The establishment looks brand new on the inside, hard to say if it's a relatively new location or they had renovations. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed that my order, while delicious, was lukewarm. The chicken biscuit meal that I ordered, the cheese didn't even add melt. I expressed my disappointment in my meal. I stopped by their drive-thru to grab some breakfast - not all Chick-fil-A locations does the request of 'well-done', but this place does! The Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis came out piping hot, and the boneless chicken were cooked perfectly. The hash browns came out, fresh out of the fryer, and were seasoned well and super crispy. The service runs a little slower due to only taking orders through the speakers and not having employees walking the drive through with tablets. But the service was friendly and they got our order right. Most importantly, it was the same quality and delicious-ness that we've come to expect from all Chick-fil-As. This Chick fil A is located at The Shops at District Heights shopping center. I don't know what the deal is but it seems like all Chick fil As seem to be near a major intersection or a turn leading to a back up of cars. Hey when they want their chicken they want their chicken. I will say be very careful turning in and keep your head on a swivel as this parking lot is not the best and the drivers in this area are even worse. Service has always been quick as this place has a double drive through. I have only used it for breakfast in the morning and the staff always greets you with a warm hello. Let me tell you in this area of Suitland that is a rarity for those of you who live or work in this area. Food has always been hot and fresh whenever I order my usual sausage egg and cheese sandwich. In fact by the time I get to work down the street at the Federal Center it is still very warm and needs no reheating. I admit it is usually about a five minute wait after placing my order but this is no big deal when I know it is coming out hot and no worries of it just sitting under a warmer. I can only make comments about the breakfast items I have had but very surprised at the reviews concerning the quality of the food and service experienced for later hours. This was my second time eating at this chain! First time in New Jersey, this time in Maryland and it tastes even better. This time I had the spicy chicken deluxe with honey mustard sauce. MAN!!!! Why eat any other chicken sandwich from another establishment unless it's homemade?!! Like seriously.
