Chicken is an enigma to me, even more so this place where the billionaire owner throws donations to modifying kids in secret while holding back fair pay and worker benefits in public. The food is very expensive considering the unhealthy ingredients, excessive sodium, crazy amount of stabilizers and all sorts of weird stuff clearly labeled on their ingredient lists, and artificial junk and colors, and somehow no one seems to notice these flagrant fouls of products and employees because My Pleasure covers all! Is it just me that feels this is a scam since Chilis, Outback, and many independent places offer the same items within a dollar and often cheaper without all the risky injected stuff? I keep getting pulled into various Chick Fil A locations, like this one in my birth city, by my friends who go wild for the easy to use app, smart selection of crowd pleasing items, and incredible consistency from clean restaurants to personable welcoming staff. I have to admit the breakfast burrito is excellent not just for fast food. Random free stuff showing up in the rewards account easily paints over the rusty molded underbelly of aforementioned issues. I suppose when employees don't really try to unionize maybe it is as pleasurable as they remind us. The chicken sandwiches are up there at the top for many but Slim Chicken's cayenne ranch chicken sandwich at my number one. It will be interesting in the next decade to see how the big influx of bird chains, Raising Cane's, Popeyes, and more, influences this original hopefully motivating to address the skeletons in the closet. read more

Awesome location!!! If you live near here, download the app and get in the drive thru line. Chick fil A's app is awesome, and when I use it at this location, I always get through the drive thru line quickly. As with most locations, the customer service is great here as well. The (mostly) kids working are so polite and friendly during the check out experience. The food is quality as always, fresh, hot and delicious. Add this location to your fast food rotation! read more

I hadn't been to a Chick-fil-A since the pandemic so I had an inkling that the ice cream cones were back! Stopped here today on the way home and got a Chicken Sandwich, sans pickles, fries and a cone. Service of course was great! Fries were super hot and fresh which is an improvement. But I do have a gripe about the ice cream cone. It was about half of what it should have been. I didn't say anything about it and I should have, but I'll be back to get another one soon and hopefully today was just a case of the busy drive thrus! read more

Tried going there several times since they claim to have gluten free items on the menu. Half the times I got the food there I got allergic reaction. So I just realized I never finished writing my review from when this location originally opened. I appreciate this location so much. They strive for efficiency and accuracy with your order. I've had an issue one time with my order. I called and the young lady that helped me provided a resolution so that I did not have to drive back to the location to rectify my concern. I also appreciate the honor providing random rewards for customers. While that's not the reason I go, it makes it feel like I'm special. It's an added bonus that the employees call you by name when they're serving you. And I'm not talking about in the dining room, this happens even in the drive-through. I LOVE this Chick Fil A location! Went through the drive thru and the employees are super welcoming and friendly! Took my order quick and swiftly. She did mistake my 12 count grilled nuggets for spicy for some reason. But I put no mind to it since both are tasty. Despite my big order, the food came out in 5 mins max! Fries were served super hot and fresh. Everything was delicious. I'd definitely say to go through drive thru if you have the chance since it's quicker than going inside from my person experience. Lines can get long during typical rush hour meal times but you move pretty quickly. 7/2021 First time to this location. As always, the smiles are plentiful and the attitudes are great. It is always a "pleasure" to be served in a Chick-fil-A anywhere. But this place was almost over the top! We used the drive thru and found the people super, super nice. Loved the setup with two lanes going and two sets of people to help with orders. Extra care and attention when we got our order at the window. Super fast and extra tasty! We love Chick-fil-A and only wish this one was closer to our home. Unfortunately, we only get here when picking up grandkids or something like that. We will be back though for sure! read more

Terrible service. When you go through the drive thru make sure you get what you actually ordered and paid for. I have gone there twice and spent almost $50 each time and both times items have been left out. I drove all the way home and when I realized I had been ripped off I called and spoke with the manager. The manager told me come back tomorrow when we serve breakfast and we will replace your item. No offer to make it right or deliver the missing items via door dash or grub hub. Terrible service there are far better options in Elgin and the surrounding areas. Popeyes is right down the street. read more

The location has been there for a while now and typically seems pretty busy. That made us think it might be good. How wrong we were. We ordered chicken sandwiches. I cannot understand how you can remove the taste of chicken from the chicken leaving only a bad taste from an obviously dirty grill. Small burnt particles from previously burnt items were stuck to what was supposedly a cut of chicken breast but what tasted more like tofu. The bun was just as awful. It tasted like dried soy crumbles mixed with cardboard. And the waffle fries tasted like nothing more than old uncleaned oil. It was an awful waste of too much money. Overpriced tasteless garbage.
