Nut allergy friendly! I've had several flavors of the chicken to go and it's always been fine. We generally order the Hot & Spicy Chicken and the Fried Crispy Chicken. Generally 4-7 pieces per person is sufficient, especially if there are sides. I really like the care they have in have a steam vent flap in the box. That helps prolong the crispiness of the chicken. Unfortunately, the Hot & Spicy does not travel too well. Even a 15 minute drive leaves it less crispy than desired, due to the amount of sauce involved. On the other hand, the Fried Crispy Chicken travels very well and maintains a nice crispy crunch even after 15-25 minutes of travel. A pretty solid option in the grocery food store! read more

Prices have been updated and everything else went smoothly during my recent visit. No trouble getting the extra sauce and food was great.

This place used to be good, but they jacked up the price, and the quality of their chicken went down. I am unsure if they are cooking it differently or using different chicken, but their chicken is now very dry and not moist. The dark meat was fine, as always, but the other parts were not enjoyable to eat, and many of our guests also left that part of the chicken uneaten. I would recommend Choong Man over this place... not only is it cheaper, but it is also of higher quality and tastes better. Choong Man's whole chicken is ~$25, whereas this place is ~$30. The one thing that amazes me about this place is the quality and consistency of their korean friend chicken whenever I come here. Whether it's been days, months, or years that you've been here or you've been waiting, the ToreOre does not lack anything in their food. The chicken are cut into good sized pieces, nice and juicy, along with a great selection of sauces to match them with. I always like the garlic one, such a classic sauce that is very tasty and flavorful. The side bowl of pickled daikon or radish is a perfect palate cleaner to the chicken aficionado. To be aware of parking, the restaurant is inside the food court of a grocery store, so plan ahead of time if you come to eat or take it to go. They also do phone orders! The wait time to get your order varies between 20-30 minutes but it's worth it. Definitely single fried, not double. It's basically just fried chicken with sauce on it now, except they don't use enough sauce, and they appear to have watered it down so the fry just sogs off by the time you get it home. I used to be able to get a medium and eat on it for a couple days and it would stay crunchy still, now I got it home and the breading is falling off and soggy and the sauce is almost flavorless and there isn't enough of it. On top of that you can't even order a medium or lg family sized portion, you get a 5 piece boneless, or various other sizes unless you want bones. Too bad, just skip it, get the chicken in the from the fresh food area by all the kimchi, that at least will be crispy when you get home. Went here for the first time yesterday and ordered the chili bbq mixed wings (7 count). The wings were so crispy, mouth watering and saucy! There was enough chicken to also feed my boyfriend and I for around $14. It took about 25 min to get our wings so do not expect it to be fast to go order if you are in a hurry. Located in the food court at Super Hmart. A friend of mine really like their spicy Korean fried chicken. Plenty of tables at the food court and also many other food options. It comes in a cute box with gloves and a bowl of pickled radish. I can see why the gloves were needed. The chicken meats were fresh and seasoned very nicely. A lot of spice and some sweetness to it. Make sure you get plenty of water and napkins. It can get messy. Take your time eating and try the pickled radish. After a few pieces, I was definitely feeling the spice. The radish gave it a balance and will calm down the spiciness of the chicken. You can also order the 14 piece which is half of the original and your own choice. They have mixes of wings and breasts. However, the wait can be long about 15min or so. This is still my favorite place to get KFC. I have tried KFC at restaurants but I always come back to this place. read more
