Went to this so call restaurant earlier today to order some food through drive thru. Sitting there waiting for one car to move. Ok my food is ready, but the car in front of me had an issue with chick-fil-a's ipad for her order. But meanwhile, everybody is in line waiting on their food. Our food is sitting outside the window getting cold,but I had to wait in line after receiving my food until they decide to fix the food for the car in front me. So I ask if theirs anyway that this car can move up and you'll her food through front door. This idiot female had the nerve to jump out her car, when I wasn't speaking to her. The manager at this Savannah hwy. Chic-fil-a came out being prejudice. I won't ever go back to this place ever! read more

Chick-fil-A on Savannah Highway in West Ashley is one of my favorite Chick-fil-As in the Charleston area. This restaurant is very well managed and run as you can get your order and get in and out very quickly even during the most busiest parts of the day. The service here is very friendly and very good at resolving any issues that may come up. The last time I was in here there was an angry customer and the staff resolved their problem very nicely. Let's be honest, I eat Chick-fil-A like at least twice a week. The last 4 times (yes it took me that many to stop getting breakfast here) I got breakfast from here, it was cold and took forever!! I stopped getting breakfast from this location. Fast forward to dinner a few days ago. We went in & there was maybe 12 people in the entire place. Nobody else was in line in front of us. It took over 40 minutes for us to relieve our food, & they messed the order up. I went through the drive thru a few weeks ago and received the wrong order. I would of checked but they said my exact order while handing me the wrong order. I contacted them through their website and they said they would forward the complaint to that location. Nothing happened at all from that, and now I am left with paying for an order I never ate. The best chicken ever. Best taste, nice people. Why 3 stars? Well the drive-in has issues. First, they don't seem to care about the people on line. The person at the order booth, can never seem to use the speaker system. You must first speak clearly! know when to speak and when to listen. It's a 2-way system. Always give the amount clearly so that the correct amount can be ready at the window. This speeds up the line. I went yesterday to this location, my food was generally ok. Usually the cookie is warm. It was cold, and this happened on several occasions. My mac and cheese was dry and they only filled it halfway from the container top. I ordered a medium but the amount is like a small. I ordered a salad and asked for chicken strips. Usually I get 3 strips but this salad only got one strip. They need to seriously pay attention to the food quality. They seem to be putting more attention to the customer service, but they need to not sacrifice on the food quality they sell. After all, its the food that mostly have people coming back for more. But if they keep being slack like this, I will have to start going to the other location. read more

Sorry to report, this morning's breakfast was an epic fail. We ordered two Chick-fil-A biscuits and four orders of hashbrowns. After arriving home, we saw something we've never seen before-- A BACON BUSCUIT!!!!-- NOT what we ordered and to make matters worse, we are ALLERGIC TO BACON. I tried calling the store several times to notify them of the situation but they never answered the phone. The same location recently put yellow cheese on my sandwich when I requested pepper jack. Not happy! Super slow service. Asked for sandwich well done since I've had several sandwiches from this location that have not been completely cooked when I've hit the center. Told they actually don't "allow that anymore". Seriously? So if I ask for crispy or hot fries- let me guess- can't do that either?! By the time I made it to the window, I decided that I should speak with the manager. Lauryn Koontz (manager) confirmed that Chikfila no longer allows this special request, as it takes too much time and slows things down. I informed her that in good service, another option should've been offered. I also told her the reason I ask for well done is because I've received multiple uncooked sandwiches. She stood and nodded her head with a smirk on her face. She was obviously not one bit concerned with what I (a paying customer that often orders catering as well for my office)had to say. I asked who her manager was and she snarkily responded 'that's me'. No sweetie, everyone has someone that's over them unless you own Chikfila, which you don't. She walked away from the window I'm assuming to get the information for me. After several mins she'd not returned and a young man named Tyler asked me what I was waiting on. I explained I had my food, that the manager was going to get me someone else's information (or so I thought). He informed me he's also a manager and offered to help. I have been very impressed with the speed of the local Chick-fil-A drive thru windows lately. They are super fast at lunch. However, this review is to let everyone know not to count on that speed in the mornings. I made that mistake today. I swung through at 7:00 am for a single order of 4 chicken minis. Figured I'd be in and out. Well come to find out, they don't staff up and do the fast drive thru in the mornings. It took me 10 mins with just four cars in front of me. In the old days that would have been expected but they have conditioned me to expect much faster these days. What a letdown. I know not to stop now. I visited this Chick-fil-A about a week ago and they got my order wrong. I had already restarted my drive before realizing the order was wrong. Later in the day I reached out to the store about the order not being what I ordered. They didn't resolve the issue. I'm pretty disappointed for Chick-fil-A. We know why this particular restaurant gets only 3.5 stars. We just ate there and ordered two Cobb salads with grilled nuggets. They came with fried nuggets. Both were made with completely different lettuces and one was missing bacon and eggs. When I took them back before opening, the lady acted like it was a big deal so I kept them. The food was very tasty, in true Chik Fila fashion, but frustrating that we couldn't get what we ordered. Our experience at this Chick-Fil-A today was impeccable. Our food was fresh and delicious, and the service was too! Kelly was the sweet lady who made sure our drinks were never empty, and took our trays for us after our meal. She made several efforts to make sure we enjoyed our meal and our experience at this location. I would say she went above and beyond with not just our table, but all the tables around us. I like this Chick-fil-A. It is close to my work so I can easily run here and get a bite to eat for lunch. As always with chains my review will be about this restaurant compared to the other ones I have visited not about the food here. You get exactly what you'd expect food wise at this restaurant. It all tastes very good and I LOVE their spicy chicken sandwich. The line usually moves fairly quickly when there is a rush. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes from getting into line to getting my food and leaving. Sometimes they have someone outside taking your order on an iPad, then other times you just order from the box. I haven't noticed either way being faster than the other. My order has never been messed up here. So I have nothing to complain about food wise. However, the parking lot is a little confusing. It is a bit inconvenient to into and out of on Savannah highway. They do have an exit that takes you to a light near the drive through line. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of parking there. And the parking that is there gets blocked by the drive through lane. Other than the parking and parking lot I love this place! read more

I like Chick-fil-a but this location isn't the best. The food is just mediocre compared to the other chicks around Charleston, the one near north woods is pretty good (not the one in north woods mall but the free standing location across the street). This Chick-Fil-A has never gotten my order right sadly. It's usually the sauce that's incorrect, I love the Polynesian sauce and somehow I always end up leaving the drive through chick-fil-a sauce. The drive through isn't as intense here as other locations. It's just one lane and sometimes they have an employee taking orders on the iPad. I think that might be where the issue lies, at normal drive thrus you can see what your order is on the screen. With the person entering it on the iPad you can't confirm that the sure is entered correctly. I have also been inside this location and it's just a basic fast food joint inside. The children's play area is available for kids, I can't speak to that but it's usually crowded when I've gone inside. I don't love eating inside because it's a bit crazy and loud, I definitely would take the food to go if I were you! read more

They had 2 people taking orders, one that kept disappearing and trying to talk holiday plans as the line grew. The person bringing food to the tables wandered around for 5 minutes asking whose food was whose. Never walking in here again. I don't normally use this location, but since the one closest to me was not open due to renovations, we ordered our platter from this one. A big ol' platter of chicken nugs was our item of choice for my sons birthday party. His friends and their parents were very pleased with our selection, as there weren't many leftovers for me by the end of the party.
