Mixed my fruit punch and lemonade with the amazing crushed ice and took a seat. Babeeeeeeeeeeeeee. When the food came out all I could do was sit in happiness. Everything was perfectly fried hard how I wanted it. The seasonings were robust and aroused my nose through the steam. Oh my!!!! I bowed my head, said my grace, and I devoured the dish. I'm talking bite after bite after bite of flavorful, meaty, goodness perfect for a good meal on a Good Friday Night!!!! It's something about the food from Frozen Rooster. The kaulua pork sandwich was a good attempt at Hawaiian food but not as good as something you would get from a specialty store. The pork should have been a bit smokier and the sauce was a bit too sweet but the slaw was very fresh! The grilled Mahi sandwich was the biggest disappointment of the evening however. It was "grilled" on a George Foreman type grill it seems and it was pretty dry. They should add a glaze or a sauce to help with this issue in my opinion. This location features both a traditional CFA with counter service and a drive thru as well as dinning room with table service. I found the table service to be a standout here and would definitely recommend giving it a try if you are ever in the area.
