Nut allergy friendly! I've had several flavors of the chicken to go and it's always been fine. We generally order the Hot & Spicy Chicken and the Fried Crispy Chicken. Generally 4-7 pieces per person is sufficient, especially if there are sides. I really like the care they have in have a steam vent flap in the box. That helps prolong the crispiness of the chicken. Unfortunately, the Hot & Spicy does not travel too well. Even a 15 minute drive leaves it less crispy than desired, due to the amount of sauce involved. On the other hand, the Fried Crispy Chicken travels very well and maintains a nice crispy crunch even after 15-25 minutes of travel. A pretty solid option in the grocery food store!

FYI, the chicken takes 15 minutes to prepare so plan accordingly. Pretty delicious Korean fried chicken. I got the soy garlic and enjoyed it (okay, fine, I devoured it). I like the spiciness chart on their menu -- very helpful. Also shows which flavors are the driest. Friendly service.

OKkkk, so I was in H-mart for hours between Friday and Sunday and neither time was this place busy. My friend told me The ToreOne fried chicken place has gone down. How sad because I definitely (1) had heard of it (2) had that bad boy bookmarked in Yelp! for the longest. Sunday, I saw someone with a smoothie that looked good and I asked them what it was. I decided to order me one, taro smoothie with boba. I asked the cashier about it, he offered to let me taste the powder for an idea about how it would taste. Did a little tongue dip and decided it was just ok but I was like still, let me try something new. Ordered it and waited about 5-7 minutes for it. The smoothie piece was a bit icier than I like but I presume because it didn't any fruit in it. But where they lose HELLA stars is the boba. I am no connoisseur of boba but I've had enough in my big age to know what it taste like and most definitely, what it shouldn't taste like. That boba ruined the whole drink for me! It was so tough and the wrong kind of chewy! Bleh bleh bleh, I did think to take it back but I didn't bother.

KFC. Not the colonel, but Korean fried chicken was pretty good. We ordered two flavors. Balsamic scallion and original hot. Both flavors were on point. Crispy, crunchy, fried and with a lot of flavor in every bite. The food was ready in less than 10 mins. We made good choices with the flavors, although I would like to try out all the flavors some day.

Korean fried chicken was just another thing on my list I've been wanting to try lately. My girlfriend recommended this place so we decided to grab some to go and try it out! The location is inside the H-mart food court so the ambiance is just okay, but I don't take any points away for this. The food took a little while to come out, probably well over 25 minutes. The chicken itself as well as the sauce was okay but it was lacking some of the crispiness I would expect from freshly fried chicken. Lastly, the price seemed to be a little on the high side for Korean fried chicken, especially of this quality. I wouldn't mind having ToreOre if I'm shopping at H-mart and need a quick bite but if I'm being honest it probably wouldn't be my first choice.

This was one of the first Korean fried chicken places in land in Houston years ago before the KCF craze now in full swing. Located in H-mart food court, it's convenient for those who wish to grocery shop and take home a meal. After we ordered, we visited another place for an appetizer, and while fried chicken takes awhile to cook, ours was taking particularly long. I went to check back, and our chicken and fries had been boxed, and was sitting on the counter. Bummer. We were sitting a few feet away! I wish the employee would have waved at us or something to let us know our order was ready. Despite that, the chicken was tasty. The fried were meh... neither crispy nor seasoned. Would pass on those.

One thing that really stood out, and I haven't seen many restaurants do this -- is that they offer you a small sample of the food before you order. That little touch made a huge difference! It helped me decide on the right heat level for my chicken and narrow down which sides I wanted. Such a simple gesture, but so thoughtful. I ordered the H-Town wings with the hot honey sauce and a side of their homemade ranch -- and WOW. The wings were incredible, and that ranch? Delicious doesn't even cover it. I also ordered the leg and thigh Korean style, and while the flavor was amazing, it was a bit too saucy for my taste. I hate sending food back, but I knew I wasn't going to eat it -- so I did. And let me tell you, they handled it with such grace and kindness. No attitude, no awkwardness -- just genuine, outstanding customer service. That right there says everything about the kind of establishment Tumble 22 is. I couldn't even finish everything (portions are generous!), but the leftovers reheated perfectly in the air fryer the next day. I will absolutely be back -- especially for those H-Town wings. Go try them. You won't regret it!

It was my first time patronizing the business so I truthfully did not know what to expect. I thought I would be getting just a scoop of chicken salad in a cup to go but little did I know that it would be an entire meal! So they definitely over exceeded my expectations after ordering. After ordering, you were just told to give them a name and have a seat. I was a bit confused on what to do. I saw some people sitting down, but there wasn't much sitting area available for to go orders so it was kind of awkward a bit, but I will say the layout of the restaurant would allow for you to set a table and wait so that could be another option as well. The setup is very fast casual and the inside is well lit and clean. Even the drink and condiment area was nicely organized. Honestly, I must return because I do like spiciness so if you do as well, the kickin Kay or buffalo Barclay will surely do the trick. truthfully, the kicking Kay would be my choice, but if you are not a spicy person, but you do like savoriness than the sassy Scotty will surely do the trick. So if you are near Chicken Salad Chick today, I would highly recommend downloading the app and checking them out. Even if you are not able to go today, apparently you can redeem the offer in the app and use it within 90 days. So there's no rush. The only thing that I wish I would've known was that you can sample the chicken salads so utilize this as a pro tip when choosing. As it definitely would have detoured my decision based off of the recommendation that the cashier gave me. Luckily, I did like the sassy Scotty, but I would have ultimately chose something else if I would have known that I could sample the chicken salad prior to ordering. The only reason why I knew that was because I overheard the manager, offering it to the customers after me. Not a knock on the cashier that assisted me, but it should definitely be something offered if they know that customers are indecisive.

Nice cozy place, perfect setting for fried chicken. I am sure they had other stuff, but that was the mission for this visit. Had the special which was to legs and two thighs for the price of the 3 pc dark. Beans and slaw. Ok, the chicken was great, moist, seasoned, very well cooked. I will go out of my way to go here for the chicken. Beans, canned with a little flavor added, nothing to brag about the slaw was pretty good. The fries on my friend's plate looked great. Perfect. First, I noticed that the staff handling food behind the counter were not wearing gloves. Hygiene is important, especially when preparing and serving food, and it was concerning that no one appeared to be following proper food safety practices. At that time, the rotisserie was already being cleaned, which told me they had stopped preparing fresh chicken for the day. Instead, they were serving pre-cooked chicken kept in a warmer. As expected, this made the chicken dry and hard on the outside. I ordered the 1/2 dark meat chicken with yellow rice and Tequeños. However, I was given two small leg quarters and an extra piece of white meat--which I didn't ask for--all of which were extremely dry. The portion size has noticeably decreased as well. I was also very concerned to see them using spray cleaner near the food, which poses a risk of chemical contamination. On top of that, the Tequeños were extremely dark and tasted like they had been refried, nearly burnt. Adding to the poor experience, one of the girls behind the counter was playing around and massaging her coworkers while customers were being served. That level of unprofessional behavior is not something anyone wants to see while waiting for their food. I've always liked this place for its fresh rotisserie chicken, but it feels like DoDo's has started cutting corners on both food quality and cleanliness. Paying $19.52 for this meal just didn't feel worth it.
