If the line is long for drive thru, it will still be faster than going inside. They have 1 person taking orders and it took him 15 minutes just to take my order and only 1 person was in front of me. So I'm from Richmond-the land where Chick-fil-a lines last no more than ten minutes. Clearly I need to go back because this experience was a huge let down. My mom and I came for breakfast and placed a mobile order at 10:25 (before breakfast ended) and got in the drive thru line. We sat in the back of the line, moving up MAYBE 2 car lengths, for 25 minutes. By the time we get to the employee checking orders in we were informed that breakfast had ended-even though we had been here in time, they just didn't move fast enough to check our order in before 10:30. Guy checking orders in basically shrugs and said there's nothing he can do unless we order lunch. You would think as breakfast was ending they would check mobile orders and pull breakfast orders that had been entered before 10:30. The food is pretty standard for this chain, but I've never been to a chick fil a where I felt like the service was this crappy, and the line was this slow. VERY disappointed! read more

I'd love to give this restaurant less than one star. When it opened a few years ago, I ate there with a Police officer friend of mine. They were kind enough to give him a significant discount, since he was in uniform and on duty. I was on duty and in uniform as well, but I am a firefighter. They did not give me the discount. I ultimately spoke to the regional manager and she explained the company policy is to only give the discount to the Police. Their reasoning is that their presence keeps disturbances down. There are many places that give me a discount and I appreciate it. Sometimes I get the discount, sometimes not. It doesn't matter if they do are not. Most times, I give the discount back to my server in the tip anyway. But for them to give one and not the other, it's just wrong. I will never eat at one of these restaurants ever again and I'm not afraid to tell this story over and over. read more

The customer service in here is amazing. Their contactless drive thru system is the most sanitary thing I've ever seen. They push this cart out to you to give you your food, it's pretty cool. I stopped here on a road trip headed down to Tennessee. The service was blazingly fast, so much so that my food was done before I had even gotten my change. The downside was I couldn't find any napkins out where the extra sauces and straws were. The regular chicken sandwich was great but the 12 piece chicken nuggets were very small. The restaurant itself was very clean and felt brand new. There are plenty of places to eat in Harrisonburg, VA, especially when just wanting something quick off the interstate, but I would come back to this Chick-Fil-A. read more

My family stopped by here for dinner on our road trip. There was a long line for the drive-thru so we went inside. It was busy, but the line moved along quite fast. The cashier that took care of our order was very fast and friendly. They had all the registers available opened so that was good. I had the Cobb salad. I thought it was very good. The veggies were fresh and the chicken was juicy and crispy. My husband and son had the chicken sandwiches and they like them too. As usual, their waffle fries were good. read more

I personally love Chic-fil-A more than any fast food place around. Food is consistently good. They healthy alternatives that taste great not just ok but great. So why not five stars well this location always seems to forget something in my order. I'm starting to take it personally lol Once it was the pepper jack cheese on my sandwich. Which if you've never tried I strongly suggest you do, much better than American cheese. This time it was the straw as well as the sauce for my nuggets. Good thing the nuggets can hold their own. I frequent this location a few times a week, and the customer service is always exemplary, save for my last visit. I put in an order for breakfast, only for it to be cancelled as soon as I arrived at the restaurant. My understanding is that you put an order in ahead of time as not to wait, but due to a design flaw, we had to wait. When I had asked how we can avoid this issue next time we visit, the team member Chelsea gave me horrible attitude and offered no assistance whatsoever. This was not the customer service I was used to, especially at this location, and it was honestly surprising to experience such disrespect and severe lack of patience from a chick fil a team member. read more

I love their original chicken sandwiches, cooked in peanut oil and with a delicious pickle as the only topping. A side of waffle fries and a milkshake don't hurt either. But what I really love about Chick-Fil-A is the super-polite staff and their involvement in the community. The restaurant sponsors frequent special events and gives out free lots of free sandwiches at all kinds of community events. It might be a national chain, but it is solidly grounded in the community too. Closed on Sundays. read more

The drive thru is always long, but it beats going into a jam packed sardine can full of the grossest looking degenerate customers stuffing their faces with chicken in a sea of tables with very little separation between each odd collection of step brothers and balding aunts. It doesn't matter which chicken fil a you go to, their food is better than most sit down restaurants in this town. The sauces make the meal. Lemonade is the bomb, @ this particular location there was a lovely elderly lady going from table to table offering to refill your beverage for you. Usually I'm very pleased with this location but today I had a bad experience with an employee over the phone. I called to place a catering order and the person said "Look, we're really busy from 12-2 for lunch rush. can you just call back after 2?" I said Id try and told them that now was a good time for me though. They disregarded it and didn't even offer to take my information to return my call when things settled down and I was rushed off the phone, basically hung up on. When I called back and asked to speak with a manager it was the same voice that answered. Granted, it was still a little before 2 because that's the time that worked for me. The person said "speaking" when I asked if I could talk to a manager and said they didn't recall our conversation earlier and that they try to not talk on the phone because they want to focus on the customers in front of them. They told me I had plenty of time between now and Saturday when I wanted my order and that I needed to call back. I said I probably wouldn't and they just said "well okay". Im normally not one to ever post a review or let things get to me but the whole conversation was unprofessional and made me feel like an disturbance of their day. I asked for her name and know it but won't share it. However she needs to be re-trained as a manager, specifically focusing on customer relations. All she needed to say was "I'm sorry, we're really busy right now, would it be okay to take your information so I can return your call once we slow down?" I wouldve been totally fine with that. I just don't like feeling like I was brushed aside and turned away. read more

And of course the food is delicious! We have a crew of 3 kids. They love the food. But the real story of this location is the staff. We have been stopping by at least once a week since they opened which is 10 ish years. The food is as you would expect which is great. But with a family of 5 they NEVER get the order wrong, always appear to care, smile and treat us like kindly. Not trying to be down on other operations but the staff is better then any other operation we have experienced!! In order to write a good review for Chick-Fil-A, I only have to tell you what has never happened to me at Chick-Fil-A. I have never been treated rudely, been served cold food, sat down at a dirty table, walked into a dirty restroom, or had an excessively long wait .... even during a lunch or dinner rush. The food is good, the employees are friendly, and even managers pitch in to help keep the line moving. If you're a parent, you'll appreciate the fact that they don't peddle a lot of nonsensical cheap plastic toys for their kid's meals. Little kids get board books, older kids get a book, CD, or learning game. If your child doesn't want the toy, they can exchange it for an ice cream cone or cup. read more

Great place to eat! We ate breakfast here last week when we were on vacation in Harrisonburg, VA. Love the chicken mini's! They were always hot and buttery! The sweet tea is the best!
