I am so disappointed in this Chick-Fil-A location. I ordered a large fry. Look at the pic to see the large box with very few fries! I also ordered a large macaroni and it was not completely filled. Bad/poor customer service Chick-Fil-A. I have never had this happen with a Chick-Fil-A order. This store is located at I-59 and Little York Road in Houston, Texas.

Originally Chicken sandwich with a small tender on the left and Spicy Chicken Sandwich with regular chicken breast

What is the world makes a small chicken tender end up on a chicken sandwich. I have no words. Service was a decent but quality check was not up to par. Please do better. So disappointed

This location off 59 and little York was fast. They had 2 fully operational lanes with a roof top to avoid getting wet. Makes it convenient because it's close to freeway. Has lots of parking as well.

I ordered a fruit cup and they literally threw in 3 strawberries, 3 mandarines and 8blueberry ?SUPER DISSAPOINTED IN THIS PLACE !
Richy S.

If I could give 0 stars, trust me I would :) fries are super cold, no straws ever given, attitudes when asking for sauces. Idk what happened to this location but JOHN, please get on it. UPDATE TO 1 STAR NOW ! - I just called due to the fact that I ordered a large fruit cup( no apples) & got charged the same $2.74 , keep in mind, they did not charge me less for not getting the apples! & they DID NOT give me extra food to make up for the apples not in my cup. So basically they got a large fruit cup, took out the apples, charged me the same, did not give me more blueberries NOR strawberries, NOR mandarines! But still charged me the same? And if I did add more strawberries or mandarines it'll be $.25 more for each fruit. So $3.50 ? Makes no sense! Definitely a scam! & I'll be posting the picture here ! She said that's their " policy" well guess what? I have been to other cfas & they did NOT DO TH Although I love chick Fil a a lot, they always miss SOMETHING! Don't know what it is , but super unacceptable ! I worked here for 2 years and I know how it is to be on the other side ! They always either forget my sauces , or a simple " extra pickles" they repeat the order back to me and it's correct but once I take off I notice something missing or off. Don't know if it's just laziness and they don't care or what's going o

I go to this location very frequently, I live about 6 minutes from it. Every time there is something missing like condiments, or straws ect and I don't mind it much, sometimes I'm even missing cheese ect, but today I'm so over it. I bought breakfast and everything was absolutely wrong! What bothers me the most is that they didn't have the curtesy to let us know that either they were out of hash browns or that we had to wait. They gave me fries instead of hashbrowns, I ordered bowls with hashbrowns and neither had any! My biscuits were hard and they put the wrong cheese. This is absolutely unacceptable... they basically don't care about frequent guest!!

Cobb salad

Chikfila never dissapoints but i guess today is the day Fyi im pregnant so im ranting cuase its 10:30 pm and i was craving a salad and the is what they gave me i asked for a cobb salad no tomato no egg they basically only gave me lettuce and nuggets only like 3 corn beads and like 3 strings of shredded cheese a sprinkle of bacon. Not to be a karen but if you've even been pregnant and hungry you'll understand.

Chick fil A!!!!!

Very busy every time I come here but line moves extremely fast and my order has always been right and no selfishness with the sauce!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Better option than getting the fries!

Generally a short line at the drive thru, so I have no complaints here. They also have the knack of getting your order correct.

Nice cozy place, perfect setting for fried chicken. I am sure they had other stuff, but that was the mission for this visit. Started with fried pickle spears, probably the best I have ever had, no joke. Perfect coating, taste and preparation. I like the spears vs the chips. Had the special which was to legs and two thighs for the price of the 3 pc dark. Beans and slaw. Ok, the chicken was great, moist, seasoned, very well cooked. I will go out of my way to go here for the chicken. Beans, canned with a little flavor added, nothing to brag about the slaw was pretty good. The fries on my friend's plate looked great. Perfect. We got here at about 1145, the place was busy. By 1215, it was packed, but they move people through and do a booming take out. Try it, you will like it. It satisfied my fried chicken desire and. Am set for a bit, but still want to go get more!!

I enjoyed their fried chicken, which for around $12, came with a thigh and leg, along with ample amounts of coleslaw and fried okra. Even I, as a voracious eater, could not finish all the sides. The chicken itself was beautifully fried in peanut oil, and truly one of the best, juiciest, fried chicken pieces I have ever had. This place is an example of simplicity at its finest. If you are in Houston and craving some down to earth fried chicken, Gus's is the place to go!

We always order from the spicier side of menus, and there's no question when you get your food that they aren't playing around. The chicken is juicy, full of flavor, served on a perfect bun with cole slaw and a couple dill pickle slices. The lightly-battered, seasoned waffle fries are exactly what they should be. I remember the hype this place got as they started out and moved from their original spot to this new spot on Shepard. Now that they have inside seating, I figured it was time to check them out. I was in the area at a local bar with friends, and a few friends ordered Mico's through DoorDash. It looked and smelled so good that I decided I had to have it that night, but at the restaurant. I pulled up to what looks a new building. They share a lot with other businesses but I was able to get a parking spot easily. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating. They also have bar seating by the register. When I looked around, I noticed alot of people waiting on food. It was a mix of food delivery drivers as well as patrons that had ordered and waiting. There was a customer at the counter going off on the employees and I got to commend the young staff for keeping their cool. That being said, the young staff was friendly and trying their best, but they were drowning and the mood in the place was off. Items were forgotten. People were not getting their food in the order of when they ordered. Four parties ordered after me, with similar items and everyone got their orders before mine. I think I was forgotten and only after one of the staff noticed me waiting did they come and look at my receipt. Time from ordering to receiving my food was close to 40 minutes. This is a hot chicken place that is trying to be somewhat fancy. I was served my food on a nice plated plate. Nice touch, but it felt off for the food being served here. They also give utensils in cloth napkins. No paper towels or napkins in sight. Hot chicken is messy and the cloth napkins was not doing it for me. I ended up up knife and forking my sandwich to keep the messy hands from happening. They also serve their fountain drinks in small cups filled to the brim with us. A few swigs and my drink was almost gone. For a place serving spicy food, a soda fountain with refills or readily available water should be available and out front. Now to the good part. The food was outstanding. I ordered the Chicken Sandwich at their hottest level which also came with a side. I got the waffle fries. The sandwich was voted one of the best dishes in the state by Texas Monthly and I can see why. It was a hefty sandwich with a large chicken breast seasoned to perfection. I always love when their is a little hangover of the chicken outside of the bun. The chicken was crispy but juicy inside. The heat was there but totally bearable with the cooling component of the delicious slaw on top. I usually pick pickles off sandwiches, but the pickles here were good and the acidity added a pleasant touch to the sandwich. The waffle fries were also excellent. They were the battered and seasoned kind which I love. The food most definitely saved the overall experience on my visit here. I will say it is one of the better hot chickens I have had in Houston. Now if they go back to their roots and not try to be fancy and do better on their customer service, I can see this place sticking around for a long time. With my experience, I don't see myself hurrying back anytime soon.

When I arrived, there were homeless individuals camping outside, and some even came into the restaurant asking for food. Inside, the space is quite small, with only two tables, making it clear that this place primarily caters to takeout orders. The owner, originally from the Dominican Republic, was friendly and mentioned they've been in business for about three years, with most of their sales coming from DoorDash. Their most popular item is the Roasty Combo (a whole chicken, large rice, large beans, and tortillas for $24.99). I was also interested in their Sweet Fried Plantains, but they were out, so I went with Salchipapa ($4.49) and Steamed Mix Vegetables ($3.79) instead. After bringing the food home, my wife and I dug in. The chicken was okay, but it tasted overly salty. Some chicken pieces, particularly the breast, were very dry. The Salchipapa lacked flavor, and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't particularly memorable either. My favorite part of the meal was the green spicy sauce, which added a nice kick and helped elevate the chicken. Overall, it was okay. I'm glad I tried it, and the owner was very nice.

We had the Roasty Combo (a whole chicken with rice, beans, and tortillas), along with Salchipapa ($4.49) and Steamed Mix Vegetables ($3.79). The chicken itself wasn't terrible, but it was saltier than I prefer, and certain pieces, especially the breast, turned out pretty dry. The Salchipapa didn't have much seasoning, so it tasted a little bland. The steamed vegetables were nothing out of the ordinary--just simple, standard veggies. What I did enjoy was the green spicy sauce, which had a great kick and made the chicken a lot more enjoyable.

When…read morewe entered into the restaurant she didn't greet us & her body language made it seem like we were bothering her. I don't require much and I'm easy going so for her to treat us that way is crazy, but you do you. Just thank the hostess for a minus 1 star. Once seated we were greeted by Gigi, she was the total opposite from the hostess. She was kind and energetic, not the most attentive but she was hella busy so I can't blame her for it. I decided to order a handful of items for my friend and I to try. * Sweet tea- delicious southern style tea, wish it could've been a tad sweeter. 4/5 * Not my mama's biscuit- hot, fresh, soft, fluffy, pillowy. The strawberry jam was delicious and homemade. I wasn't a fan of their bacon jam & the honey butter was good. 4.4/5 * Everything gumbo- not the best gumbo I've had but if you brought that to my house for a potluck I'll eat it. Shrimp was seasoned to perfection, sausage okay. 3/5 * Catfish & Fried chicken combo with collard greens- The chicken was fried hard and seasoned nicely. I know for sure they brine that chicken overnight. The meat itself wasn't bland at all. Batter was crispy & had lots of flavor. I would come back just for their chicken. Catfish was also fantastic with a nice cornmeal batter. Fish could've been fried a little harder. Collard greens were vinegary & has some kick to it. They also had bones in the greens which adds more flavor but remember to take them out if you still want your teeth. 4/5 * Blackened catfish with green beans- definitely not my favorite tbh. The tomato-garlic beurre blanc sauce was not it. If you look at the plate all you see is oil. Which made the dish extremely oily. The fish itself was definitely blackened but barely any seasoning. Green beans were also alright & needed to be cooked longer. Once again as I stated in my other reviews, I can't stand when restaurant doesn't cut the ends of the green beans, please cut em. 2.5/5 * H-town hot sandwich with Mac & Cheese- good quality bread, chicken was fried hard with a Viet-Cajun sauce smothered all around it. Mac and cheese was firm just how I like it but taste wise it was just mid. 3.5/5 * Cast Iron peach crumble- a little too sweet for my liking, but I do like that they added salt to balance out the sweetness. The pecans adds texture to this dessert but I can do without it. 4/5. Overall, the food was a 4, Gigi was fantastic and the other staff I've interacted were great, but yall thank the hostess once again for that minus one. Even though the food was only a 4/5, if she was fake nice to us I would've given this place a 5. Sometimes you gotta fake it till you make it but she didn't even hide the fact that she didn't want us there. Will I come back? Heck yeah, the fried chicken is legit good. By the way, there are a whole bunch of reviews combining with google/yelp that the hostess is rude. She's hurting the business, she just lucked out that I'm nice enough not to give less than 3 stars based on her customer service.
