Get my food and am truly enjoying the new smokehouse bbq it's very very good. Then this older African American guy comes out to take out the dining room trash. This guy made my night! He took our trey and gathered every one else's was very kind and was making sure everyone was happy with there food. So I go back up to get a top and bag to go and the line is longer at this point. What do ya know here's that guy to my rescue!! Ask if he could help and went and got me a bag and a lid with a smile while doing all of his other work! I asked her did you just tell me Indint have to come here? And she said yes, and shut the window in my face!!! "T," who claimed to be the manager was right there with her and allowed it. I remained thwee at called corporate but no one answered and about 10 min later, "T" opens the window and says, "maa'm, your gonna have to move as I have other customers waiting behind you." I opened my window and said to her I too was a customer and a paying one and did not appreciate how she allowed her staff to shut the window in my face, and she proceeded to say I was the one who had the attitude and told me, and then proceeded to say, "I am about to do it to you also." At the meantime, another colleague on the back told "T" that I was not the one being rude but her colleague was. "Tim" then said, " I am not going to argue with you" and shut the window in my face as well. Now that was twice in a row. I then went to a different Kentucky, reported it to a REAL manager, who was so emabarrased at "T's" behavior as well as the rest of the staff that he winded up giving me the same meal I was going to order (which never got to) absolutely free! He also gave me the direct number to their complaint department, and guess what...they're on it! So, I urge you to NOT visit Kentucky Fried Chicken on 2550 Alpine Ave NW as they are not customer friendly and have no type of people skills whatsoever!!! What a shame to have people like that working front of the house!!! I felt so bad for my poor 84 year old mom as all she wanted was to eat a warm meal as she is a diabetic!.
