We love this new Raising Cane's location in Pompano! It is fairly easy to access, and the parking lot is a good size. The drive-thru setup is especially impressive. The entire area is very well lit, and there is a menu board outside along with two staff members assisting with orders before you even reach the pickup window. This keeps the line moving efficiently and creates a very smooth experience from start to finish. The staff members are consistently friendly and welcoming, which always makes the visit even better. And of course, the food is a 10 out of 10! My husband and I absolutely love their chicken tenders and fries. They offer several combo meals depending on how many tenders you want, and meals typically come with Texas toast, fries, and coleslaw. One thing we appreciate is how customizable the meals are, allowing you to swap sides if preferred. Their fresh-squeezed lemonade is also a huge favorite of ours, along with the famous Cane's sauce. I think most people know what Raising Canes is like given that it's a national chain, so I'll start with my thoughts on this location. This location has a giant drive through, so it seems like it can handle a lot of drive through orders, although it was not very busy when I came. In terms of dining in, there are more tables outside than inside (the inside dining area is actually kinda small). All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, and my order came out quickly and piping hot. In terms of Raising Canes in general, I feel like Raising Canes is kinda like the In-N-Out of chicken restaurants. The menu is focused on a small set of foods, and those foods are done well. I'd only give it four stars though because I prefer other places' tenders and the food options they offer more, specifically the sauce options (I'm not the biggest fan of the Canes sauce). But the Texas toast and French fries are really good. On a sustainability note, I'd also wish they didn't serve everything in styrofoam containers. Federal Highway side of the premises, so we were going to eat "al fresco," and yet, it was a bit windy so we stayed inside. I ordered THE 3 FINGER COMBO (R) which turned out to be the juiciest white chicken I've had in a while. I'm not a fan of white meat because it's usually on the dry side, but whatever their special recipe is, the chicken fingers were tender and juicy, and their sauce packed a little punch! I've seen Cane's locations popping up all over but hadn't tried it yet. What a fun place! And the employees look like they're having fun too! A very fun & cool vibe! I met Cayden & Brandon the manager. Brandon told me about the menu, the history, the Cane sauce which they make in-house every night, fresh! A very fun and interesting event. Watching the operation I get a sense of In-N-Out Burger on the west coast and Chick-fil-A all mixed into one. They have an extra efficient drive-thru where there's no wait time at all taking the orders in advance having multiple lanes. Inside it's like a little bit of a club atmosphere which is fun especially since Brandon said they stay open till 3:00 a.m. And the silver ball is a nice effect! Upon first glance, it's a brand new standalone structure with inside and outdoor seating alongside a double drive thru. I went through the drive thru and it was quick and efficient. I was starving and wanted to try everything so l went with the Caniac Combo. That included slaw, six tenders, two canes sauces, Texas toast and fries. I figured two sauces wouldn't be enough for the food (and it wasn't) so l ordered the entire Cup. The cup costs $5.99 which is a lot!! I always see reviewers with an entire cup so l am shocked it was that much money for one which I thought would be cheaper since everyone does it and it's the signature feature of Raising Canes. The food was also not as good as the pictures on the menu. I was expecting much larger tenders than what was served and was disappointed. Especially due the the price of the Caniac Combo being nearly $18 dollars. The coleslaw was very mild and good. However, the fries were very soggy and disappointing as well. I'd much prefer a crisper fry from chick Fil A over the soggy crinkly cut fries from Raising Canes. Even though the tenders were small, they were quite good! The sauce was also very interesting. It wasn't what I was expecting because it had a vinegar and horseradish vibe to it. It was almost a sour like sauce and l'd much prefer CFA sauce over this. Overall, Raising Canes did not live up to the high expectations I had for it. I will definitely try it again, but l think I will stick to Chick Fil A for the time being to get my chicken fix.
