I'm from Texas visiting fort Jackson the service was absolutely horrible! I called twice and both times they hung up on my face, I then visited the facility to check on my order after it wasn't complete after an hour, the person in front of me was told by an employee " well if you don't see your drink there it's not there.. what did you even have". I asked multiple times for them to double check my order because they ALWAYS forget something, I double checked with them twice if everything was included they said yes for the second time and still items were missing. They never told me " my pleasure " which took me by surprise because in Texas that is always the treatment I received... super friendly super sweet ... definitely NOT here in South Carolina. Not a good experience. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese. I specifically verified the cheese selection as it has been wrong in the past. The sandwich arrived with a cold bun fresh from the refrigerator, no pepper jack cheese and a barely above room temp fillet. At least the waffle fries were hot. The wife's regular sandwich was sub par as well. Definately not worth the 15 bucks without drinks. Fool me once, shame on you. NO, not ever again for this location. This is the first time I'm disappointed ever with a Chick-fil-A. We go at least twice a week and do major group orders. This time, what should be a simple order was filled with disappointment, and the follow through was even worse. Wait time is always long but as all know we wait. This was exceptionally long for the short number of cars, but hey, we didn't care. We were willing to wait. Place order of 30 piece nuggets for passenger no issue. Place order for me all issues. I wanted a southwest salad no chicken as I don't eat meat with a hard-boiled egg. I was told it was not allowed. I'm like, when I do this twice a week minimum. Told new corporate rule we will charge you for chicken even if don't get. And even if you want to pay for it, you can't have it. So, I placed the order anyway and asked for large fry and large water extra ice. There is something addictive about their water, haha. Was told can't get anymore only a medium even if pay for it. I'm like, what I get this all the time. Was told this is corporate policy now. Okay, go up to get order. The first order had chicken on it. I don't eat meat. I told them again they took it back and went to just take chicken off and regive to me. I was not willing to accept that. The staff was like but then we would have to remake. And? I had to say I'm allergic to get them to correct. I asked for egg again but still told no. So now we are waiting when I think the manager or team lead goes to bring out food. My large fries are not large but a medium and half full. I'm like, this isn't right he's like, well, if I have to do it again, it will be a wait. Again AND? So he grudgingly goes back in, bringing back fries and my yummy sirracha sauce. It's then I see his nails have all kind of dirt under them. I had to pray while eating the fries he didn't prepare. Go to eat the salad to find they only half filled the container and didn't include the tortilla chips or the seeds. So disappointing. So I called corporate and told them what happened and the rep was the kindest person. He apologized and expressed concern as I had. Stated someone from the store would reach out. Was happy with the call. But then....... I got a standard email from Aaron Ellison saying have a fry of any size on us. That's it. So for the 1st time in years, we didn't do our twice a week 15 staff order with them. They may not miss us as we do them, but if they don't care about their customers and penalize the vegetarians, then not worth going. read more

We stopped in here and ordered our usual - 8 count nugget meals with large fries and Coke. My nuggets were overcooked and my fries were undercooked. The lady at the table next to us actually sent her fries back. Mine were edible and I was hungry so I powered through it. Hopefully it was just an off day. Not every chain restaurant is worth writing a review for, but this Chick-fila-A certainly is. Why? Because cashier Eric did a great job and actually made me say out loud to my husband, "wow, that was great customer service." He was so pleasant and in the quick minute interaction struck up a conversation. I actually felt like he cared about making sure we would enjoy our meal. Thank you for that. I love Chick-fil-A primarily for their Market Salad. The amount of salad you get with that perfectly grilled chicken is better than any chicken sandwich out there. To me Chick-fil-A has been the gold standard for service. When Was working and I would give a business lectures on customer service. I would say name a place with good customer service? Everyone would say Chick-fil-A without fail. This location was no exception. I was greeted by Zachary he was professional. My food came out quickly as always. While eating I noticed the manager coming in the restaurant. But he stopped and walked an elderly man across the parking lot to his car. Best of the best. Love this location. Drive thru is fast and accurate. Friendly people. I don't even know if I have actually been inside but we come here all the time. It's a great location convenient to everything in Forest Acres. Healthy options and I may be addicted to the Iced Coffee. They do a great job with making sure the drive thru gets everything you need in the bag the first time. I never have to drive back around for sauces, napkins or silverware. I pretty much cut out fast food years ago, but once in a blue moon I will stop when traveling. I was traveling back and forth to Charleston from Charlotte on Saturday which makes for a long day. I decided to stop by this Chickfila on the way back home since I thought it would be quick and I could get a healthy option. Well I got there around 10 minutes until 9, so it was not a very busy time, but I did not end up leaving there with my to go order until about 9:10-9:15 (so 20 minutes for a take out order with a predominately empty restaurant). I come inside and there is a line of people. Probably about 4-5 people before me. Well there were people that were cleaning up, people working the drive through, and then a couple girls working/not working the main register. I say this because some would come and go working the main register, rather than take order after order after order, so it made the line in front of me move very slowly. Here is where my issue with service really takes issue: -I was called up by one girl (Girl 1) to take my order, I start to take my order, but the worker next (Girl 2) to her tells her (taking an order at that time) she needed to go do something. So instead of finishing my order or saying anything, she just walks off. There I am just left in limbo. -So instead of Girl 2 taking my order or taking over of my order, she also walks off. -Eventually another worker (Girl 3) comes back to take my order and another lady's order behind me. -I ordered the grilled chicken nuggets. When I get outside to my car, I was given the fried nuggets -I go back in. Girl 2 and Girl 3 are arguing/discussing an issue of some sort. Girl 1 is cleaning. I'm standing there and waiting, while these girls have made eye contact with me, but continue doing what they are doing. -Eventually Girl 3 comes over and talks to me (after I see the manager finally say something to them) and corrects my order. This is why I don't see the value in going to fast food joint compared to a sandwich shop or something else. It is supposed to be fast and supposedly Chickfila is to have some of the best service in the industry. Well not this location. They were a mess and did not focus on getting customers orders in and fulfilled correctly. Instead it was focused on gossiping, telling others what to do, and cleaning up (still had an hour of being open). I won't be back to this location or another any time soon. read more

Waited for food via Curb side to drove all the way home with two sandwiches missing. Drove all the way back - because I can't have two kids not eating while the other two eating. To wait in the lobby for a few mins - no response from three employees. A new lady comes in and she's immediately greeted while I'm standing there. Been standing there. Rude. Usually, chick fi la provides 5 star service. However, i went there for desert and it took 12 minutes for them to make 2 deserts. I stood at the counter forever. They lady was moving so slow like she had nothing else to do.. I said thank you 3 times to her, she never responded with "my pleasure", a thank you or I'm sorry for the wait would had been nice too.. This location has the counter right in front of the doors as you walk in. Im sure during busy hours, the lines form outside since theres no room inside to stand in line. It is a very poor design. There is a playground outside for the kids. All kids appear to love chick fi la playgrounds. Be sure to let them play if you go to one. If you never had the "chick-fi-la" sauce, try it! I wish they sold it in bottles! I would get drunk on it! Try it on your fries first, then on everything like I do. Overall, chick-fi-la is a great chain restaurant. Great food and great service. This location has a poor design, and i encountered poor service on my visit. I wouldn't count this location out though. Poor service is a rarity. Id give them another try. read more

Frustrating to spend almost $5 on a sandwich that they make differently than the menu says. Apparently they make a spicy delux with American cheese even though the menu says pepperjack and that's how it used to be. My first time visiting a chick fil a (yes, there is such a thing as a 27 year old who's never been before lol) and I had no idea what to expect, but I didn't anticipate having people outside to take your order. What a cool and personable experience! I had a nice guy named Alex help Me out, and it being my first time he was nice enough to give me a run down of the menu and give me some ideas of what's popular to help me decide (Believe me, the anxiety of going to a well-known fast food establishment and not understanding what any of the things on the menu are was one of my biggest fears and probably why I've never visited a Chick-fil-A before besides having grown up where there were none). Overall the experience was wonderful, everyone was kind and friendly, I got my food super quick and let me tell ya, I understand the hype I inhaled that chicken sandwich and fries like I'd never eat again! read more

I usually don't make complaints and chick filet is the last drive through I would think to complain about because they are usually on point. This chick filet on forest drive has let me down on more than one occasion and running out of spicy chicken is where I have to draw the line. I ordered spicy chicken and I was told that they were all out so I settled with the original which was not good to me at all. How on earth does chick filet run out of spicy chicken? That's all I eat from there. Other than that and running out of sauces here and there or not putting a straw in bag is about all the complaints I have. read more

Usually they are pretty quick here, even during peak hours. So getting in and out during breaks is usually OK unless church empties out here. I have never in my life walked into a Chick-fil-A that did not offer the spectacular service that the restaurant is well known for, until today. To start off no one greeted us, and for some reason the bathroom was closed to all customers, and an employee tells me to go across the street to a McDonalds. Not to mention when I get to the counter to order, the older gentleman by the name of Bo, refuses to make adjustments to my order and was extremely rude and his tone was extremely condescending. I decided not to be of a hassle to Bo, because obviously my request for cheese on my chicken sandwich annoyed him so much. I take my order to my car to eat, and well well, not only could I not have cheese on my favorite sandwich, but the extra pickles I paid for were also missing.
