Drug test your employees people, SERIOUSLY! I wanted 2-3 ct chicken minis, 2 orange juices and a number 3 with a fruit cup and sweet tea to drink. The gal at the window repeated the order back to me sans the OJ. So I says to her...I say..."Did you get the two orange juices?" She says the order again sans OJ AGAIN. I ask again for her to add a couple of orange juices. She says OK. In a perfect world OK means "I understand." It does not mean "Keep talkin lady cuz no one is listening." I pull up and--of course--no orange juice. So I ask politely for two orange juices. I explained that I had asked twice for orange juice...admittedly a little frustrated. She shows me the receipt where I was not charged for orange juice. I explain AGAIN that I need two orange juices. SHE SHOWS ME THE RECEIPT AGAIN. "That does not solve my orange juice issue. SWEET MERCIFUL CRAP WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET TWO ORANGE JUICES AT THIS PLACE?!" The manager who has been standing there the whole freaking time tells her to ring me up for two orange juices. If she was there the whole time why did this occur?! It's a sad day in fast food land when even Chick-fil-A doesn't give a rats little beeeehind about customer service....sad day indeed. read more

This review is for everyone outside of Texas because prolly evreebodee here has tried this place out. If you ever get a chance to check out a Chick Fil-A, then you MUST try the WAFFLE FRIES! Chick Fil-A is a fast food chain but it's a little bit old fashioned. They're always closed Sundays and their menu isn't like a typical McDonald's, Burger King......Super Size type thing. It's pretty basic actually. BUT, if you're "er round dese parts", try the waffle fries with polynesian dipping sauce.......they're so light that a small or medium size might not be enough. They're cooked in peanut oil so it's healthier (yea, tell that to my waistline!). Also, check out a slice of their cheesecake! For a fast food chain, it's pretty pretty good. Ah, Chick-Fil-A....my favorite fast food restaurant! Can't go wrong with the original chicken sandwich (in fact, I've rarely ordered anything else). About once a month, I treat myself to a chicken biscuit. While some (non-Texans) find it repulsive to eat chicken for breakfast, all I have to say is OH WELL, more for me! The chicken biscuits are tasty with either ketchup or honey. This place has also provided many a chick-filugget tray (name coined by Rachel L.) for parties. This is seriously the BEST party food imaginable - the guests are always pleased. Plus, it's a reasonable price - about $55 for 200 nuggets! Give them an hour or two advance notice, and you're good to go. A couple other tips for this particular location - there are TWO parallel drive-thru lanes for quicker service. Don't be afraid of the outside lane...it works just the same as the "normal" one! However, I rarely go to the drive-thru here. It is simply too crowded....I think we need a few more Chick-Fil-A locations around town to combat these crowds. If I am grabbing a sandwich to go, I always park in the lot, run inside, and order to go. This takes a fraction of the time I'd spend waiting in the drive-thru line. On my way out, I have to laugh at the suckers sitting in their cars in the EXACT same spot as when I walked in. read more

I love this Chick-Fil-A. It's always insanely busy. Half the time I skip the drive-thru. If I stay in the drive-thru, I have a choice of two lanes. Whichever lane you pick--it will be the slowest. I always get a #1 Value sized with a Diet Coke. And if I feel like a real pig, I'll get an extra sandwich. One time at this location they gave me a #1 breakfast at noon, which confused me. A lot. I was just here on Monday after a Sunday of heavy drinking. Without this food, I probably would have died. Thank you, Chick-Fil-A, for providing me with the hangover sustenance to drive back to Austin. Or, actually, to ride in the passenger seat of a Mustang without feeling sick. I still hate the fact that you close on Sundays. I believe the command was to rest on the Sabbath, not deny Americans delicious chicken sandwiches. I think those were God's exact words. This may be my favorite Chick-fil-a ever! They have the usual great food that you expect from Chick-fil-a but the staff is really nice as well. If you've been to Chick-fil-a before, you know what they are all about. The food is delicious and relatively healthy as far as fried chicken goes. They also have wraps and salads for those of you who are clearly more health conscious than I am. You can even substitute a fruit cup for their waffle fries, but I question the sanity of anyone who does this. I really like the staff here. They are really nice and seem to actually enjoy their jobs. This is quite a change from many fast food spots! One of the more interesting features of this Chick-fil-a is the double drive through. There are two lanes that take orders, but what makes this unique is that the second lane also does food delivery. I was curious about how this works, so the store manager actually walked me behind the counter so that I could see the conveyor belt that takes the bags from the main kitchen over to the island window. It was fun to see in action! Overall, I love this Chick-fil-a and really like the helpful staff. It's a great place to visit! read more

2 days ago I ordered some soup and fries, nothing too complicated, right? I went through the drive thru, which is ALWAYS super busy and first thing I noticed was the lady at the window was not very friendly , she just told me to park out front and someone will bring out my order. Okay, no problem...finally got my food (15 mins later), got home (an hour drive) and noticed they gave me the wrong soup.. I received chicken tortilla instead of chicken noodle, it wouldn't be a problem but I'm not a fan of the chicken tortilla, (too spicy in my opinion) & I wasn't about to drive all the way back. So I tried calling the store phone number on the receipt & the number doesn't work?! I googled it and got the same phone number, so I called the 1800 number from chic-fil-a's website to let them know. They apologize and said they would have the manager contact me ASAP. Well today I decided since I'm in the area and I have not heard back I would stop in and get my replacement order. I brought my receipt and let the guy at the register know the situation. He asked me if I had the food.. told him no.. that was 2 days ago, and I called and was told y'all would replace my order. The guy at the register (Hispanic w/glasses) very rudely said "well there's nothing we can do.. unless you have the food... " of course, at this point I asked to talk to a manager. I talked to Joshua (a manager apparently ) for about 10 mins and he had no solutions either!? He completely disregarded the fact their phone number doesn't work & wouldn't replace my soup order! I've never had any issues with other chic-fil-a locations BESIDES THIS ONE! Everyone I've dealt with was rude, unhelpful and not willing to correct their mistake, even though the person I previously talked to said they would! I'm in shock. All of this over a small soup!! I did not know there was such a thing as a HORRIBLE CHIC-FIL-A experience until I came here!! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. read more

My favorite chick-fil-a FO SHO. Close to work, always fast and speedy, and always clean. They have a double drive through system, and boy do they need it. Lunch time is PACKED everyday and cars can wrap all the way down the access road. This location and its employees are used to the rush because service is always smooth when I go. They've got the system down and I love them for it. I came for lunch one day only to find it shut down for renovations (2 days) you would not believe how sad I felt. Might be all the MSG but whatever it is, Chick-fil-a has me hooked and I'm not quitting anytime soon. read more

Chick-fil-a in general ------------------------------------- Chick-fil-a is a great restaurant. Their food is generally much less bad for you than similar fast food alternatives. As other reviewers mentioned, they have waffle fries which are cut from the potatoes without peeling them which makes them much better for you than normal fries. They claim to have invented the chicken sandwich (I don't know if this is true) and it is probably among the most popular items on the menu, but I always get the chicken nuggets or chicken strips. It might have changed with the "new recipe" they promoted for their strips, but it used to be that the nuggets had a bit more spice to them than the strips. Now they might use the same breading, I'm not sure. They have chicken salad sandwiches now, but they're pre-made and I didn't care for it. You can get salads, including one which comes with chicken strips that are packed separately. As an alternative to fries, they offer fruit cups which aren't bad. They are mostly apple chunks, but include grapes, orange, and strawberry. They appear to be cut fresh so are good quality. They offer a pretty good chicken noodle soup, and coleslaw that I haven't tried. They have a variety of dipping sauces for the chicken. The one already mentioned was Polynesian, basically a sweet and sour sauce. They also have BBQ, honey mustard, buttermilk ranch, and one called Chick-fil-a sauce which is a honey bbq sauce I think. I don't know if it has always existed or if it's a new sauce flavor they're trying out. I don't care for it, but others do. For dessert they offer soft serve ice cream cones which I haven't tried, cheesecake that I tried once on "cheesecake day" when they were giving it away (it was ok), and brownies which are somewhat dense cakey brownies with frosting which aren't my thing, but a friend really likes them. My favorite is their "hand spun" milkshakes, particularly the cookies and cream one. They have seasonal ones including mint chocolate chip, latte, and currently offer chocolate peppermint which I haven't tried. For breakfast they offer a variety of sandwiches that I haven't tried, cinnamon rolls which didn't do much for me, and the best thing is their chicken minis which are their chicken nuggets wrapped in a doughy roll with a sweet buttery taste. They're excellent! You can get fries, but by default they offer mini homefries in the form of deep fried round pellets of minced potato. They're not bad, but the fries are better. For drinks they offer the standard soft drink fare plus regular and diet lemonade and sweet and unsweet tea which are very good. Refills are free. They offer milk for kids, I don't think refills of those are free though. They claim to be the first fast food restaurant to open in shopping malls, apparently the malls didn't think it would be good for them! The founders were religious and believe it's important for employees to have Sundays off for family and worship so they are always closed on Sundays, even in shopping malls! This is probably a good hook for people too as I find I often want to go and realize it's a Sunday, or think I better go Saturday because they'll be closed Sunday. This particular location ------------------------------------- Chick-fil-a restaurants are owner operated and appear to be given lots of lattitude, so quality can vary by location. This particular location is excellent. It's always busy but they get people through very quickly. They even have a two lane drive-thru that employs a special conveyor system to get the food to the second lane. The staff is very attentive, generally one person runs the register, takes your order and fills your drinks, while runners assemble the order and bring it to them. There is a children's play area so it's a popular place for families. This location offers plastic placemats that adhere to the table for kids, shorter straws for kid cups, and at least at one point (not sure if they still do or not) offered little plastic containers of Cheerios for infants all out at the condiments station at no charge. The restaurant is always clean and they have fresh flowers in vases at each table. read more

Chick-Fil-A on Lovers & Central. The busiest Chick-Fil-A in the nation....but somehow, service is still great, and timely. The double drive-thru looks intimidating with a line down the service road, but they will get you through in under 10 min. Food is always fresh and consistent, and served quickly. FRESH lemonade is yummy! They always have a smile, and if you're not satisfied, they will make it up to you. One tiny complaint - the coffee in the mornings isn't my favorite. maybe it's because I'm not a Columbian coffee fan. read more

Very rarely do fast food places give you exactly what you ask for. Whether it's not enough straws, or no sauce, this Chick-fil-A is always on top of things and almost always gets everything just right. This is my favorite Chick-fil-a in DFW (or ever). They put so much detail into the service & the general operations of this location. The service is quick, and the food is always good. But the thing that makes this place stand out is that they offer to "refresh" your beverage after you've been sitting down for a bit. How cool is that for a fast food place? This is a good location for kiddos too- lunchtime always has a mix of 50% kiddos/moms with 50% business peeps. If you sit further away from the playground, you'll be with the business folk, and vice-versa if you sit closer to the playground area. read more

At here and sat inside on our way out of town. Everything was a typical Chick-fil-A experience. Staff was friendly from ordering to the person taking care of the seating area. Ordering was a breeze, food came quickly, all sauces accounted for and seating area was very clean. Food was fresh and up to usual standard. Driver thru lane was super slow. Had to repeat myself twice. Even when repeating myself twice i did not get the condiments i asked for nor the coffee that i asked for. When i got the coffee, the lid was not closed properly and therefor i got coffee all over my hand and inside my car. No apology from the person at the window at all. Every time I come here I dislike it more & more. I brought my daughter here one time to play in the playroom & she got the flu --I know it's from here because we were at home for days before & after visiting here. Today I came for the free breakfast day which I participate in every year or so when they have it. I always get the spicy chicken biscuit but now since they have the app they scan, they can't give me the spicy chicken, only regular! It's 2 cents difference! Seriously? Not everyone has bland taste buds! I was actually going to buy a drink & some other items but that just ticked me off so much that I just opted for a free water & that's it. What made it worse was that the cashier got an attitude with me after I expressed my dissatisfaction. And no I didn't yell or cause a scene. Sooo she ignored my presence the rest of the time, didn't check on my order which I saw sit on their counter for 5 minutes. I know that isn't a very long time but when it comes to food, it's 6 hours of time. I also saw an off duty employee behind the counter at the expedite counter getting his personal food in his street clothes--cowboys jersey & jeans & cap. How unprofessional that looked. ALSO, a customer that arrived 8 minutes after me got his free biscuit before I did! That's just the one I saw. I don't know how many others in front of me got there's. The lady (not the one that took my order because she was too busy ignoring me & getting other people's orders out) that finally handed me my food was unfriendly & not smiling--something I am not accustomed to from Chick-fil-a. I guess I will be driving an extra 10 minutes out of my way to go to the one with friendly people & great service on Hillcrest & University. I love that Chick-fil-a. What can anyone say? We all know about Chic-fil-A and the fact that is probably a healthier alternative to traditional fast food options so I am just gonna share some of my faves: **Newest fave: Chicken Cool Wrap! You won't be disappointed, even if you are not a wrap person. It is always very fresh tasting and my recommendation would be to get the avocado lime ranch for dressing. I have had it like four times in the last two weeks. It's a better alternative ot my other faves. Add fruit for extra fiber and extra healthiness! Yea! **The "yoosh" (usual) : Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich I gotta have a little "...kick as the Neelys say (Food Network cooking couple if you are like huh...lol) It never disappoints. **Salads: fresh **Soup: It's cool but contains 41% of your D.V. Sodium so be careful peoples. **NOT A BIG FAN OF THE ICE CREAM...Sorry..It tastes a little funny to me! I dunno! I'm not sure that Chick-Fil-A as a whole needs reviews or an introduction to anyone, but I can say a lot for this location. This is one of the busiest CFAs in the nation and despite the line stretching down the 75 access road, you can always get your food quickly and from very friendly staff. The food is delicious, of course, but the double drive through and staff that walk out to take your order goes the extra mile to make this place a regular stop for lunch and dinner. Do note that if you eat here any time from 10:00 to 3:00 there will be a large number of kids here, but it seems that most are either well entertained or well behaved. read more

We were trying to get a chocolate milk for my daughter which was not placed in a previous order and we tried to come and get it and she was very unprofessional and rude I did not give us the chocolate milk that we paid for. It's common place to see the dual drive-through ordering stations now. But in most situations the two lines merge together again. So it's kind of faster...but kind of not. This Chick-fil-A is an innovator in drive-through efficiency. It has 2 separate lines, and they never merge together. You get your own ordering station as well as your own window to pay and pick up your food! When you drive up you have to make a blind gamble. You have to choose your drive-through line, without a clear view of how many cars are in that line. The choice makes all the difference. I've had both lines work out in my favor, but frequently pick the one to the right. The line to the right has a few advantages. If it's not busy, some people don't even seem to notice it. But the best part is that your food gets to travel on a special conveyor belt time system from the restaurant to your pick up window. How cool is that?! Well... I imagine most people stop caring after the first time, but I still enjoy the ingenuity of it all. read more

This is my 2nd favorite Chick-fil-a after the one in Rockwall. I grade Chick-fil-a's on the sweetness of their tea and while the tea here is good, I prefer the taste of Rockwall's sweet tea. Aside from that, the food meets the same good quality standards that you find at all the other locations. If I had no choice but to eat fast food, Chick Fil-A is the way to go. I have a strange obsession to their chicken nuggets and CFA sauce. It's mmm mmm good! This is like the only fast food restaurant I would have no regrets eating. Perhaps it's because they are a Christian based business and everything you eat from there is potentially harmless? Haha, I kid. :-) The staff here, like every CFA location, are incredibly friendly. I'm thinking that they are robots programmed to have flawless service. I was a bit enthused about their double drive thru. How amazing is that? I dined in, but noticed it on the way out. Good thing I missed the lunch rush though.
