. Cashier got annoyed when we asked for to-go boxes cost around 40 bucks in total for only 2 people. NOT vegan friendly at all, everything is made on the same grill, caused my vegetarian friend to get sick due to the meat residue in her own food. Needed a place for pick-up on Easter Sunday as we going to gather at my grandmother's assisted living dining hall. Mo's Italia Express had good reviews and was nearby so we gave it a try. We came away really impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. Good portion sizes for sure! Liked the Penne a la Vodka with mushroom, cherry tomato and Italian sausage. The Mrs had Shrimp Fra Diavolo with a little spice to the marinara, and my mother the Chicken Piccata. We all enjoyed our choices and took leftovers home for another meal. Prices are really reasonable as well. We called in the order and it was ready for pickup in about 20 minutes. Easy and fast process. We'll go again. read more

Went there with the family for lunch prior to doing some shopping and ordered a pepperoni pizza and spaghetti with meat sauce as well as the garlic bread knots and everything was fresh made and exceptionally delicious. YUM! Found this place on a whim and I LOVE IT! I have been hunting for good Italian for years since moving from NJ and I found this gem. We had a 4 cheese prosciutto pizza, shrimp fra diavolo and a chicken parm sub. All were fantastic! The pizza comes by the slice or by the pie, and it was enormous. Super flavorful, nice crust and quality toppings. $20 for a huge specialty pie. The chicken parm sub was huge and I loved it! Only $10. The sauce was so good with lots of chunky tomato snd basil, generous amount of freshly breaded cutlets and nice toasty bread. Highly recommend! Best one I have had in the last 7 years. The shrimp was generous and the sauce was nicely spiced. They do not have spaghetti but thin spaghetti similar to angel hair. I will absolutely be going back and can't wait to try the salads, other pastas and pizzas. The guys behind the counter were super friendly and helpful. Also, easy online ordering. read more

#1 Takeaway? GET THE TIRAMISU. It is probably the best Tiramisu I've had on this side of DFW. Regarding the food, I'd give it a solid 4/5. The Shrimp Fra Diavlo sauce was delicious and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The shrimp itself was pretty good (very juicy and well seasoned) but you only got 4 pieces so not necessarily worth the $$ every time.The shrimp still had the tail attached; I know, I know that's a nitpick, but I personally don't like tails attached in pasta dishes. The bread that comes with each pasta entree is just ok, so not necessarily worth it to me; I love LOVE bread in general, so I think it speaks to the quality that I would consider bypassing it to try their house vegetable medley next time. I've heard good things about the cheese bread and garlic knots, but both were extra and I didn't want a full order. Next time, I would consider getting the standard spaghetti but ask them to use the spicy marinara sauce! I also have heard good things about the Eggplant Parmesan, so I'd be interested in trying that out too. read more

It did not taste homemade.I mean it was not canned spaghetti meat sauce but the meat sauce did not taste completely homemade. I will definitely come back to this Italian restaurant. It was above my expectations. I had the best Stromboli's. My wife and mother in law ate Lasagna and love it. My son ate Spaghetti and Meatball and was surprise to see him finishing his plate. For a moment I thought I heard the angels singing Aaaaaaalleuia. The patio is elegant. The inside also is cozy. The staff is courteous, friendly and fast. My family had great experience talking with the manager, assistant manager and staff. Thank you Luis and Andre for an awesome service. Your restaurant is on top of my list above Olive Garden. You have a sound menu that caters to a variety of audience. If you want pasta with some kick to it, this is the place to go. We love Moe's Italia Express. It is the best Italian food restaurant in the area with excellent pasta dishes, pizza and sandwiches. Our favorite is Chicken Piccata and easily serves 2 generous portions so we only order 1 dish between us. Everything is hand-made and delicious and the service is very good. This is basically mall Italian food but it's good at that. We got calzone and a Philly cheesesteak and 2 drinks. It was $30 but they charged us a $1.50 charge for using a card. That did annoy me but it's whatever. They brought us the food and we enjoyed it, probably could have gone as high as 4. The cheesesteak was really big. It actually looks really nice inside but it was dirty, like no one sweeps or something. I probably wouldn't go back but mostly cause of the charge and cleanliness. read more
