Deviled Eggs - Jalapeno & Bacon Jam
    Mara S.

Really great vibe in here, especially the design and overall atmosphere. To start, we got the Watermelon Mojito. It was good, but I think it would be much better if they used more watermelon juice because I wasn't really getting much of a watermelon flavor. The deviled eggs with bacon jam were top tier and definitely a hit at the table. The Great American Way Burger, on the other hand, wasn't anything too special. It tasted like a pretty standard burger, and the fries that came with it were a little boring. We also tried the Fine Fried Chicken, which was definitely some good Southern-style fried chicken. It came with mashed potatoes, which were okay. Service was great. Overall, we had a good experience and I'd definitely come back to try their dinner menu

Went for brunch with my party of 4. The host was so kind to find us a table as I accidentally made a reservation for the Las Vegas location. The waitress even tried to find suitable vegan options for one of my friends as the menu does not readily list them. He took the time to try to find a replacement for the country cobb protein bowl which our party really appreciated. That is above board service. The food was filling, but the temperature was not hot enough for the waffles and burrito noted by my friend. But I do love the non-alcoholic section of the menu. The Passion Fruit Breeze was sweet and spicy with the pinch of ginger. The waffles were a hit at the table though. I think it is the restaurants best dish. For your info - there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to each check.

Me and my boo had a little date night and it was the perfect little spot . My salad was so good! And his burger was gone in 2.5 secs Our server was good with explaining portions ensuring we had what we needed and wanted.

An amazing dinner; we went for dinner and it was great, the service was exceptional, our server (I wish I could remember her name) was delightful. She made outstanding recommendations for appetizers and meals, we enjoyed all of her recommendations. The food was delicious, we couldn't get enough. The restaurant was welcoming and created an environment that made each table feel as if they were the n their own restaurant. I highly recommend you enjoying a meal here.

The Yardbird in Washington, DC delivers an upscale dining experience with a menu that's well-priced for the location, atmosphere, and overall quality. We stopped in around 1:20 PM and were able to grab seats at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice. The Bourbon Lemonade was easily one of the highlights of the meal, refreshing, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. If you're looking for a cocktail, this is definitely one to order. The chicken sandwich sliders were delicious, with juicy chicken and a soft biscuit, but the honey drizzle was a little overpowering for my taste. I'd recommend asking for the honey on the side so you can control the sweetness while still enjoying the flavors of the chicken and biscuit. The scrambled eggs were decent, but nothing particularly memorable. They were presented beautifully on a stylish plate, though the taste itself was fairly standard. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly despite the busy lunch crowd. The service matched the upscale feel of the restaurant and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Yardbird is a great brunch or lunch spot with a welcoming atmosphere, quality food, and excellent drinks. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the DC area.

What can one say about YardBird that has probably already been said? Well no matter cause YardBird is a personal fav of mine! I've been to the DC and the Las Vegas locations and noticed that depending on which location you visit the menu can slightly change a few things. I prefer coming during Brunch hours which runs on the weekend from 10am-4pm. The buttermilk biscuits with honey butter and housemade jam are yummy. And the creme Brule waffles offer a nice sweetness for the sugar crave you might be having. And the fried chicken is to die for. Even has a gluten free option! But my fav brunch item is the gravy train. Which is a bacon, fried chicken, egg, and cheese sandwich SMOTHERED in gravy. This location also is within walking distance from a few metro stops. And there's a parking garage or two nearby in addition to street parking.

I have never been here nor heard of this place but not like in a bad way. My friend who has celiac actually found this place on the gluten Free app. Honestly god bless cause it's such a cute spot!!! I do hate that you can only order breakfast 10-11am but SOO worth it when you get the GLUTEN FRIENDLY CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. like what?! Period. I haven't had fried chicken in almost 2 years and it was so amazing. The staff was super nice and attentive too. good vibes all around. I'm forsure coming back- but next time with my BOYFRANDDD and he can pay for all the food I'm about to eat there. Well tbh, all the food HES going to eat cause he's a little fatty ( like me )

Nice decor. Paul was outstanding. He was attentive. The Spanish speaking bartender in training who doesn't drink forgot my grapefruit mimosa. It wasn't until Paul asked if we were okay. After I mentioned the drink, and she actually started making the mimosa. Which was on the other side of the bar. We were not a priority for her. That was clear. I would have tipped above the automatic gratuity if Paul only served us. He was courteous..professional and kind. The lady next to me ordered the same chicken sliders. She had a whole piece of chicken. Mine where cut in half. Hers looked like a $18 dish. Mine looked rather subpar compared to her sliders. I didn't feel satisfied with the presentation since another customer ordered the exact same dish. Her dish was crispy and looked inviting. Mine was underwhelming and subpar.

All American Breakfast Biscuit French Toast
    Quels P.

Tried Yardbird for brunch for the first time and had a great experience! I was seated right away without a reservation, which was a nice surprise. My waitress was super friendly, bubbly, and really knew the menu. She gave some great recommendations. I ordered the American breakfast and the biscuit French toast. Everything was good! The sunnyside eggs were especially great, and both the sausage and bacon were cooked really well. Even the arugula salad that came with the breakfast stood out. It had a light lemon vinaigrette that I really enjoyed. The hash browns with a fried block delight. I wasn't sure what to expect with the biscuit French toast, but it tasted exactly like it sounds. biscuits turned into French toast. It didn't have that classic French toast flavor, but it was still really good and worth trying. The atmosphere was nice, pretty packed, but the noise level was just right. My waitress checked on me often, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be coming back for brunch!

Service was friendly, attentive, and overall one of the highlights of the visit. The menu is straightforward and not overwhelming, which made ordering easy. Prices are reasonable, and the children's menu is especially generous for the cost. The bathrooms could definitely use some attention--they weren't very clean, and the hand soap had a strong chemical smell that reminded me of a perm solution. An 18% service charge is automatically included in the bill, which is something to keep in mind when dining here. I didn't manage to take photos of the food, only the dessert, but here's what we tried: The lemon pepper wings were decent--not crispy enough but nicely seasoned, though not particularly standout. The short rib with mashed potatoes was flavorful and tender, though slightly on the salty side. Still, it was a satisfying dish overall. The kids' burger was surprisingly good and better than what you usually find on most children's menus. The chicken soup was also decent--very flavorful with cilantro, avocado, and chicken, and all the ingredients worked well together. That said, it's probably not something I'd order again. For dessert, the banana cheesecake pudding was quite good and pleasantly not overly sweet. The apple pie à la mode had plenty of apples and good flavor, though there wasn't much crust or strudel topping. The apple texture fell somewhere in the middle--not too soft, not too firm. Personally, I prefer more crust and smaller apple pieces, but that's just a preference. The overall atmosphere felt like a typical casual bar-and-grill vibe--think along the lines of an Applebee's-style setting. We would return to try other things on the menu.

When you're looking for an upscale Southern meal, yardbird is a great place to go. The interior is well decorated. The bar ambiance is great. The floorplan is unique, with the central bar and lower half level. The menu is not super vegetarian friendly, but you can make do with sides or substitutions.

Great food and great experience. My husband and I have been to the Chicago location and this was our first time trying their DC spot. We were seated immediately and had multiple staff members touch our table. We ordered the Chicken and Waffles which is delicious and a must order here. The burger was very good but $35 is a steep price for a burger. It was good but nothing special. The skillet cornbread is a must order. The chive butter was delicious and it's a huge portion. They do place an automatic 18% gratuity on all checks. We tipped a little more since the service was phenomenal. The good is great but this place is expensive for southern food.

A Wonderful Sunday Brunch at CR NoMa!…read more I visited CR NoMa for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed my experience! CR NoMa is a Moroccan-Israeli scratch kitchen featuring Middle Eastern and North African flavors. I love that it feels like a relaxed neighborhood spot while still being stylish and sophisticated. FOOD: I ordered the Traffic Jam Breakfast, which comes with scrambled cheesy eggs, a hash brown, and cornmeal-crusted French toast with maple syrup and raspberry glaze. Since I don't eat pork, I swapped the bacon for crispy lamb, and everything was delicious! The French toast was definitely a highlight, especially with that raspberry glaze. I do wish they offered another traditional breakfast meat that isn't pork, like chicken or turkey sausage. The crispy lamb was a great substitute, but having another non-pork breakfast option would be nice. DRINKS: I did the $24 Bottomless "Make Your Own Mimosas," which I thought was a great deal! Instead of constantly waiting for someone to refill your mimosa, they bring bottomless bottles of sparkling wine with a selection of juices, so you can make your mimosa exactly how you like it. They also offer a $45 Deluxe Bottomless option that includes the make-your-own mimosas plus CR Bloody Marys, Micheladas, draft cocktails, and Old Time Lager. An entrée is required for either bottomless option, and food is purchased separately. SERVICE: Our server was wonderful! She was attentive, kind, and accommodating. I explained my dietary needs, and she had no problem allowing me to substitute the bacon for crispy lamb. I really appreciated how easy she made it. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is surprisingly spacious! You really can't tell how big it is from the outside. I loved the modern rustic décor, beautiful natural lighting, and relaxed but sophisticated feel. It works perfectly as a casual neighborhood brunch spot but also feels like somewhere that could easily transition into a lively dinner and drinks destination. The broader menu features Middle Eastern and North African flavors, including fresh brick-oven pita and house-made hummus, plus craft cocktails. They also offer happy hour and weekend brunch, so there's plenty for me to come back and try! PRICE: The prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. You get a good amount of food without brunch feeling unnecessarily expensive. And $24 for bottomless sparkling wine and juices in DC? I'll take it! Overall, CR NoMa delivered a wonderful Sunday brunch experience. Delicious food, attentive service, a beautiful space, good portions, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

For $45 per person, the all-you-can-eat experience feels like a really solid deal considering how many protein options and side dishes you get. They start you off with a variety of banchan (side dishes), including a salad with this super tasty dressing that had the perfect little spicy kick. For the BBQ, we kicked things off with the spicy bulgogi and butter garlic shrimp, while the others tried the pork belly (I don't eat pork). Later we ordered the steak, spicy brisket, and grilled squid, which were all delicious. The spicy brisket especially was a standout for me. The guys also ordered two rounds of fried dumplings that looked amazing, but since they contain pork, I had to sit those out. I'd love to see Chadol add a veggie dumpling option to the menu! As for the sides, the kimchi and cold glass noodles were both hits at our table, and of course we all added white rice. The "mashed potatoes" though? Definitely more like potato salad and unfortunately very bland. On the other hand, the cheese corn costs extra but is 1000% worth adding. For drinks, the guys enjoyed the Woody Old Fashioned while I had a mezcal margarita-style cocktail that was smoky and refreshing. We also ordered one of the chicken options but never received it and eventually just gave up on it. One of the coolest parts of the experience is the ordering system. Most meats are ordered directly from a machine at your table, and the food comes out quickly on this conveyor belt-style setup which was honestly so fun. Drinks and side dishes are ordered through the servers. The atmosphere was lively and energetic without feeling overwhelming. The restaurant is actually much larger inside than I expected, with a modern setup that works well for smaller groups. That said, I didn't really notice tables for larger parties, so I'm not sure how they accommodate groups bigger than 6 people. Service started off a little rough because our server wasn't very attentive, but after I called it out, he definitely stepped it up and things improved. Overall, Chadol was a really good experience and absolutely worth the price. The 1.5-hour seating limit makes sense too, both to keep things moving and give others a chance to enjoy the experience. I'd definitely go back!

They don't take revelations and the place fills up fast. It's a very cute spot and feels so comfortable and fun. Our bartender was Gaylan and he was great--had great reccs, laughed with us a bit, all around great guy. The 'let me just say this' was so soo good! It tasted like a rainbow--just bright and with a really delicious after taste. I should have stopped at the rose but after my trying my friend's, i had to have one! We initially came for happy hour, but moved to the cocktail menu. The hh was a bit limited, but the drinks were priced overall pretty reasonably for the area. My one complaint is the wine glasses were so teeny. Overall though, I would recommend this bar. Bonus: cheese balls when you sit down! I believe there is also a limited food menu (think nachos) for the after work or late night crowd.

I know reservations are probably highly recommended, but we were fortunate to walk in at just the right moment and snag a seat. The seating is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The atmosphere is just my style, an elegant, dark, grown and sexy vibe that really sets the mood. The decor is striking, with thoughtful touches that create an inviting space to unwind. While it leans a bit on the pricier side, the exceptional service more than justifies the cost. Jordan and the team were incredibly knowledgeable about both the drinks and food menu, offering suggestions that perfectly matched our tastes. We tried two standout drinks that I can't recommend enough: the Attractive Nuisance and El Tiburon, (which is an Old Fashioned made with gin). The bartenders here clearly know what they're doing, each drink was crafted with care and precision. The good music in the background added to the overall ambiance, making it a delightful spot to spend an evening.
