Very good sandwich, soup, salad restaurant in a busy shopping area. Was quite busy at lunch today, and I see why. Our party of five basically loved everything we ordered, from spicy BBQ sandwiches, to salads, to potato soup, to the chicken bacon club. Only complaints were the salad croutons were soft/soggy and some salad greens needed to be cut into smaller pieces. Parking can be tight during busy times. You order at the counter near the entry door, get your own drink and find a table, then they bring your food to you. Reasonable prices (around $8-10) for sandwiches or half sandwich/soup or half sandwich/salad combos, but drinks are extra. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area. read more

Newk's has a variety of salads, sandwiches, soups, and pizza to satisfy almost anyone. Our order taker was very friendly and efficient; she made sure our order was correct before submitting it. My wife had the Cobb salad and I had the Greek salad. Both salads were very large and delicious. Newk's gives you a stout plastic cup for either soda or iced tea. The decor on the cups change, and they also have refills. Restaurant was clean and I saw the busboy always cleaning up tables and sweeping the floor. This restaurant is in a shopping center, and I probably would have missed it if it weren't for a friend who took me. I really liked there menu and the offerings as I am gluten intolerant and allergic to a ton of stuff. I was able to find something delicious and would not make me sick :) During Covid, it may be different, you stand in line to order at the front, then go sit down and they bring you your food. Newk's is always a win for me. I visited this Newk's location for lunch one day while I was in the area and it was slammed. Although every table was filled the service was fast and prompt. The cashier rung up my items and thanked me for visiting Newk's. Our food was brought out to the table shortly after that and I was shocked. I ordered the Royal with no creole mustard w/ loaded potato soup. That was my first time trying their loaded potato soup and it was delicious. I think I found my new Newk's favorite. The place is always clean. It can get very busy during lunch as the food is REALLY good and Newks is very popular in the area. I have dined in, ordered online, and ordered take out, and the service is always easy and quick. I treated my Mother, Sister, niece, & nephew to lunch here once.
