Theres a large seating area with a warm fire pit, which was a great surprise. I ordered the de La Rosa Mazapan Latte, which I asked to be made "less sweet." The employee perfected the sweetness for me and although I knew it has a peanut butter base, I wasn't expecting to find an actual chopped peanut towards the end of my drink. They stamp their cups with the verde, "walk by Faith," which was a nice surprise.

This little place is the cutest freaking spot on Aldine Westfield. You pull up and it's like a Hawaiian Tiki hit, it's covered but open air so you get all the sounds and smells of the neighborhood. You walk-in and there's a barber/salon container shape to the left, available containers spaces to the right and you dead into a coffee shop and bus of deliciousness! In celebration of National Coffee Day, they had a buy one get a small free drink, which is the best thing for me on account of I really wanted a flight of all their Hispanic inspired flavors!! BTW a flight of your coffees is actually a great idea woman!! Anywho I knew I wanted the Mazapán, it taste just like the La Rosa, even had chopped peanuts on top I was torn between the Guadalupe or yhe Abuelia, the woman of the house suggested Abuelita and so I listened to mama! They were both cool and yummy and decadent! There's a a giant fire pit waiting for the fall and patio seating with jenga or a roof top covered patio if you have time to sit and enjoy your coffee. Wherever you're in the East Aldine area, pop in say high, grab a cup of coffee or something from their menu and take in the vibes and scenery!

Step inside and you'll find a wonderfully mixed crowd: tech people typing furiously, students contemplating existential dread over a flat white, fashion-forward creatives in boots so white they defy known urban physics -- and yes, that includes me. One corner of the room is charmingly not quite tidy, as if the café itself were whispering: "Relax. Real life happens here." Industrial ducts snake overhead, large windows flood the space with natural light, and sociability seems to circulate as freely as the air. Now, the coffee: a revelation. The espresso is concentrated civilization -- exactly as it should be -- and the cappuccino is an elegant balance of foam and depth, not one of those half-liter dairy-fatigue exercises from anonymous multi-national chains-that-shall-not-be-named. The staff? Friendly, knowledgeable, and disarmingly competent -- the sort of people who know precisely why this bean tastes like citrus and chocolate instead of simply shrugging at the universe. In sum: Tenfold isn't just a café; it's a microcosm of a city that thrives on difference. A place where everyone, no matter their background, finds caffeine, community, and a seat at the table. For all of that -- the atmosphere, the humanity, the coffee artistry -- five stars, unequivocally.

I also did not know that they would have people come in to speak on the issue and I found it insightful. The seating inside is super cozy and comfy and I also liked that there's a lot of outlets where I could plug my devices in. For my drink I ordered an iced Sweet Toff. It's undoubtedly casual with a hipstery feel that is reminiscent of something that would be in Austin or Portland. The name is also appropo since I can never get out of here without ordering at least two cups of something. Parking isn't a problem and there's It's usually nice and quiet, which makes it a really ideal place to hit the ground running with some laptop action. The fairly fast WiFi is an added plus. Another thumbs up is their affordable prices which are around $5 or less. In the inflated world of coffee and foodflation, this is always a thumbs up. Ironically I end up ordering their most expensive drinks, which are mainly their house favorites ($5.50). The secret squirrel, mochanut, sweet toff, and white mocha, which are all a solid option. Their matcha latte ($5) and lemonade ($3) are refreshing and easy to order on any of our warmest days. Service has also been among their strong suits. They've been efficient with orders, good to point people out to where bathrooms, WiFi passwords, and focusing on their mission of ending human trafficking. They have noted themselves as Houston's first non-profit coffee shop that is dedicated to ending human trafficking. Well then. In that case, I'll have another cup.

I usually enjoy ending with the last bit of crust, but although it was good, it just wasn't finish worthy for me. Just a little too dry. To be clear, it was the edge part that was dry, the layer below the quiche was perfect. Otherwise, I enjoyed it enough to order again. I appreciated the Spring Greens, dressed lightly, that was included (my preferred side with a quiche). I tried my daughter's OSC Sandwich (Whitehurst Farms Chickens, Orange Sesame Glaze, Tiger Tear Saw, Avocado, Jalapeno, Marinated Egg, Pickles, Fruit, Tallow Chips, Focaccia), it was great. Maybe better than the Tart, I would certainly order it for myself for lunch. I know the honey pie is a big hit, but for me it was too sweet (I KNOW, that doesn't seem possible, right?!). However, the Duffin (hope I spelled that right) - OH MY GOODNESS, it was the best marriage of donut and muffin I would not even have dreamed of, but so happy someone did. Yummy!!!!! Note: I really appreciate that this "Crap Free" (their words not mine) establishment doesn't use artificial colors or flavors, and supports local farms.
