Everytime I go - the food is always fresh and the line is never long. I've never had one issue going at any time of the day!

While up in charleston for some doctors appointments with my wife, we decided to grab a bite to eat. We had been there twice and each time although the food was hot and fresh, the drive through basically empty, they still had us waiting for over 5 minutes each time for 2 chicken sandwiches and 2 fries. Ordered on the app at 10 am, and headed to the store. I was a first-time app user. When I got to the store they told me they couldn't honor my order because it didn't start until 10 am. I've never had issues at this Chick-fil-a, despite all of the poor reviews. The drive-thru line is usually quick, my order is always correct, and the food has always come out warm and is consistent with the quality of other Chick-fil-a restaurants. However, the drive-thru line is incredibly small and poorly designed. The parking lot is also minuscule. On top of that, entering and leaving the restaurant is difficult since it is situated against a very busy road. In my experience, the best way to exit is to take a right at the drive thru line, take a right at the first stop sign you hit (about a block or two down) and take the light. I've never been inside this Chick-fil-a, so I can't speak to that. read more

I recently came back to this Chick-fil-A to pick up an order I placed through the online app. My order was accurate and ready on time. Every Chick-fil-A menu around here is the same, which is to say excellent. This Chick-fil-A location is very easy to get into and out of. The parking situation is well-suited to not interfere with the drive-through line. They often have 2 drive-through lines going simultaneously. Service is wonderful. read more

Chick fil A is usually spot on. My last 2 visits have soured me on this one. A week ago, I was in the dining room, and it seemed someone had mopped without rinsing. The entire floor was a slimy ice rink. When I nicely mentioned it to an employee, she stared at me blankly like I was speaking another language. Service was terrible. Slow. Not your typical Chick-fil-A. The wait for food was almost 30 minutes - yes 30 minutes. One person taking orders outside. Didn't seem to know the menu. When we got to the service window it looked like mass confusion. Person asked name and gave us the wrong order. The chicken soup was almost water. Had no chicken in it. The workers looked like they had no idea what to do. This is not easy for me to write, but the Chick-fil-A on Savannah Highway needs help. I have been to several chick-fil-A restaurants in different states with any issues. However, my husband returned home with a Cobb salad with no chicken and no cheese. We did request the bacon on the side but I'm baffled by the missing chicken and cheese. My wife and I don't often get fast food because it's usually disappointing and I usually end of having some associated guilt with eating poorly so I should have known better, but all of that was reinforced with our experience today. Some people consider Chick-fil-a a chicken restaurant, but they're really a sauce restaurant. The purpose of those little salty chicken crackers that come it that red box is primarily to deliver the sauce of your preference. Imagine my surprise when my $38 Uber eats order for 2 arrived with bone dry chicken nuggets and sandwiches without any of the sauces we ordered. Just imagine the thought process of someone grabbing a pack of dry nuggets off the heating rack and putting them in a bag without reflexively reaching for the sauces, or even looking at what sauces were ordered? Insanity. Is there a person in the world that eats dry chicken nuggets? To add insult to injury these nuggets were absolutely hammered, when pulled apart you can see every dry muscle fiber in the nugget, in retrospect I'm not sure even the missing sauces could have resurrected them. These were thrown away, what a waste. And as an aside can you Imagine eating those limp moist delivery French fries without the benefit of salvaging them with Chick-fil-A sauce? To add insult to injury this order was particularly off putting with too many of those weird end pieces of potato that aren't fully waffled. You know the ones that are slightly under cooked with more the consistency of a baked potato inside than a French fry. It's really quite the dichotomy of simultaneously hammering the chicken and under cooking the fries. In the end if the sauces we ordered were included I'm not even sure I'd think twice about all of this since my expectations are already so low. But lack of order accuracy in inexcusable. Do they not have anyone screening for order accuracy before the order leaves the restaurant? Just an absolute boondoggle. Time for a review update for this Chic-Fil-A. I don't come here as much as I used to, because they've stopped a lot of the deals such as the text messaging coupons (they still take expired paper coupons) and some of the events. I think they've changed management, so the Facebook page isn't as active as it used to be with events, deals, and new menu items. The last time we visited this Chic-Fil-A, my husband ordered a large ice dream cone and they gave him a small sized one (or at least, the same portion that a small is at other CFA locations). Service was also a bit slow, and there's a seedy neighborhood nearby. I've been hit up for rides or money in the parking lot. Don't get me wrong, this Chic-Fil-A is still a solid choice for fast food in the area, with a family-friendly environment and healthier options. Staff wearing masks. Have employees outside taking orders and payments as you wait in the drive-thru lines to speed things up. Considering there were like 20 cars in line before me they moved pretty fast. Had to flag someone down for nugget dipping sauce though; they were in such a hurry to serve others they might miss the little things for some customers. Love their nuggets!
