Although Chic Fila is a franchised restaurant, I decided to grab lunch hear while shopping because the lines move quite quickly and I knew the food and service would be good! This is my first time trying their salad and so far, I like it. It's very filling and tasty! The chicken is freshly fried so it's hot! The restaurant is set up like a grab and go. The removed all the seating and organized lines similar to those in airports the move traffic along. My father-in-law and I went to this Chick-Fil-A, and this employee, Christian, saw the hospital wristband I was wearing and promptly asked "is it a boy or a girl." That kicked off a heartfelt conversation about his kids and my newborn son. Whats more, when I reached for my wallet, he said that it was "taken care of" and that he wished us well. This Chick-fil-A will often have a line when I walk up, but it moves so quick it's amazing. Someone (today two people) are walking down the line taking your order so that when you get to the front you just give them your name and pay. Within a minute or two my food was ready! A sandwich and regular fries is about $8.50. Hard to beat that price for lunch. They are also generous on the sauces. read more

I am a big fan of Chick-fil-a. They have real chicken breast sandwiches and nuggets as opposed to the processed and formed chicken that most of the other fast food places like to serve. This location is located in the food court of the mall, and it can get pretty busy. They usually have a lot of staff working so your wait in line is very minimal. The only drawback that I have with this chain restaurant is that they are not open on Sundays. There have been plenty of times that I have had a craving for chicken on a Sunday and have been left with no quality options. read more

We love chick fil a. We could eat it everyday. The staff is sweet. The family values of being closed on Sunday. This mall franchise is a poor example of the professionalism that one has learned to expect from here. After all, the prices are higher than other places that serve fast food. This place is always busy, what CFA isn't? They have 3 waiting lines and what should mean each line the traffic should be high during prime time... it just isn't. We were welcomed with a "NEXT!" As If there was more people in line. Amusing. I almost laughed but I didn't want to be rude. Their menus are simple, which is always a huge plus for this busy mom. I know what I always order. However, this day I decided to change it up. The employee was not the chipper, vibrant, and welcoming employee that CFA is known for. She was leaning over, obviously bored with her position. She took my order. My ever so complicated change up obviously made her even more upset. Sorry if I wanted the 12 piece nuggets and not our usual 6. Wow, I was living dangerously! 12 whole nuggets! Finding the condiments should be simple enough, but it's obvious they either choose not to buy enough. OR they are secretly hiding them in the back. Can I blame them? Ok, maybe I'll just chalk it up to people who just don't need nor want to work. The food was not up to CFA quality, and as you may know each one is individually owned and operated. They choose the "size" of each chicken they purchase and serve. This is a major CFA in a major Houston mall. Come on! We all know you are raking in the money. Why not hire the employees who want to work? Why not train them to say "welcome to CFA" As a matter of fact where was their "pleasure" in serving it or answering any questions. Nope. Not one single entire "my pleasure" during the entire 5 minutes we were there. The fast food place next door that's more commercial has happier employees. Will I ever visit this restaurant again? NO. This mall has enough choices and Houston had more than enough CFA's that understand the importance of great service. Whether I am paying $10 or $30 for a meal for my family, I enjoy the CFA experience. This one just doesn't make the cut. Pun intended. Sadly, we were not able to eat here yesterday (3/15) after shopping, although my husband stood in line for 20 minutes. Chick-Fil-A staff attempted to herd (note cow reference) the people into lines, but then customers coming back for refills further slowed service to a near standstill. I've never seen so many Chick-fil-A's in H-town! There are establishments on every corner of almost every block in town! Not to mention in the mall, which is great and convenient! Yes, I've always been a fan in Cali and this joint takes me back and makes me feel like I'm at home in good 'ol San Diego. I usually order the Chicken strip 4-piece meal and a Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich for the road. Might I say, my order was prepared quick, made fresh and tasted really good. Mind you, I actually had sushi across the way before grabbing a few bites from here. When it comes to food, I can really hold it down, lol. I don't have any gripes with this location because as I've mentioned in my previous reviews, if you work in the mall and want to just grab a quick bite to eat without having to drive elsewhere while fighting the heat, "mall food" would be your best bet. This chick-fil-a was superb. The food had a great taste and had a very nice flavor and I enjoyed it very much. Even though it was very busy, they managed to get the food out in less than two minutes. Fries was excellent today- crispy outside and soft inside. #1 chicken sandwich was too salty. When their chick was the size of your palm- the salt and sugar marina was just right. But now that the fried chicken breast meat is half of the original size, I strongly suggest that they decrease the salt and sugar amount proportionately. Their amazing fresh lemonade has sat too long out or their lemon is no longer fresh. The too lemonade reminded me of Minute Maid lemonade- bleh! The shakes which my daughter used to love is now too saccharine sweet that she took a sip and chucked it. Ok. The reason I'm ranting. Chik-Fil-A used to be my favorite to-go place because it's tasty and healthy. I find it now too salty and too sweet to be healthy. The service here is amazing. I love chick fil A. It is one of my favorite fast food restaurants with consistent quality and great tasting food. I hate to say that this location gets a few stars less than my usually 5 star ratings because it doesn't compare to other locations. The staff at the other locations is usually super friendly and I feel that the people who work at this location don't seem as perky and helpful as at other locations...I don't know if it is the mall location that recruits employees that are more burned out or what. The line is usually very busy but the signs that hang overhead are a little confusing as to what is open and what is not. It is convenient though with the pay app but the sad part is that just has a back log of people standing randomly by the wall waiting for food still. read more

Yep, you read that right, imagine how sorry I was the morning I bought a breakfast biscuit and to my horror found a strand of hair baked into the biscuit!! Barf!!! It was marinaded really good into the batch of flour, apparently very strong too because it literally held the biscuit up as I held it by it's strand of hair. I took the hairy biscuit back to Hair-fil-A and showed it to the manager, her response was it properly came from the machine.... yeah, yeah I think that's it... I always wanted a machine with blonde highlights to make the breakfast at Chick-fil-A. Sounds futuristic and the hair must be the secret ingredient. "Would you like a replacement?" A great location especially for being inside the mall(memorial city mall). My only major complaint would be the parking but I can't complain to much considering that has nothing to do with chick fil a considering its in a major mall. I ordered the grilled chicken nuggets which are one of their healthier options. It was good, meat was a little to moist, almost tasted fatty. My fiancé ordered the number three which is a spicy chicken sandwich which is always amazing. I tried something new here, which was chicken tortilla soup. It wasn't 5 star restaurant soup but was still pretty dang good. The staff at this location don't seem to be as friendly as some of the other locations not in a mall but still friendly. This location is always busy due to it being in the mall. However, it seems the line always moves faster when they have their color coded system going on. They don't always do it but it seems to work. I think though that they should have a line designated for people just ordering drinks. Came on a Friday and of course, Chick-fil-A (in memorial city mall) was packed as always. It never fails. This place is always busy and hectic. Don't get scared though. Although they look super busy, they are very quick to take your order and give you your order. I did not wait long at all. There were many lines and cashiers so there really was not much of a wait. I love Chick-fil-A, but this location has a serious issue with organizing its line(s). Every time I go there is a new configuration. Today I went and there were three separate lines with each feeding into two cash registers. The separate lines are really frustrating because you never know if you're getting into the fastest one. So I get into the shortest looking line and as I'm sitting there a lady walks up right to the front and makes her own line so that she'll be the next one served. I politely told her that the line for those two registers starts behind where I'm standing but she refused to listen and said that there was a line for each register. That clearly wasn't the case, but she turned her back on me and cut in front of us. It was super frustrating, but that wouldn't have been an issue if this Chick-fil-A could just figure out a better way to organize the line. I'm not sure why they couldn't have a single line that snakes around the store like other Chick-fil-As have so that every customer is served in the order they arrived. read more
