Chicken & egg moment: "Proof that chickens and eggs can, in fact, coexist... at least until breakfast is over."
    Adrian F.

Welcome to Chick-fil-A at 4670 State Road 7, the only drive-thru in America where people will sit in a line longer than it takes Congress to pass a budget--because fried chicken trumps politics every single time. Breakfast was the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit with hash browns, and I ate it in the car like a civilized savage. Why not? In Florida, your car isn't just transportation--it's the dining room, the therapist's couch, and sometimes the confessional booth. Eating hash browns behind the wheel felt less like breakfast and more like a spiritual practice. The service here? Surprisingly fast, friendly, and efficient. The team runs the drive-thru like a military operation--bags handed off with precision, "my pleasure" delivered faster than a State of the Union speech. People trash this location, but honestly, what do you expect? It's chicken and biscuits through a window, not the Paris Peace Talks. And the food? The hash browns are little golden coins of happiness--honestly, they could probably be used as legal tender. The biscuit itself is proof that chickens and eggs can co-exist peacefully... until cheese stages a coup. Eating it in the car feels like tailgating for one: no judgment, extra ketchup, and crumbs all over the upholstery. Yes, the line is long--NASA could probably track it from space--but at least these folks deliver faster than my Wi-Fi. Washington keeps promising change; Chick-fil-A gives you correct change. Guess which one I trust more? Chick-fil-A was born in Georgia back in the 1940s, and somehow here we are in South Florida, still pulling into the drive-thru like moths to a flame. Whatever you think of them, they've perfected the art of turning your morning commute into a guilty pleasure worth every greasy napkin. Not because it's bad, but because it's Chick-fil-A: dependable, greasy, and unapologetically itself. You don't come here for enlightenment--you come here because nothing else tastes as good when eaten behind the wheel. Forget donkeys and elephants--at breakfast time, it's all about the chicken.

This is the only Chick-fil-a that gives me extra mayo when I order in the drive thru.

The entire area is very well lit, and there is a menu board outside along with two staff members assisting with orders before you even reach the pickup window. This keeps the line moving efficiently and creates a very smooth experience from start to finish. The staff members are consistently friendly and welcoming, which always makes the visit even better. And of course, the food is a 10 out of 10! My husband and I absolutely love their chicken tenders and fries. They offer several combo meals depending on how many tenders you want, and meals typically come with Texas toast, fries, and coleslaw. One thing we appreciate is how customizable the meals are, allowing you to swap sides if preferred. Their fresh-squeezed lemonade is also a huge favorite of ours, along with the famous Cane's sauce. We always order one or two extra sauces because they are just that good! Overall, this location does an excellent job with both food quality and customer service.

The platters are reasonably priced for the amount that you get and the place is spotless. The service is wonderful and worthy of restaurant vs fast food a quality. Everyone has a smile and you can't help to leave with the same. We have a much closer chicken spot but will gladly drive the extra 7 minutes too get to Cane's. Great job to all!!!

Based on a Yelp search, I knew the pizzeria was here somewhere, I just had to hunt a little. I have been to another Little Mike's in Plantation and had excellent pizza but it's nostalgic ambience was not as dramatic as this location. It was mid-day, and only one other customer was inside eating. Ordered a cheese slice of pizza and waited about ten minutes and took that time to relish the decor which was instead of the common traditional boring old Italy, they had relics of fire hydrants and fire extinguishers in highly visible corners with a massive mural of the Brooklyn Bridge and retro theatre marquee with a playful slogan about a slice of Little Mike's pizza. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and ultra modern with pitted terrazzo tiles half way up the wall complemented by the light gray faux wood flooring which continued throughout the pizzeria. Opened the pizza box and noticed the two oversized glistening thin slices. Perfectly cooked med-well with a nice lightly charred crispy cornicione. The sauce was tangy with a hint of garlic. The manager and the front counter girl were charasmatic and made my short stay enjoyable. Grub Hub and Door Dash are accepted here as delivery services. A business with character and great pizza, an unmatched combination!!!

I was cordially greeted by an employee who took my order for a honey butter chicken sandwich meal, consisting of waffle fries, a beverage, and a side of honey mustard. Within a few minutes I was handed my order. The chicken sandwich was hot and well-prepared, but sadly it did not wow my taste buds. For me it just lacked flavor. The waffle fries were not as hot as I would've liked them to be, and its texture was a bit hard. The only thing I enjoyed was the beverage, which was cold and refreshing on this very humid afternoon.

Ive always had a soft spot for long cylindrical shaped food but this warm one was both juicy and crisp. Fried to perfection, its hardly greasy but cooked just right. What turned a 4 into a 5 is their sauces and dring station. I went with the buffalo blue sauce and it tastes as youd picture it. Light chunks in a creamy sugary sauce. The waffle fries didnt make or break the meal but a great addition. For $10 for 3 large logs, fries de waffle, and a drink you can't beat it. The other sauces sounded good, they offered ketchup mustard and mayo packs on top of their home made stuff. They delivered food to the table and offered extra sauce if needed. I can't tell which is better the food or the service. But I didnt come here for counseling, im here for the food, and youre a gambler you better bet on me coming back.

A restaurant that serves seafood and wings?…read more I'll admit it... I walked in a little skeptical. It felt like one of those menus that couldn't decide what it wanted to be when it grew up. So I did what any reasonable person would do. I ordered both. Before I even get to the food, I have to give a shout-out to the two young men working behind the counter. They were incredibly friendly, genuinely helpful, and steered me toward a combination that turned out to be a great choice. Good service doesn't always happen at casual restaurants, but these guys made a terrific first impression. Now, about that fryer... Whoever was running it knew exactly what they were doing. The batter on the fish was light, crispy, and delicate without burying the fish underneath. The fish itself was cooked perfectly. The wings were also very good, the fries were crisp, and the whole meal delivered exactly what comfort food is supposed to deliver. The shrimp? It felt a little like the forgotten middle child. Perfectly fine, but overshadowed by everything else on the plate. My only real criticism is that the food may have been a touch heavy on the salt. Then again, I'd rather reach for my drink than wonder if the kitchen forgot to season the food altogether. Hook's Catch isn't trying to be fine dining, and that's exactly why it works. It's the kind of place you go when you're craving something hot, crispy, and satisfying. And I have to admit, there's something oddly satisfying about a restaurant that refuses to make you choose between land and sea. Go with the fish. Go with the wings. Or do what I did and have them both.

Including breading and shrimp tails, the total seafood weight of my meal was 5.1 ounces! Guess that's more than the precooked weight if a quarter pounder, but it sure didn't seem like much. Both fish and shrimp were fine, and with the included slice of bread and large portion of tasty fries there was plenty to eat, albeit mostly fries and bread! I'll probably give them another try, but I'm not running back!
